В Heat Guardian вам предстоить научиться выживать. Ваши противники смертельно опасны, а ресурсы ограничены. Более того, главного врага избежать невозможно. Он в воздухе, которым вы дышите. Холод властвует над миром, потому жить – значит думать о тепле. А забыть о нем – это верная смерть.

Wish I could say something nice about this game but there is simply none, it just sucks. There is better flash games than this indieslop for free.
This game is the best birds-eye view game i've ever played. The player controller and gun play is so smooth. The visuals and sound are also great and there's tons of sweet guns to use.
Good stuff
People who complain its hard clearly can't play games, and expect everything to be handled to them. Maybe go back to fortnite or hentai puzzles, as someone mentioned. Game is a wonder for something made by such small developer, its very atmospheric, gunplay is engaging and challenging, and depending on your weapon equipment, it can brutally teach you how to plan ahead, or take you to a walk to the park. Some levels can be beaten with a knife alone if you are patient, and all the ammo will help you next mission.
There are few bugs, but nothing restarting chapter (they're short) wont help. I like to come back to this every few months just to run n gun through campaign, and 10bucks is a steal.
So far really like the atmosphere of the game, and i'm enjoying the challenge.
DO NOT BUY THIS GAME. EVEN ON SALE.
I payed very little and still feel ripped off. And this coming from a guy who buys the hentai pic puzzle games, in terms of taste in games I am a raccoon, since I consume and am happy with an unhealthy amount of trash, and I mean UTTER TRASH GAMES, even those, I am happy with. This game, I feel is a famous "Take the money and Run" scenario. You simply cannot play the game. UNPLAYABLE.
For me when you start the game you need to pick up a weapon on a table. This is where NO key on the keyboard or mouse will let you pick the weapon up. So you really can not play the game. Game thinks you have an Xbox controller plugged in, when you do not, and there is absolutely nothing you can do. The game has no way to rebind anything as well. Seems this bug has been around for more than a year according to the discussions. Just inexcusable to have something like this on the discussion boards here on steam, for more than a year and nothing was done, there was not even the complementary cookie cutter answer saying they are working on it. I feel this is abandon-ware by this point. So do not purchase. Even on sale.

Good gameplay. If this game was made by one man, pffff, this is gorgeous, keep go on! Nice setting, some kind metro and frostpunk. Recommended!
This game is okay
That's honestly all i can think of to evaluate it. This game is brutally hard, but where with most games their brutal difficulty is or isn't justified, this game feels like it switches between fair and unfair hard with every goon or monster you fight. Similarly, the art style is simultaniously amazing and awful.
Buy it on special and play it for a couple hours

I may not play this game everyday now but this game holds a dear and special place in my heart.

Cool vibe and nice English Rusish
Heat Guardian is a nice top-down shooter that looks extremely nice.
I really loved the atmosphere of the cold dark winter, that tries to kill main character with the cold while he is shooting monsters. The gameplay is not very fast and it was a good surprise for me - I'm not a fan of mashing the buttons. Also the game is pretty easy to play and "surviving" is not a big deal in here - it makes Heat Guardian a nice game to relax and to dream about winter during hot summer.
Atmosphere of Stalker, Metro and Fallout packed together. Good things end there.
The story. It might as well not have one.
A wide variety of weapons, I praise the metrolike weapons, like the "Air Pistol" basically Tihar, the pistol infinite ammo version. Now things like vector and other end of the line modern time weapons, they don't really fit in.
The game plays like Metro you'll enter one area after the other and face off a pack of human or mutant enemies.
There is stealth in the game, poorly realised like all things but it's there and that's probably the most fun you'll have.
Remember I said Air Pistol has infinite ammo? Well it's not supposed to, you'll find a very limited amount of ammo for it and the thing 1 shots most enemies but somehow you'll always have max ammo for it. Uzi is not usable as the code isn't even finished for it.
For some reason the game at times would decide that I should die and start over while at full hp if hit during the last few levels. Which I might add were long ass levels and threw a stupid amount of enemies at you with your every step.
The shooting system is reminiscent of stalker as in you're not gonna hit every shot and I like that, the problem is, for a lot of weapons you'll never hit a shot 2 feet in front of you. So melee enemies... yeah you're dead son.
The biggest problem by far is that the game has a huge memory leak issue and I was able to play it 5 minutes at a time as it'll gradually go from 140fps to none.
I went to the forums to see what's up with that and found that the developer has promised to fix all the bugs. That was shortly after the game came out. As far as I know the game had only one patch and judging by the feedback it only made things worse.
Nailed the atmosphere. facking hated everything else.
All sound assets are ripped straight from S.T.A.L.K.E.R and I am not complaining.

the game just locks in 20 fps and its not what i really expected
A nice little game. It's more annoying than hard though, but it's definitely impressive for a one man.
Heat Guardian
It looks like a cool top down survival shooter in a great atmospheric environment - but i recommend steering clear of this title for the moment : there are no graphical settings to change , no 21:9 support , no v-sync ( screen tearing ) options !
