For the price you're getting a really fun game here. Older style graphics remind me of the more classic MMO's. Combat is a lot of fun.

DoS is a fun Dungeon Crawler.

The game has well done levels and lengths to them. I like how some felt long to give you that real dive and others were a bit shorter for the quick runs. The cool part is that this game has great replay value. How? They have the levels have different difficulties which makes it more interesting and of the loot lol, also the game has co-op so you can play with friends and randos. The combat is solid. I have tried 2 classes so far and the skills for each are unique and beneficial in different ways, which is awesome to me.

Neat little dungeon crawler that tests my patience. I only paid a couple bucks for it so I can't complain at all. Very simple hack and slash with a few puzzles to navigate through the dungeons.

This game was a lot of fun. It dose have its moments, but over all good game play. Give it a try, but beware it takes time to get to the Final Boss.

It's dead. Not gonna see anything major from the game maybe for the rest of the time its servers are up. But for a dungeon crawler i did have enough fun on it and you can play it with friends. It is very repetitive as far as the fighting goes but it does have some cool customizations. Plus its kind of like a looter shooter where you are constantly finding upgrades. 6/10

Good dungeon crawler game with a good class system, fun abilities, and generally good gameplay. Overall it's a bit repetitive and the dungeons last way too long but still worth trying out when on sale. 6/10

Game is extremely fun. I'll admit I likely would not have bought had it not been on sale for under $3, but not that I have played it, I feel people are sleeping on this game. Even if the Devs have abandoned the game, it is still extremely fun. Basically it is Vermintide meets Gauntlet, at least that is how I view it. Very fun game.

Feels a bit yanky, but for (below) 3 euro's it's absolutely worth it! I played it solo so far, but I imagine it's more fun with friends.

What I didn't realise at first that you don't have to complete these (huge) dungeons in one go. After a checkpoint you can continue where you left off it seems.

Good fun combat game similar to the first Dungeon Siege but with better graphics. I'm playing in 2025 and it seems the bugs from 2023-24 have been fixed since mine works fine. Mostly linear dungeons, so you have to pay attention but not think too hard. The dungeons get better as they go.

Intuitive interface but beware some odd choices like a question mark above a mob's head doesn't mean they want to talk - it means they are confused after you knocked them in the head.

Friendly approach to players - doesn't penalize you when you teleport to town or even when you die, you just return to your previous checkpoint. Worth up to $10 I would say. If you can get it for under $5, don't even hesitate - grab it.

fun game. not everything needs to be like darksouls to be fun. if you want to try a little bit of Wow game play in a dungeon crawler, then you will be pleased.

Pure hack n slash but great fun even in single player. Graphics are adequate voiceovers are great although they are just soundbites. It's a loot gatherer that should really be played in co-op....someone come join me. Game costs a pittance even at full price and is currently 75% off ...like £2!

If you're looking for something to scratch the itch for a Diablo and MMO mash-up, then this might very well be something to look into. That being said, it's not perfect, but has the potential to be great.

Some cons if you're looking for any potential issues:

The camera will often bug out when enemies crowd around you, or if one single enemy tries to occupy the same space as you. Annoying, but you can work around it.

The voiceover for the townsfolk is fine, but it gets annoying have the same line read to you for a third time in ten seconds.

Dodging doesn't work as well as it could, with many attacks and mechanics still connecting when they likely shouldn't have. In that same vein, movement gets wonky around large enemies, with some attacks carrying you up off the ground and straight to the enemy's center. The Karg boss fight is a notable example of this.

The game expects you to have a party, rather than be a solo adventurer. While the game itself is indeed playable solo, there are tons of mechanics that would be better managed with the help of others.

The dungeons in this game can be VERY long. While you can leave, it might take you a couple of hours of STRAIGHT play in order to finish a dungeon.

For the price as of this review (less than $3), it's worth picking up. Even at full price, if you have friends to play with, it's still worth picking up. Bonus points for working (kinda sorta okay) on the Deck.

