Honestly its exactly what it says it is, the problem is that it's just boring.
This man is just a demon. He loves to mock the souls of all people/players. But despite everything, the game is interesting and confusing at the same time.
P.S. "I love puffins!"; "Dead end. Dead end again. Go to hell, this is the way out!"

"Escape the Mazes" is a maze game that beckons players with the promise of 25 levels of labyrinthine challenges plus a tantalizing bonus level. While it starts with promise, this game ultimately falls short of delivering an engaging and varied experience.
At first glance, "Escape the Mazes" appears to be a straightforward maze navigation game. The initial levels serve as a gentle introduction to the mechanics, featuring responsive controls and a relatively low level of difficulty. However, this early promise is short-lived as players venture further into the game.
The most glaring issue with "Escape the Mazes" is the lack of increasing difficulty. While the levels do get larger as you progress, this doesn't equate to heightened challenges or complexity. Instead, it leads to a sense of monotony and repetition, making it feel like more of a time-consuming slog than an exciting journey through increasingly tricky mazes.
One significant drawback is the absence of action or unique gameplay elements. "Escape the Mazes" fails to inject any variety or innovation into the gameplay. This results in a rather mundane experience where players are left with the impression that they are merely going through the motions.
Level 24 deserves special mention due to its particularly lackluster design. It appears as though it was hastily constructed with simplistic graphics that wouldn't look out of place in a basic paint program. This abrupt drop in quality disrupts the overall flow of the game and feels like an unwelcome departure from the earlier levels.
The addition of a bonus level is a commendable effort to add some excitement, but unfortunately, it falls flat. Like the rest of the game, the bonus level lacks the creativity and variety needed to rekindle players' interest.
In conclusion, "Escape the Mazes" doesn't live up to its potential as an engaging maze game. Simple game but fun if you like mazes. Some of the music scores are nice to listen to, however also quickly repetitive.
This is the kind of game first year CS student makes for a project. Considering the most basic controls, bland textures, no powerups or any other kind of abilities, at my school it would likely only earn the lowest grade too. Unless you are buying this for steam trading cards, I would recommend you to search internet for free web game instead.

Everything is in a very basic, crude state and the music is very repetitive and grating. Assets are copy pasted in a sloppy fashion. Massive difficulty spike for the last few mazes, especially the godawful final bonus stage. The only possibly slight redeeming quality is that the victory "Yee-haw" sound effect is kind of amusing.
1/10 Would only recommend as a torture method or if you crave nothing but running around in gargantuan empty mazes.
Not bad, please add volume control, the music was too loud and wasd option instead of just arrow keys would be nice but not needed (im a lefty). I just finished all the mazes so not too difficult, a sandbox to create and post custom mazes would be fun but not neccessary. I tried this game out because I got a discount from crafting a badge, all in all not bad.
Wow. This game is a-MAZE-ing.....wah hahahahahhahahahaha... No seriously, please, come and rescue me. I'm lost. Just turn right, right, then left then right again, then right, left.... wait, was it left or right. To weak.... thirsty....can't m o v e.... h e l p...
For best results, use your memory. I'm not sure, but there is a hidden connection between the letter F and the right path. It took me about 4 hours to complete all the steps.
This game is short but can be fun for some people!
This is more than just a game. Every level has a completely unique design and music, along with the most compelling story I've ever seen in game, media, or movie. We follow the tale of our mysterious nameless protagonist and his quest to conquer the labyrinth he finds himself in. Sporting beautiful graphics and an amazing price, this is the best game I've ever played. I plan on adding to this review as I play the game more.
Nice game, but frustrating when you get stuck xD
There are no guides for any of the levels (except for the secret level, which has a great guide - kudos to the author of that thread), so you're on your own. Took me about 2 hrs to finish the whole game - and no, I did not finish it in 1 sitting because I got frustrated in level 22 as I found no paths to the end whatsoever. So I took a few days' break and voila, found the exit within 5 mins ;D
Good for achievement hunters.
I liked the fact that in this maze game you don't see the whole maze.
At first, the wide corridors seemed a bit weird but I got used to it.
The graphics are really monotone. Maybe they should have added some debris, damaged walls or other stuff to make it less boring and to be able to use as a landmark.
The bonus maze seemed ridiculously big in comparison with the other ones. I solved it by using the hand method (I used left one). It took a while.
They say ‘more than 10 hours of playtime’ but I used three. But I guess you won’t remember them all replaying it after a while.
I cannot say I had the most fun in my life but I didn’t feel any frustration at any moment either.
Good for achievment and card hunters.
Do you love mazes from the bottom of your heart? Do you think everything else is a waste of space? If your answer to either question is anything but a resounding "yes", do not touch this game. The only notable thing in this game is that the music makes you feel like you're playing a mobile game designed to scam small children and their parents. Everything else is amazing but without the first letter. If there really is 10 hours of content, the last few levels must be pure torture, as I completed the first 18 levels in 40 minutes total.
There's one exception to the above, though. If you like swastikas, you're in for a treat: the number of swastikas in these mazes almost made me into a Nazi.
I bought this game on sale for $1.50 after completing some badges. It's not a game I would normally buy, but I do enjoy mazes and even if it sucked it was only a buck fifty. Depending on how fast you can complete the mazes you can finish all 26 within an hour or two, so take that into consideration. The mazes do get larger and harder the further you go, but so far I've done 23 of them without much trouble. The biggest cons to me are the fact you have to use the arrow keys on your keyboard to move your character and the music is loud and annoying. I wish you could set the options to allow you to use the WASD keys or your mouse to move and to have volume control for the music. I would recommend buying it on sale, but if you really enjoy mazes this game could be for you.
Super easy to play, I enjoyed it for maybe the first few mazes and then it just got repetitive. However, the bonus level was quite a challenge and I loved that part. This game is also really easy to farm off achievements if anyone is looking to farm for achievements.
Though it only took me a few hours to fully complete, it is still a fun game to play if you get bored! I recommend this game to people who likes puzzles and don't get mad easily!
A crude JRPG Dungeon ripoff without its NPCs, equipments nor encounters.
Dull, boring and lack of innovative in an escape labryinth puzzle.
Start top center, ends bottom center.
Stuttering and occasional lag at certain parts of maze.
Collision with walls edges are coarse.
Awkward background musics and
exit stage effect, of what see,s like a sorcerer.
Easily switched off after 'every' stage as sound gets turned on again,
till I decided to turn Windows Sound off for the particular game.
Game Category - Junk.
This is an ok game for what it is. You have to escape the mazes by finding the correct way out nothing more to say then that. so if your interested buy it. otherwise find something else.
The mazes are pretty good. Like the way it was made, reminded me of old Zelda games kinda.
Took me 2.1hrs to complete all mazes including the bonus maze.
I like that you can't see all of the maze as I am always able to look over the entire maze and figure them out first. Fun for the price.
A nice relaxing stroll through mazes. Beginning levels start off easy. Later levels are really only hard because you can't see the whole maze layout, so it's hard to map out any real path. Have to keep track of where you've scouted out on.
Fun game, simple idea, simple graphics. The music changes on each level. If you like mazes you will enjoy this game. There is no fighting, no conflict, just a challange to your memory and sense of virtual directions. The mazes become progressively larger and more complex. At level eight, I am averaging a minute per maze, I am looking forward to the "Impossible Maze".
The developer definately has a sense of humour.
Well worth a few dollars.
