- 10-уровневую кампанию, которая поможет вам ознакомиться с игрой;
- режим «Песочница», который позволит вам изменять любые настройки и в который также входит случайный генератор целей;
- 97 различных неисследованных видов живности, у каждого из которых свои требования по уходу;
- более 100 различных объектов, которые вы можете размещать в своем океанариуме, в том числе: фильтры, скиммеры, нитратные редукторы, охладители, нагреватели, ящики с едой, станции для оборудования, двери, ворота, раздатчики еды и напитков, стойки для воздушных шаров, краски и многое другое;
- возможность организовывать лекции на различные темы, а также устанавливать время их начала и частоту, чтобы еще больше увеличить свои доходы;
- сувенирный магазин и удобства для посетителей;

very nice
Cute fish and art style. Easy to learn but still can be a challenge
this shit is so good for my neurodivergent brain i need this but with reptiles
why is there so much capitalism in my fish game :(
Really fantastic and endlessly replayable if you're big into zoo and aquarium sims. When you exhaust the base game there are many good mods. The mechanics are easy to learn but can still present a challenge and many avenues of experimentation. I love this game.
So I have played Megaquarium a lot and it has its good points. It's quite in depth of its fish care and there's a lot of variety. But the management aspects are super underbaked and the UI feels clunky as hell. As a management game fan, I can't really recommend it. If you wanna do pretty tanks and don't care supermuch about the management, you'll enjoy it. But I find it lacking overall.
feels kinda basic. not a lot of personality in the designs and music
Its fun for a few hours. Better get it on discount.
I was surprised by how much i loved this game!!! And surprised by how much detail and research went into making the fish and their habitats accurate! Cozy grind. I do wish the building system was smoother. Thanks!!!
The vanilla game is a lot of fun. The extensive collection of mods make it even better. Who hasn't wanted to have a mosasaur in their aquarium.
A very simple game to pick up, it gets incredibly complex as you work up the ranks, which adds to the, at least for me, addiction of seeing more fishes swim into tanks, to my guests' delight. The lo-poly look also looks adorable and pleasant, and with all the DLCs, the music's variety is most welcome for the long play sessions I do.
A fun management sim with good support for mouse and keyboard (if you take the time to reconfigure hotkeys). Decently challenging. Recommended. 8/10
I don't think this game is worth full price (25 USD) for two main reasons: the first is simple, and I'm just not sure there's enough content. I think on sale, it'd be a fair price, content-wise.
The second reason is the UI. At first, things seem fine. But once you start scaling is when the overview and management tools available to you are seriously lacking. Here are some specifics, in no particular order:
- employee zones cannot overlap.
- employees cannot be reordered in the staff list view.
- assigning zones is an un-intuitive nightmare (it's like a multi-dueling-picklist). You also can't see staff stats while assigning them zones. You just have to remember their name. Admittedly, I haven't tried to rename them.
- nitpick, but you can't choose a zone's color.
- I have no idea the interval or trigger at which new hires become available.
- pumps can be connected to tanks at a distance. If you move the pump, even if it's still in range of all tanks, it disconnects. Your mouse will be ready to connect to ONE tank, but after that, your mouse goes back into move mode (so you must exit, click on the pump, click on the unoccupied "Add Tank" button). I move pumps pretty often to Tetris all my machinery together, especially as fish grow or I move them.
- Finding a tank where a fish is unwell. The "Ledger" gives an overview (and "overview" is a generous term) of fish in each tank. Click on a fish, open its info, great. Click on a tank.... nothing happens. Sure you can rename tanks, but that's not anymore helpful in finding which tank it is.
- The "close everything" button does not, in fact, close everything. Build tabs remain open.
- Build tabs don't reopen after placing an item. Really annoying to place something, open the build menu again, scroll down to where you want again, and repeat.
- Really no guest overview. You can see how many guests have certain thoughts, but that's it. No percentages of guests that think things. No overview of how many guests need drink/food/toilet. You can pause the game and count the icons above the heads yourself, I guess. But even then, you won't know whether a guest is heading towards something or not, or if everything in range is occupied/already has someone heading to it. Satisfying guest needs is completely vibes based.
