About the Game
You control everything, from the cruise-altitude decisions to the smallest ground-level details.Challenge yourself to create an efficient & profitable international hub in Career Mode, or create an artistic masterpiece without credit rating worries in Sandbox Mode.

Construct your terminal, hire staff, sign airline contracts, tweak the daily flight schedule, configure standby gate availability, plan & design your infrastructure -- bag handling systems, roads & taxiways, fuel systems, runways, gates, hangars, service vehicles, and everything in between. Deeply simulated gameplay where each detail makes an impact -- down to the trash cans.

Simple & familiar controls for a smooth takeoff
The starter airport helps get aircraft landing & cash flowing almost immediately. Aim for profitability by scaling up, but remember: more passengers, more problems! Getting 2,000 pax out is easy. Avoiding bottlenecks for 10k+ pax will likely require different tactics!
Large & complex airports require extremely smart designs.
Moving walkways, multi-story structures, additional terminals, one-way taxiways, staggered schedules, and careful standby gate allocation -- these are but a sampling of the concepts you'll leverage on your way to truly mastering the art of large-scale airport operations.

One size does NOT fit all.
It seems simple, placing restrooms or retail areas for instance -- but it's more than meets the eye! Pax may become distracted when seating or interesting services require a long walk or are far from their gate! Carefully consider the details to truly maximize your efficiency and reap the profits.
Happy Pax, Happy Airline.
Getting flights out on-time is only part of the battle. Ensuring passengers catch their flight is another. When operations run smoothly & pax are all happily catching their flights you can be pretty sure that the airlines are probably satisfied, too! If you keep the airlines happy you can probably raise prices without creating too much fuss -- and that leads to bigger profits!

Core Gameplay
Career Mode & Sandbox Mode (unlimited funds)
16+ Aircraft, turboprop to turbine. 15 Airlines with realistic high-quality textures.
15+ research items to obtain improved transit, reporting, expansion, and other capabilities
Comprehensive Fuel System Simulation
Fuel can be a profitable saving grace or you may even decide to sell at-or-below cost as a loss-leader tactic in your effort to gain favor with airlines. Leverage the Fuel Marketplace as much as you can, too -- with enough capacity you may be able to cash in on any arbitrage opportunities that present themselves which can provide a welcome capital infusion.
Deeply Simulated Baggage Handling Systems
Conveyor to carousel, every single bag is tracked -- watch as each piece of luggage makes its journey. Losing bags is a sure way to upset an individual pax, but it also starts causing issues with the airline when occurring often. Bag handling systems can be quite complicated and you definitely don't want to become a case study like KDEN has! Take it slow and plan ahead -- building a highly efficient baggage handling operation is no easy task and requires careful planning!
Pax Info Systems
Info displays, kiosks, and public address speaker systems complete with Electronics zones to house the required amplifiers. Keep pax informed and they'll have a greater sense of urgency as their departure time nears and they're be far less likely to needlessly wander from their gate.
Robust Queues
Extremely powerful queue system provides you with full control. Supports numerous configurations include 'one-to-many' desks, to assign a single queue to multiple service stations. Optionally allows restrictions to be set per queue to allow/restrict certain types of people from using the queue (First Class, Coach, and Flight Crew) which you can leverage to create expedited queues for operational efficiency purposes.

Extremely Active Dev Team with a Proven Track Record
We have a proven track record of delivering and we've deployed hundreds of public builds since entering Early Access. Countless suggestions have been implemented, sometimes the very same day they're suggested.
We listen, we care, and we work extremely hard to promptly incorporate feedback. You'll find us on the forums nearly every single day of the week. Perhaps most important is that we deliver. This is true first class direct service -- no connections, layovers, or diversions here!

hehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehe
Gives you a good representation of the inner workings of an airport. Everything feels natural in the sense that you don't have to watch advanced tutorials to understand how to play it. Definitely recommend for easy going players. Absolute gem.
Super chill and really enjoyable
SimAirport
Overview
*SimAirport* is an indie simulation game where players take on the role of managing and building their own airport. From the ground up, you’ll design terminals, manage staff, build facilities, and handle logistics to ensure smooth operations. It's a strategic and often chaotic challenge, balancing customer satisfaction, security, and air traffic—all while dealing with inevitable delays and problems that arise in the world of aviation.
Gameplay
In *SimAirport*, you’ll be tasked with constructing terminals, creating runways, and managing flight schedules. The game offers a variety of features including passenger services, staff management, and security protocols. There’s a fine balance between efficient airport operation and customer comfort, as you deal with baggage handling, queues, and inevitable technical glitches. It’s not just about managing an airport, but also about optimizing every corner to make it run like a well-oiled machine.
Graphics
While not as polished as some larger-budget titles, *SimAirport* has a quirky, somewhat retro graphical style that works well with its detailed simulation mechanics. The interface and design may feel a bit basic, but the focus is on the gameplay, which is immersive enough to make up for it. The visual representation of an airport in full swing is surprisingly satisfying.
Sound
The game’s sound design includes the hum of airport activity—announcements, the whir of conveyor belts, and the roar of planes taking off. While not overly complex, the soundscape contributes to the immersive environment of a bustling airport. The absence of a rich soundtrack is noticeable, but it allows players to focus more on the management side of things.
Customization
Customization is a key feature in *SimAirport*. You’ll be able to design the layout of your terminals, manage flights, and even tweak how passengers move through the airport. You can also change the appearance of various elements, like how your staff is dressed or the look of your buildings, but it's mainly functional customization for gameplay rather than aesthetic design.
Replayability
With endless possibilities in airport design and the random challenges that come with each playthrough, *SimAirport* offers significant replayability. The variety of situations, such as different airport sizes, flight routes, and unique obstacles (weather, strikes, etc.), ensures no two games will be the same.
Criticism
- **Complexity**: The learning curve can be steep for newcomers, especially when managing staff, security, and the ever-growing demands of passengers.
- **Repetitive**: While there’s a lot to manage, the gameplay can feel a bit repetitive after a while, especially in longer sessions.
- **Lack of detailed tutorials**: The game leaves a lot of learning to trial and error, which can be frustrating for players looking for guidance.
Funny Notes
- “That awkward moment when your airport becomes a maze and passengers start camping in the bathroom.”
- “Who needs a flight schedule when you have ‘creative delays’?”
- “Accidentally blocked the runway with baggage carts. Took 10 minutes for the plane to finally take off. Worth it, though.”
Rating
⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4/5)
*"SimAirport is a highly addictive and often frustrating game that challenges you to manage every aspect of an airport. The steep learning curve may put off some, but the deep strategic gameplay more than makes up for it. Just don't expect to get much done on your own flights."*
Honestly one of my favorite simulators ever, but there are a lot of bugs. Heartbreaking, but the devs seem to have abandoned the game (or at best, ghosted their players!), so buyer beware that stuff may never get fixed. We all might be stuck waiting for the next great airport simulator from a different developer.
Who knows, maybe we'll get lucky and the devs will reappear and complete their promised patches. After more than a year, I'm not optimistic.
i like the ability to do it on your own and really make it yours
Auto save does not repeat. Lost 12 hours of build
DONT. JUST DONT. LVGame abandons games. period. better of spending your money elsewhere
VERY GOOD
I liked this game a lot.
Game had a solid start when development started but unfortunately it has taken a turn for the worse. It has gone from a fun airport sim with quirks, to a inorganic faceless mess.
Alround a good game, a balanced medium between too hard and too easy. There are multiple strategies that go to this game, and a lot of them need extra care to keep them running. AMAZING mods for airlines and airports in this game, and i definitely recommend checking out the steam workshop for this game. 9.5/10 stars. The only thing I recommend is that sometimes even though i surrounded my airport with fences it still says its an unsafe runway. If you fix that issue then i think it will be a 10/10 game. Good job.
Good
the problem solving and satiafication of the airport is why i love this game.
has a few kinks and wish some things worked alittle better but over all its a great game i would recommend
The game is fine, but you can find better games out there for a lower price.
don't buy it unless there is a discount
