Very good game with a lot of passion. Every item is unique and pair well with each other to create a great experience.
At first, I found the difficulty level quite steep, but it didn’t take long to get the hang of it. Once I get used to the mechanics, the game becomes incredibly satisfying to play. Using a gamepad makes the experience much smoother and more enjoyable. I’ve come across several places I still haven’t figured out how to access but that’s all fun.

Yeah, I'm new to this game, I buy it in Winter Sale when it sale for 50% , I Have seen this game before so I decide to buy it, and wow It's so good, I think it is the best Roguelike games I have played, I love the pixel art ,smooth animation and great combat gameplay of this game. can't stop playing this game LOL

This game is a fast paced, high octane 80's and 90's style metroidvania game. it seems like there is always something new within the game, and the game rewards your persistence. It also is a short love note to video games in general - easy to recommend
Very fun game but it is super grindy so if your looking for a game to play for a little while then this is it
The combat feels amazing, the movement is incredible, and the gameplay loop is perfect. The only possible negative thing I can say about Dead Cells is that it can be frustrating when you die really far into a level.
10/10 so fun I can’t help but go back when I’m idling between games. Combat is simple in the way that you can only do so much with the 4 items & necklace you can have at any given time.
The progression means so much in this game, once you unlock a new skill it refreshes the next run making this game feel fresh nearly every new dive. I don’t typically enjoy side scrollers but I am hooked on this game.
The collaborations are seamless and well integrated.
Art/graphics are wonderful. I play on the steam deck and it feels like it’s made for it.
An absolutely wonderful experience I can’t believe I waited so long to pick this title up.

Such an underrated rouge-lite, it deserves so much more love and attention than it gets.
Hard but really, really fun. Battle, die, learn, repeat. lots of different bad guy types tons of weapons, costumes and mix and match heads. will take forever to get it all and "beat" the game and then you will play it some more lol, 8 outta 10.
A bit expensive i think for most people (and me) so i suggest buying it at a discount. other than that a very good indie game.

I really wanna love this game, and I honestly do not know why I don't! I get tired of it so fast, and its not like I just do not enjoy roguelikes because I love ETG, Hades, Inscryption, Risk of Rain, and much more. I think this is a quality game aside from my opinion, but it never pulled me in like other roguelikes I've fallen in love with in the past.

Each run feels unique enough, but i feel like brutality is too strong (or maybe I havent experimented with tactics and survival enough)

Pace is key and I don't know how to keep tempo.
Beautifully done rogue like platformer, The fluidity between combat, skills, forgery, and repetition of mastering an idea of what a level could look like and what you should be veering towards when trying to beat it was done really well here. No real hand holding and scaling that happens fast. Wish there was a little more variation but, I'm not that deep yet. Beautifully designed art.

I love how this game progresses. I feel powerful, thrilled, humbled, excited, frustrated, and I just love it. I particularly love that the game was made not by a group of capitalist pigs exploiting workers, but rather the workers themselves own the process and the profits!
the definitive roguelike dark souls esque experience. run to the end with countless weapon and item combinations, and face many unique foes with precise but satisfying combat. highly recommended.

Depois de entender um básico sobre as mutações, os itens, os affixes e como como eles se complementam para formar as builds, progredi muito bem e consegui realmente explorar o jogo.
Difícil na medida certa! Inclusive, o modo easy ou hard do jogo depende da sua build, basicamente. Adoro usar combinações malucas e me desafiar. Essas combinações são bem amplas e se adaptam muito bem ao estilo de jogo, dependendo do gosto e capacidades de cada jogador, por exemplo.
O re-jogo é ótimo. Mesmo tento finalizado o jogo muitas vezes, continua sendo muito divertido entrar nele e relaxar com builds mais simples ou que já tenho alguma masterização ou tentar uma nova combinação e ficar morrendo muitas vezes até me adaptar e conseguir vê-la em ação.
Um jogo exemplar para toda a indústria.