[*] Maybe I'm blind, but I have not seen anything indicating how far through the day you are. This is pretty important, since fish feeding tasks respawn at the start of a day, and it's hard to tell if I'm well staffed or not until there's simply fish that didn't get fed.
One of the best aquarium games on the market
fun game
feeeesh
Awesome game, sandbox is so much fun, cant wait to try out dlc fish/tanks!
good game but id like more ways to customize the tanks and the building
This game is a really fun aquarium simulator, with lots of different fish and other sea creatures. Great DLCs and would probally get alot of money off a Prehistoric DLC. Although the limited space maps are not really fun.
Casual Sim Delight – 8.5/10
I spent just under 30 hours playing through the base game and completing all 10 stages, and it was a blast. This game is super fun, casual, and easy to pick up, making it perfect for winding down. The cozy atmosphere and engaging management mechanics kept me hooked, offering just the right amount of strategy without being overwhelming. If you're looking for a laid-back yet intriguing sim, this one’s definitely worth your time!
very good fish game, makes me a good kind of stressed. also activates my autism big time!! would recommend to people that love zoo tycoon
The grind is real.
This game will test your sanity as you question why everyone else is trying to do tasks that Rob should do, Rob is meant to do that Janice stop doing it. I specifically made it so Rob is made for that task so Janice can you please stop trying to talk to the guests and fix the tank with the fish dying?!!
Overall 9.6/10, Would yell at Rob again
Honestly, I was expecting a lot more due to the positive reviews. The idea is really nice and easily has the potential to be really good. However, a lot of older management games have more depth than this. For a much more modern game I was expecting it to be better made and have a better UI. The visitor AI is clunky and they will get themselves stuck. The graphics glitch out far too often. I've only played a few hours and already started getting bored.
A fun, cozy and surprisingly variable management sim. It does everything right in terms of game play, has a ton of variety on types of fish you can get, and more customization of habitats and guest environments than there seems on first glance (though I do wish there was more of that compared to a game like Parkitect). Workshop support is helpful for building on what's already there too.
There are a few nits, specifically:
-Guest and employee AI is pretty weak, which makes it frustrating when fish aren't being fed in a timely and routine way and guests not being very fun to track and watch.
-The UI has something not quite right about it, like there should be a few more overlay view options and often there's an overload of open windows. Selling fish should be more intuitive than having to use the demolish button and selecting them from a tank view window.
But it's pretty minor stuff. Overall I recommend Megaquarium if you're looking to scratch that charming watch-your-project-grow itch and want to build one of those cool aquarium rooms where you walk in and are overwhelmed by the sharks and stingrays swimming all around you.
Fun casual game
pretty nice, very fun to play. ps: e is how u rotate placeable items
This was a super fun game to play and beat.. I just also purchased the 3 dlcs and will be beating those are normal too.
I'm absolutely addicted to this game. The logic, the planning, the organizing. Sadly there's no comprehensive guide of all the parts (Fish, Tanks, Decor, etc.), so I'm working on one in my spare time. I wish I had more free time to play.
yesss fish
Game is nice but the auto-save (every 1min) isn’t working. I lost everything.
Also, it’s not intuitive when you start a new aquarium from the e-mail notification. If you say yes, you go to a new zone to make a new aquarium, and unlock more stuff. But then you can’t go back to your previous aquarium and if you save, only the current aquarium will be saved. You need a save for every zone… should have just made a map icon where you can see all your aquariums and choose between them.
My friend and I lost everything because of this really tricky save system. Nothing is explained and the auto save feature (set on ON) isn’t working….
I loved this game due to its simplicity. I love simple simulators that also don't looks cheap. Game was simple enough but also entertaining.
I did not expect this to be an 100+ hour game, just to get the achievements. After finally getting all of them it was borderline euphoric to hit the uninstall button. This game ran my life for the better part of a month and I've never been so aggressively hooked on something.