wasted time with this just to be stuck with bugs over and over again
good game
Sim Mehrport
Playing this game feels just like a trip via your favorite airport, there's some excitement to be had, but you can't help yourself get overcome with boredom in the process, and of course there is always something that goes wrong along the way.
The excitement:
Watching passengers follow the paths in droves, using your facilities for cash, adding flights to your schedule and watch them land and takeoff, building a new wing for your airport, all feel satisfying in some shape or form.
The boredom:
Problem is the game is both very easy - once you get in a profit pattern you can't stop winning.
And very slow - it takes ages to grind money and building costs a lot.
Combined with the lack of end goal, the lack of surprise mechanics like I dunno, drunk passengers or terrorists, and the somewhat limited map size, this makes for some pretty dull and grindy gameplay. Everytime I pick up this game I end up getting fed up after a few hours: there is no pizzaz to keep the engagement factor going.
The wrong:
In addition the game contains a fair amount of:
-Incomplete and/or underutilised features: the game left Early Access a bit too early and it shows. For example there's an entire staff shift times micromanagement interface...... that doesn't seem to do anything.
-Clunky mechanics: unable to build objects in certain ways. Obtuse requirements to fulfil. Passengers who use your construction sites as a pathway to evade security and brick everything; the game is full of these little annoyances that can be worked around in some way but dent your fun in the process.
-Bugs: none of the bugs are game breaking but there's quite a few. The most annoying with the game is that you're never sure if you can't build X object because of a bug.... or because of an obscure mechanic that hasn't properly been explained. Most of the time it could be either.....
Ladies and Gentlemen, we have arrived at our destination
After hearing me dissing this game for the last 3 paragraphs, you'd be surprised at the thumbs up.
Truth is this is closest to a "meeh" recommendation as it gets, but none of the bugs or annoyances encountered were truly game breaking, and in the end I had a good 20-30hrs of gameplay, part of which was afk grinding, but part of which at least was quite fun.
It feels the game could have been something bigger, something more polished, something exciting. Instead it's just your typical endless queue for Security at JFK airport. Slow and tedious, but at least you are going somewhere!
Great simulator!
SimAirport is a surprisingly addictive airport management simulation that strikes a great balance between complexity and accessibility. The game places you in charge of designing and managing your own airport, from laying out terminals to scheduling flights and keeping passengers happy. Its intuitive interface and helpful tutorials make building and expanding your airport rewarding rather than overwhelming. The learning curve is gentle enough for newcomers while still offering depth for simulation veterans.
One of the most enjoyable aspects is the vast selection of workshop items. Steam Workshop integration provides countless mods that enhance gameplay and customization. Whether you want to add realistic airport features or get creative with unique modifications, there’s no shortage of options to keep the experience fresh. SimAirport’s functional art style keeps everything clear and readable, making airport management straightforward and satisfying. If you’ve ever dreamed of running a world-class airport—or just want a fun, mod-friendly management sim—you won’t be disappointed.
Special thanks to OpenAI for cleaning up my review.
Fun Chill game
It's very good for aviation fans and tycoon enjoyers. There are also many easy-to-install mods that improve the game.
very goood
very good, some parts make you angry
its cool but hard to master
Awesome game, very logistics. I recommend it.
Bought it when it came out hoping to see development. Its been nearly 5 years they throw in a random update to check in every year otherwise I doubt they have given it a look, no game play updates nothing. The basics for a great game are their but unfortunately another game falls to a bad developer.
Really nice game, kinda gets repetitive after some time
Super buggy, lacking any real gameplay loop or challenege
Basic builder Sim. Either start off with an airport you need to build runway/s for and organize flights (beginners/ casual mode) or start from scratch (hard mode). As you build and try to grow you find customer needs and wants that need to be address as well as growing some areas such as baggage handling and or security.
Can take time to get use to as a beginner but stick to it and you'll learn to love or hate the game.
yes
Such a nice little Airport sim
butface
its ok now
Addicting
Good building airport game. Lots of content. Pretty expensive, wait for discount. 4,5/5
+ Lots of fan-made liveries for the airplane and other ready-made airports if you like them more ;)
fun
I fun and simple game with lots of fun little things to learn
This is a great game once you get familiar with it.
It runs good and is fun to see what you can build and keep it going.
There are however a few glitches with roads underground.
And one thing game should but dos not is the ability to make a sky walk which really sucks.
Also fuel lines and conveyor belts should be able to cross each other which they dont allow.
lots of ways to play
very good
very good game for the money.
