В будущем человечество достигло небывалого уровня технического прогресса благодаря разработке искусственного интеллекта. Он повлиял на все аспекты жизни людей, навсегда изменив их жизненный уклад. Благодаря созданию тахионных двигателей стали возможны путешествия в глубокий космос и колонизация других миров. С целью объединения всего человечества, расселившегося по Галактике, было создано единое правительство — Земная Федерация.
Главный герой — пилот боевого звездолета, который попадает в центр конфликта Земной Федерации и тоталитарных Культистов.

I am 32 years old.
My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old.
When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing.
Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side.
With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of you. In fact, I may have played this game for only a day or two. That being said, after doing so, I had a new joy and hope for life. I managed to leave behind the pain and suffering that had been thrust upon me. I could experience the joy and happiness of other people. I relaxed for 5 ♥♥♥♥ minutes listening to this music, long enough to realize that I would be okay.
After realizing this, I turned off the game and went back to work. My hand hurt a lot, but I was motivated. I stopped feeling so sorry for myself and became the father I needed to be at that moment, not the weak boy I was behaving like.
Today, I am close friends with the mother of my children. We don't fight, argue, or say hurtful things to each other. We are parents and friends.
Now I have 3 children. My third child is, wait, ALSO 4 YEARS OLD. The woman I am with was going through a very similar situation at the time of my separation, and we just unexpectedly stumbled into each other's lives. We have been dating for a year and are very happy together.
Moral of the story: you never know what life has in store for you, and if I had given up when all odds were against me, I wouldn't be where I am today. This silly little game helped me realize that.

This game has quite a few bugs in it (it is a beta) but many of these can be worked around. Overall it was enjoyable. However; I got to what I assumed was the, 'end boss' of the game just to hit a bug that would not ever allow me to finish the game (even after restarting the game). At this point I doubt anyone is going to pick this game up to finish coding it so hence my negative recommendation.
Buggy beta version advertised as a complete game.
Though it is supposedly unfinished, it still remains a nice little gem for just a single dollar! Diablo-like items spawn from enemies defeated and new abilities for the ship are unlocked as experience is gained. The graphics are beautiful, scenario is right there to inspire interest in the game's world and the initial voice acting isn't a bad touch either! Excellent work despite its state, by my opinion!

Looks like they have just put it on full release as it is to try and get every little bit of cash they can from an abandoned project.
I did love the concept as well, bit of a shame it will never be finished.
Unfinished game suddenly released at 1.0 version after months of no updates. COOL! It had potential too.

Honestly, this game exceeds my expectations! The game is totally worth the cost and here's why I think why:
*The controls are very simple and are easy to use
*art style is very nice and makes you wanna keep going
*Great performance! I played it on my laptop and had 0 problems.
*Since there are different classes you can have a different play style each time.
Of course, there are issues with the game like every other game. Some of them are:
*Enemies aren't really difficult
*repetitive
These are just some of the major ones that I encountered. There are more I'm sure but they will probably fix them in the near future.
This game is really worth the $10 if you are just looking for something different to play and complete in a short amount of time.
Background moves at a different rate than the ships. this makes it very un-intuitive and pretty much ruins the whole experience for me.
So far this game is very fun and has a lot of room to grow. The gameplay is addicting and exciting. I look forward to crafting being implemented and roles being expanded.
Origin Space is a great game with there new update im playing a lvl 46 scout on ace and its really fun love building my ship with drops and skills trying out what works and what dosent lol the update made the game so fun with daredevil lvls of difficulty to keep you blasting for countless hrs and game is still incomplete I havent had this mutch fun since diablo 2 to the people that are working on this game im in love lol def worth the 10 bucks all day
What I noticed at first was the beautiful art on the introduction. Even though the narration is rather bland, the story is interesting and well thought out. For an Early Access game, it is already great: nice visuals, good plot, smooth controllers, class selection, different difficulty levels and overall, an intuitive gameplay.
I hope the devs continue to expand this game, it was a nice addition to my library, especially for its price point!
So far I really like this game. Still very early access, but playable and I've still spent hours flying around and blowing stuff up. Developers have a lot planned, with placeholders still all around the game, but the mechanics are pretty solid. Hopefully they work on making the game much MUCH harder, but otherwise I can wait for incremental updates and features.
Pros: Loot, special powers, loot. Stuff goes boom! Pretty graphics. Loot. Did I mention boom? BOOM!
Cons: Stupid easy - I'm not sure I can die. Expected early access type bugs.
I really like space themed games. And it was fun to play this game. There are beautiful backgrounds, spaceships and cool animation.
I would totally play the finished version, hope that it will arrive soon!

We can feel the earlyaccessness of the game, it's obiously not finished but it's very encouraging on every points.

I beat the game after 8.5 hours using the scout class.
I played on the highest difficulty (Ace) out of 4.
TL:DR
-It's well worth $10 especially if they are adding more content and tweaking what is already there.
Pros:
-Great ship controls, the overall gameplay mechanics feel very solid.
-Multiple classes with different playstyles.
-Solid graphics and artstyle to match what the game is going for.
-Great performance on my rig (CPU: FX-8320 ; GPU: gtx 1070) -100fps-
-Great loot system, that can only get better with future updates.
Cons:
-Loot doesn't despawn, causing massive framerate drops after extended play (reloading fixes the issue, it's not that big a problem)
-The enemies are the simplest of AI and pose no challenge.
-Highest difficulty has no difference from normal (You will one shot everything, even the final boss)
-I never went under 100% health.
-The questing is incredibly repetitive (the same exact quests over and over).
Misc:
-The story isn't so much bad as it is simple, which I have no issue with given that there were more set pieces and more of an actual campaign.(currently the story quests are no different than side quests)
-There is no crafting in the game yet, yet it lets you upgrade your crafting areas to max (just wasting money)
-The store page says there are set items in the game, I have yet to find one.
-The looting all boils down to how much precision you have (it's the only stat that changes damage for the most part)
All things said, I genuinely enjoyed the game and am happy to have come across it.
I recommend it to anyone who enjoy ARPG titles such as Diablo or want a simple space sim that will let them turn their mind off for a bit.
Honestly at $10, you won't get a better game.
Most of the issues I have will probably be patched in the following weeks. So stay tuned for an updated version.
Hey ARPG fans - this is a great little game that I just started playing as it released today. I have tried most all of the space basde ARPG/shmup games on Steam, and this one is easily the best of the lot. It has really fluid controls, a nice galaxy exploration system, questing that is not obtrusive and moves the game forward smoothly, leveling that is not too grindy, tons of loot to find and upgrade, a solid skill system, ship customization, a mothership (town area) for crafting, sellling, buying etc.
Overall, there is a ton packed into this indie game, and it is well worth the price of entry. I will report back with more details later, but for now, I recommend giving it a try if you like ARPG and space games.