Pros:
- Extremely fluid movement. Not the kind of movement that seems fluid in gameplay videos but is encumbered by needless animations in real gameplay.
- Long playtime, easily 300-500 hours with all the DLCs.
- Good variety in weapons and bosses.
- Lots of crossover items and references to other games.
- Decent artstyle, good animations.
- Very replayable due to custom mode.
Cons:
- Game feels like an early access demo (content-wise) without all the DLCs. Fortunately DLCs aren't super expensive, you can get the game + 3 DLCs for $7 on sale.
- Because of the lots of crossover items game doesn't really have an identity of its own.
- Half-baked story.
- Will never receive more content in future (bar bug fixes).
This is definitely my favorite rouge like game ever no matter how much good loot i lose i still keep playing so devs had to have put drugs in it
fun fast colorful funny and cheery with dark themes
A game full of content and a rewarding gameplay loop. It feels like a dark souls platformer that is focused on interesting combat playstyles rather than creating difficult maps to navigate through. The enemies eventually start to feel like fuel to move through the maps faster. It is a great feeling.
Mixed feelings on this one, owned it for a long time, watched BaerTaffy play it in beta, but the game feels half finished if you don't own the DLC, and that sucks a lot.
Its a good base game, I wouldn't pay pull price for it again.
Un banger!!! Meilleur rogue-lite jamais créé!!!!! Tout y est, on peut pas s'ennuyer quand on à ça dans notre bibliothèque. Le rythme du jeu est légendaire, on pourrait croire que c'est répétitif mais la map change aléatoirement à chaque run! En plus, il y a de temps en temps des endroits spéciaux comme le banc d'Hollow Knight qui vous offre l'éguillion, ou même la batte de baseball avec la doloréane de retour vers le futur, ou encore le sceptre du roi de shovel knight king of cards!!! Et j'en passe, chaque arme à sa manière de frapper son animation et même sa mécanique! Il y en a pour tout les goûts, avec 3 types d'arme: les corps à corps, les distances et les boucliers. Ensuite il y a également des gadgets géniaux compe des grenades surpuissantes, des pièges, ou même encore des familiers, et moi qui d'habitude n'aime pas les familiers, là, je suis comblé!! Mon préféré est l'épée, elle vole à coté de toi et attaque les ennemis, et en plus elle te parle! Tu peux même l'utiliser comme deuxième arme (foule d'égats) ...je suis trop addicte... Et ensuite les boss, AAAHHHHH les BOSS! Premier coups, surpuissant, impossible de les battre du premier essai, moi, rien que pour le concierge (premier boss, il m'a fallut au moins 5 runs!! Et surtout n'hésitez pas à les battres plusieurs fois, car il m'a drope son armure!! Parce que OUI! Il y a également 1 miliard de tenues et de coiffures!! Même des tenues venant d'autres jeu, comme celle de shvel knight!! (Le gars en bleu). Inutile de vous dire que j'ai acheté tous les dlc... Et le dlc collab Castlevania!!!! Je devrais peut-être écrire un livre... Le niveau Castlevania est juste démant!! On fait équipe avec Alucard et avec Belmond. Tellement fidèle à la saga!! On s'y croirait. Enfin voilà, il y a énormément de choses à dire sur ce jeu et je n'en ai même pas spoilers 1%. Je vais m'arrêter là pour ne pas trop vous spoilers. Bonne chance aventuriers!!!

