- 10-уровневую кампанию, которая поможет вам ознакомиться с игрой;
- режим «Песочница», который позволит вам изменять любые настройки и в который также входит случайный генератор целей;
- 97 различных неисследованных видов живности, у каждого из которых свои требования по уходу;
- более 100 различных объектов, которые вы можете размещать в своем океанариуме, в том числе: фильтры, скиммеры, нитратные редукторы, охладители, нагреватели, ящики с едой, станции для оборудования, двери, ворота, раздатчики еды и напитков, стойки для воздушных шаров, краски и многое другое;
- возможность организовывать лекции на различные темы, а также устанавливать время их начала и частоту, чтобы еще больше увеличить свои доходы;

This has become one of my favorite games! I used to play things like Zoo Tycoon or Theme Hospital growing up, but I got bored of them. I also have Two Point Hospital, and don't find it as engaging as this.
The two biggest reasons: How much you can customize your aquarium. Want a bunch of smaller tanks? Or save the space for one BIG tank? Do you put as many decorations as you can in the front tanks, or space them out evenly? Do you want do sort your aquarium by warm water vs cold water, or maybe fish vs mammals vs birds (if you have the expansions at any rate). You can even have just... little touches you always like adding; like I love putting the downed plane decoration in my biggest shark tanks. I don't know why, it just gives me joy.
And the second reason: Being able to have more then one type of animal in a tank. This was my biggest (and still is) issue with a lot of the Tycoon style games: You can put one species in, and that's it. Or you HAVE to put certain species in to unlock other stuff, even in sandbox. In Two Point Hospital, it's the same linear progression of rooms, then add one or two for the current area, then finish whatever. Rinse and repeat. With Megaquarium, how do you fit SEVEN species of fish in with your Turbots so they don't eat each other and are all happy? There have been several times I've gone "Okay, if I do X and Y and then... wait, I can't put X in, it won't get along with V that's already in there. Okay, what if I move V out, I could put J in and then..."
The scenarios are great and let you learn the game while keeping things different enough it doesn't have the previously mentioned TPH linear problem. And the different styles of Sandbox mode make for interesting challenges worth coming back to as well.
I also love the fact the customers look so derpy and little detail in comparison to the animals. You know what you're here for: to look at all the awesome fish.
I have 100% this game after 155 hours, and I enjoyed all of it.
Fun little game. Relaxing and peaceful, mechanics not too deep to match.
macaroni is good
Great if you like management games.
It can get a little overwhelming once your aquarium hits a certain size, but if you keep things organized and use the floor paints to help tell the public and employee areas apart at a glance it helps. The music does get old after a couple hours, but any relaxing music can go with it.
Lovely, relaxing game. Not a challening game, but there is enough going on to keep me amused.
I've been reading up about the animals.
Strongly recommend to have a simple yet fun game to kill time.
I used to work extensively with fish of all types for over a decade and this is probably the first aquarium/management sim that has gotten the Vibes right. I loved opening up a fish info panel and seeing "does not like conspecifics" in the tags- that's how I knew this was going to be a good time. I love playing "fish sudoku"- trying to time when fish grow in tanks with their tank mates to make sure they don't eat them/aren't eaten themselves along with any additional requirements like if they don't like food competitors or if they're wimps/bullies. Really nice attention to detail, I definitely didn't binge 13 hours at once on my first day playing, nope, no sir.
.
Such a fun game in the old style of tycoon games. I hope that the same devs come out with a zoo game in the future because I think they'd really hit it out of the park like with this one. 10/10
This is a fun tycoon game where you get to manage your own aquarium and unlock new kinds of fish and tanks/machinery by earning prestige and research points. For a management sim, this game is probably aimed at beginners as the economy mechanics are relatively simple, so you won't get to adjust the microscopic things like ticket price. It does however let you divide the aquarium into different zones and assign workers to them, but the pathfinding of the workers is not very smart as sometimes workers would walk long distances to get fish food instead of going to the closest box.
The main challenge of this game is meeting the living requirements of the fish - the tanks need to be at a certain temperature and water cleanliness level, some fish cannot be placed together, some need to live in groups, or have a certain amount of rocks/fauna in their tanks. It becomes somewhat of a puzzle game like the Einstein puzzle in which you have to figure out how to optimize your tanks given all the constraints you have to work with. On top of that you have to manage the satisfaction level of the visitors, because for some strange reason they all have tiny bladders and have to pee all the time. They are also nasty citizens who will throw their trash on the floor and then complain about the hygiene if you don't put trash cans literally EVERYWHERE.