I struggle with a lot of the larger games within this genre, such as Planet Zoo, because although I love the graphics there's a lot going on and I find it a bit overwhelming to look at. Megaquarium has basic graphics, an easy to use interface, and overall just a flatter vantage/viewpoint, which worked perfectly for me. The animals look derpy af and I love that about them.
I purchased the base game for $9 which was at least 40 hours of content and well worth it. The DLC adds a lot of complexity, especially if you're planning to go for all the achievements. Prestige grinding can be infuriating, but once you've got a system down and properly monitor the guest comments you'll be okay. One piece of litter hidden among the masses in a high traffic area has the absolute potential to tank your aquarium reputation.
Even if you don't want to fork out the money for the DLC packs, the base game/campaign is solid.
feish
Nice and chill game. Pretty as well
A game of fish. It is fun.
Shallow, disappointing game. Bought it because I LOVE the dev's other game Big Pharma which is complex and challenging. This is more of a casual game sadly. Hoping the dev has gotten it out of his system and will go back to making more interesting games because he's got great skill at game design.
As someone who loves fish, puzzles, and designing this game is awesome. You learn a lot about the various fish species and there's a huge roster (especially with the expansions). I hope more expansions are released eventually because coming back to this game every few months is a welcome respite from the stresses of everyday life.
I love this game, I played it on the Nintendo Switch and it was great but the frame rate was bad. However on PC its amazing game runs fine, and still looks just as amazing definitely would recommend especially if you want a cozy slow pace game with chaos sprinkled in.
I'm having so much fun with this game. It's great to play while relaxing and watching YouTube, but it's also a little bit challenging at times. Definitely recommend to anyone who likes cosy management games.
If you like games like Planet Zoo or other management games you HAVE to get this. I never was really into fish but I thought I'd experiment and OMG its so fun. I've found an appreciation for fish, and I love the depth in this game.

I grew up with Zoo Tycoon and Sim theme park. It's hard to replicate that exact feeling in recent simulation games but this game does it. I didn't know anything about fish but decided to give it a try and I'm glad I did. This is probably my favorite sim game since Banished.
Completed the campaign mode over a satisfying amount of time, good challenge and loved being able to think creatively. Brilliant game.
Mods add so much content to this game. You'll have a mile long aquarium with at least 60 employees by end game
i love fish
Good.
So far I love it. The fish having likes and dislikes adds an extra challenge than just making a nice aquarium. Has major zoo tycoon 2 vibes.
This has become one of my favorite games! I used to play things like Zoo Tycoon or Theme Hospital growing up, but I got bored of them. I also have Two Point Hospital, and don't find it as engaging as this.
The two biggest reasons: How much you can customize your aquarium. Want a bunch of smaller tanks? Or save the space for one BIG tank? Do you put as many decorations as you can in the front tanks, or space them out evenly? Do you want do sort your aquarium by warm water vs cold water, or maybe fish vs mammals vs birds (if you have the expansions at any rate). You can even have just... little touches you always like adding; like I love putting the downed plane decoration in my biggest shark tanks. I don't know why, it just gives me joy.
And the second reason: Being able to have more then one type of animal in a tank. This was my biggest (and still is) issue with a lot of the Tycoon style games: You can put one species in, and that's it. Or you HAVE to put certain species in to unlock other stuff, even in sandbox. In Two Point Hospital, it's the same linear progression of rooms, then add one or two for the current area, then finish whatever. Rinse and repeat. With Megaquarium, how do you fit SEVEN species of fish in with your Turbots so they don't eat each other and are all happy? There have been several times I've gone "Okay, if I do X and Y and then... wait, I can't put X in, it won't get along with V that's already in there. Okay, what if I move V out, I could put J in and then..."
The scenarios are great and let you learn the game while keeping things different enough it doesn't have the previously mentioned TPH linear problem. And the different styles of Sandbox mode make for interesting challenges worth coming back to as well.
I also love the fact the customers look so derpy and little detail in comparison to the animals. You know what you're here for: to look at all the awesome fish.
I have 100% this game after 155 hours, and I enjoyed all of it.
Fun little game. Relaxing and peaceful, mechanics not too deep to match.