This is the best Action Roguelike I ever played after Hades. It combines procedurally generated levels with challenging combat and rewarding exploration. The story is minimal, but the gameplay more than makes up for it, creating an addictive loop of dying, learning, and improving.
Gameplay: 10/10
Dead Cells fluid and responsive combat with featuring various weapons, skills, and power-ups in the fray. Its difficulty is quite high yet fair. Its nature as a roguelike keeps each run fresh even though the punishing difficulty won't appeal to everyone. Parry system in this game is well made, its actually so much satisfying to parry like Sekiro.
Graphics: 8/10
The pixel art is quite amazing, with rich colors and detailed animations. Environments are diverse and atmospheric. This style complements the game's fast pace. Don't really care about graphics actually. Loved the artstyle!!
Sound & Music: (9/10)
The soundtrack is dynamic and immersive, making the game even more intense. From eerie ambient tracks to high-energy battle themes, the music keeps you engaged. The sound effects, like weapon clashes and enemy growls, are crisp and satisfying.
Replayability: (10/10)
Dead Cells is an exemplary game in terms of replayability, thanks to its procedural generation and variety of combat options. Every run feels different, and the progression system offers meaningful upgrades that encourages you to keep coming back. Dungeon generation is actually random always making this game more interesting to play again and again.
Dead Cells is a must-play for fans of challenging action games and roguelikes. Its fast-paced gameplay, beautiful art, and high replay value make it an indie gem.

It is a complete and utter shame that Motion Twin has pulled the plug on development for this game. I've been playing Dead Cells on-and-off since it was in Early Access and every time I come back to it, I get sucked in for weeks trying to progress into higher difficulties. The weapon and skill variety is incredible, the powerful combinations between them are plentiful, and the moment-to-moment gameplay is so snappy that I often find myself trying to play efficiently to get style points like a Devil May Cry game, despite no such feature existing in Dead Cells. The music is top-notch, every frame of gameplay looks like genuine pixel art, and the story is great without subtracting from the gameplay.
The base game is a complete product, worth far more than its asking price, so if you're interested in playing, I suggest starting with that. Then if you find that you like the game, buy and play with each DLC in chronological release order.
The only criticism I have for Dead Cells is that the dev team, Evil Empire, was told to stop development on it in the wake of Motion Twin's next game, Windblown. Everything else culminates in this game being one of the few indie games that are an example of Early Access done right.
Aesthetically and gameplay wise, Dead Cells is a solid to very good rogue-like, metroidvania-style game.
However, there is no real sense of progression or story, no real worldbuilding or "sense of wonder" in the world (see Hollow Knight) and way too many "funny" references to many other games in this genre that get old very quickly and add very little to the game.
The thing that bothers me the most about this game however, is the constant "dead ends" you run into that very blatantly tell you "Buy this DLC to go further!". This is frustrating, makes me feel pressured to invest more money and all-in-all gives the game a feeling of being unfinished.
A fun metroidvania style game. Can be addicting because it is challenging and each play through can be quite unique.
This game has lots of content and lots of surprises. Seriously the amount of replayability is insane. I love the hack and slash mechanics and wide range of weapons, abilities combined with platforming made a perfect rogue like game for me
The game has very good mechanics and fighting style, I Died by the bosses a couple times but it's not the hardest. You do have to grind a little bit only for upgrades but overall this game is great, it never gets boring and every time u die the layout changes and it's always different. When you beat the final boss there's still more to go because you have to get 5 Boss stem cells. The game has a lot of good weapons and maps.

One of the best single player roguelike games out there. Can be quite unforgiving until you get the hang of the controls, builds, etc.
Woow fun game but kinda hard. Very nice graphics and movement feels fluid. Haven't beaten yet because of skill issue but some weapons are really fun to use. DLC's are fun, the weapons they add are cool and the stages are more difficult than regular ones.
Its fun a little repetitive but still fun I get that being repetitive is kinda the point but it's a lil much.

Good game fast pace game with lots of actions, lots of weapons and abilities, great refrences to stuff like hot line miami and they have some of the best bosses like seriously one of the best rogue-likes in my opinion up there with hades.

This game is one of my favorites to put on in the background when I'm having a chat with some friends. The perfect amount of stimulation where not focusing can get you killed, but still not demanding enough that you can kind of just enter a flow state