Although some parts of the game did not make much sense or could be frustrating, I would still recommend this game as I got many hours of fun out of it, trying to build the ultimate aquarium that could hold every single kind of fish there was to offer. There is a campaign mode that gives you set objectives and a sandbox mode that lets you be creative. There are also DLCs (which I haven't played yet) that offer more fish types and objects for building and decorating.
It is a good simulation game. I wish you could build a true mega-aquarium, but my CPU dies when you get too big. Scenarios are well layed out
Nice game but you have to like this type of game. I actually love this game but i know a lot of players who find it repetitive.Game isn't dead but i would love some new free updates ( i bought the two DLC and they are great as they offer a big variety of content(i advise buying them as a bundle when on sale))
Adorable, educational game! My only complaint is that the music gets a bit repetitive but you can mute it and play your own music. It was fun recognising several of the species in real life at aquariums and zoos.
Amazing game I had fun Playing this game, I find building aquariums is more fun than making Zoo's but i wish it has some small whale species like Porpoise or Beluga's but I hope this game is still getting updates and love it deserves.
I bought this game when it was on offer great decision because since then I've had a lot of fun playing the story mode and I find fish really amazing creatures and this game has a ton of them and it's really fun
Great game. It's definitely top tier for it's genre. Loved learning new fishes. The only thing I didn't like about this game was when you bought a fish from the mail and it dies you have no way of getting it again. ): I wish I could buy them back. This doesn't effect my overall score of the game.
In general: 7/10
As a cozy game: 8/10
For it's genre: 8/10
fish
If you like classics like zoo tycoon this one is a gem for sure
Still coming back to this after years. I wish there was more to the economic side of the game, but other than that it is a fantastic tycoon game with puzzle elements.
i enjoy this game as it lets me enact my god complex upon feeble fish. they will all suffer in captivity beneath my iron fist, for too long have the aquatic lifeforms lived their comfortable lives and i am merely here to put them in their place. anyway, game is 11/10, i like fish :)
It's a very fun and relaxing game. It very closely follows the actual considerations when operating a real aquarium.
Fun aquarium game, but it definitely has room to improve. As it stands some of the fish textures are just blatantly inaccurate in ways that don't contribute to the style (like the epaulet shark doesn't have its epaulets. lol).
Also, all fish look exactly the same regardless of age. Fish like the emperor angelfish and french angelfish who, in real life, change their patterns drastically as they age, don't change their pattern at all in this game, they simply get larger. Maybe there's some tech debt reason for this, as I'm not sure I've seen any mods which add this either, but this isn't this team's first game and it seems like something that should be almost trivial to implement.
The fish also do not interact with the environment at all. One of my favorite parts of these zoo tycoonesk games is to watch the animals explore the habitats I create, but in this game the fish phase through decorations.
One massive plus for this game is the modding scene. There is a mod for almost everything. Very wonderful modding scene.
This game is a lot of fun, but I am left wanting for a triple A aquarium tycoon. With planet zoo entering the end of its lifespan my fingers are crossed that something like that might be on the horizon.
Closest game to old Zoo Tycoon I've found yet, very much including Planet Zoo in that estimation.
This is one of my all time favourite builder/simulation games, second to the original Zoo Tycoon. Easy controls, so many fish options, the breeding is SO fun. It's very open for you to be creative with goals along the way to keep yourself motivated and awesome difficulty variances. 10/10 recommend.
fissh :)
I genuinely love this game. It's like the aquarium version of Planet Zoo or other such management games, albeit without the level of graphics you'd find in Planet Zoo.
Pros:
- Fun and challenging, with different requirements for different sea creatures, guest management, and training for staff
- While not crazy amazing graphics, they are very cute and pleasant on the eyes
- One of the best 'career modes' I've ever played through
- DLC feels like full expansions, with massive chunks of content added into the game despite being much cheaper than the base game or expansions in other games.
- The 'sandbox' mode feels like you're just playing the game without the specific objectives from career mode, rather than feeling like you're just messing around with no purpose like some sandboxes can feel.
- There are sooooo many mods for more fish, but the game & DLCs have a ton already if you don't feel like modding.
Cons:
- If you don't play career mode, your fish will probably all die. Career mode is where you learn how to do everything.
- The career modes of the DLCs don't incorporate each other. You can't have freshwater fish in your Deep Freeze career aquariums or visa versa. While that's fine, it's really disappointing that the architect bundle is also not allowed in any career modes. (note that they DO all work together in sandbox though)
- Some things in the game are not explained/taught well. I had a few things that I learned on accident because I mis-clicked or something
- I would like to see more information on guest happiness - maybe an overlay? I have guests complaining they need the restroom when there's a toilet right around the corner. I have guests getting annoyed because I use the same decor in every tank and they "already saw that." In general, keeping guests happy is kind of a pain and having a heat map or something that shows where happiness is lowest would help.
In general, I've thrown over 100 hours into this game and will be playing more. I really do love the game and would love to see more DLC in the future.
best fucking game ever
Extremely punishing for a game that takes so long to learn and requires near perfect execution to avoid disaster.
I LOVE FISHES ><(((º> RAHHH :3
This is a delightfully fun and replayable tycoon game. I've played through the entire campaign and gotten all achievements. The devs have put just the right amount of effort into every aspect of this game, in my opinion.
The visuals are cute and great to look at. The amount of decoration and painting gives a lot of freedom in creativity and design. The mechanics are straightforward yet have enough complexity to make the game challenging.
Just looking at the fundamentals of a tycoon game: guest behavior, worker management, animal requirements, etc., this game has nothing to complain about. Probably the most fun game I've played in a long time and a must-try for anyone who loved Zoo Tycoon, Rollercoaster Tycoon, etc. This game is unique and works on its own, but also shows the devs understood what made the great games of the genre work so well, and implemented them with amazing success.
10/10
I found it to be a fun challenge, especially the final scenario. It can be replayed over and over again for limitless fun, especially with the sandbox mode allowing you to set your startup and victory conditions. The mouse controls can be a little wonky, but with patience it can be overcome.
Amazing but cannot figure out a good way to breed discus
Absolutely enjoy this sim game. It's easy to understand, runs smoothly, and feels like you're able to achieve your goals quickly even though lots of time has passed. The DLC expand heavily on the game, too, which makes them feel worth the wait and price. (They are essentially a whole additional story mode, with items you can use in your custom builds, and they keep improving each time.) I didn't realize that the last DLC was released almost a year ago because I still play it pretty heavily.
Definitely recommend if you want an aquarium at home or love fish.
I like fish.
if u like fish and building games try this game....
why am i even trying to sell it? just buy it and see for urself!
the game is amazingly done and u can literally waste all ur time here.
Me like fish
One of my favorite simulation/management games!
It's an absolutely fantastic game. The tutorial is smooth, the gameplay is complex, but not confusing. Managing each tank's denizens and balancing everything isn't too hard, but is definitely a challenge. I spent way too many hours in this. 10/10
Really fun game! Fun campaign and really nice music!
I love this game, it's so much fun!
Cute game!
Megaquarium is a must-play for simulation game lovers!
Megaquarium offers a fantastic blend of creativity, strategy, and fun. As the curator of your own public aquarium, you get to design unique displays, care for a wide variety of fish, and manage all aspects of your aquarium’s operations, from staff to guest satisfaction. The game provides a satisfying balance between managing resources and ensuring the happiness of both your fish and visitors. With its intuitive mechanics and charming visuals, it’s easy to get lost in creating the perfect aquarium. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys management games with a creative twist!
Generated with AI and <3
the game is good and even very good, but it's really a pity that not so many people know about it:(
Make fish happy in order to unlock more fish to make happy. I regret not buying the complete bundle from the start. Works great on the Steam Deck too. The font is tiny, but I use the magnifier. Runs flawlessly.
Its the best aquarium game ever. Simple as that.
first good aquarium game i've played, not to hard, and lots of fun!
RSS management for knowing what fish require is very simple and easy to read.
I haven't played a lot of tycoon games but I have some familiarity with them.
Megaquarium is the type that focuses more on designing and building your aquarium more than managing the economy. Figuring out how to maximize the variety of fish and get the most views from guests is the main focus.
The game didn't look that impressive graphically but it's much prettier than I thought. There are plenty of ways to make your aquarium look nice and the fish are very colorful and have cute animations.
There is only one music track and it gets very repetitive. This game could use more music.
I tried both DLCs and they're fun. Each one comes with a campaign and there are new mechanics. The breeding mechanic with Freshwater Frenzy is pretty interesting and you can breed a whole bunch of different types for certain species of fish. I haven't completed the Abyssal DLC yet but so far I like it.
The main game also has a campaign and it does a good job of teaching you the mechanics.
I really love scuba diving and visiting aquariums to look at cool sea creatures, so this game is great fun for me.
this game lets you make a giant aquarium filled to the brim with exclusively royal gammas
i fucking love fish