As of this post - it seems the general consensus is that the devs have abandoned the game and it's discord.
The game has good bones for a game grabbed on sale for $2.50.
Reminds me a lot of playing diablo 3 at launch. Crazy overpowered encounters on the high end maps requiring you to stick and dodge stick and dodge if you don't want to insta die on nightmare.
Had it for roughly two weeks, went through all the storyline on nightmare with a group of four friends and def got my $2.50 out of it. I randomly picked rogue to play with them and seems to have been the best choice as it's farming ability is uncanny with stealth at level 1 and being able to run around in nightmare on ragewind looting the chests was fun.
Game has lots of flaws that you'd hope the devs would be around to fix/tune but they are awol. Not the best game and I've certainly played much worse.

I cannot express how much annoying jumping required levels take away from a game that does not need them. Nothing breaks immersion more than breaking up fun fight sequences just to spend half an hour trying to jump on a log sticking out from a platform and dying over and over.
Please devs everywhere, do not do this unless it is important for your game as a whole. Don't just throw in 'jump or die' for fun - its not.

This game is not as high speed as the newer AAA games, but it's simple and not any real micro managing og the character's skills

Simple game yet fun to play with friend, no story just punch punch, grind for better gear, and then go back punch punch again.

A nice DND setup. Very large dungeons and lots of mobs.

HELL YEAH! Trust me, you'll want to grab a copy of this. I feel like I have only scratched the surface at 17 hours but absolutely adore this game!! PLAY WITH A FRIEND --- up to 4 players in your group or play alone, whatever. STILL A GREAT TIME! I play a WIZARD and highly recommend this game!! Easy to pick up and play... Some of the dungeons are HUUUUUUUUGE! Different monsters and bosses --- loot and a lot of replayability!

Do yourself a favour and pick it up!

It's fun. A bit buggy, but nothing you can't manage (i.e. teleport to checkpoint if you're stuck). Has a real old school dungeon crawler feel to it that I enjoyed but it is starting to get old. I have to be in a reading kind of mood to really get the most out of it because the lore, although not super deep, is still quit enjoyable. I'd imagine it's what some of your early D&D games felt like sitting with friends around a table, come to life in a very PS1-PS2 style... let's call it PS1.5.

Can't remember what full price is for it and don't care to look it up but I got it on sale for like 3 bucks so I'd be quit the dick to complain about anything XD. Enjoy.

P.S. If you get it.. just be aware when you accept quests it lists them as "Completed" but it doesn't actually mean you've completed them... I think of it as a very lazy programmer term that they just forgot to revamp: If Player accepts quest mark quest accepted as true/completed}

I ALMOST refunded it immediately after all the quests I was accepting in the first five minutes were saying "COMPLETED!" I was all... "You sunabitch. Robbed me of 3 dollards! XD" Also there isn't a ton of support for like any of the more complicated questions you might have while playing... Like I found this damn lever in a secret room that I pulled and there was absolutely NOTHING on ANY forum or youtube, or whatsoever as to what it does. Also there's a door that says you need a certain key to get into and everything I was reading that was like 3 years old said that "you actually can't get into that room because it's not developed yet... maybe on the next patch" BUT then I've heard you get it from a certain boss, and then found some all russian video of someone getting through the door sooooo... hopefully it wasn't some mod to complete it... Guess I'll find out.

Combat has some getting used to. I think you can button mash and get away with it if you read your skills once and assigned them somewhere on your controller/keyboard. However I think you can actually bog down your attack queue doing that because I'd like right trigger a bunch of times and then press 'b' to do a skill I absolutely needed for a timing counter attack, and it didn't do it for until 5 seconds after, and in a lot of cases it just doesn't do it at all.

6.5/10 cuz I did enjoy it. What they did do it was a lot of fun. Trust me if you skip the reading... you'll only miss out on the story... which frankly without it, the game imo would be more like a 4/10. Keep that in mind you text skippers... because for me I'd just be grinding dungeons killing sprites with zero backstory and the gameplay isn't so good it'd make up for it. I'd get bored super fast. :P

I thought the barkeep lady was cute... and just as I thought it her eyes went super big and crazy... which is very accurate.... the cute ones are usually nuts.... and then another chick has the exact same face and she does the same look, but for her it's more understandable because she's seen battle.

There... if you read through all this and weren't annoyed about how much you read... you'll do just fine in this game.

It's all right. I like the animations but I wish you were forced to dodge or block enemy attacks. The game should be an action RPG but you play it like a MMO. Make enemies more interesting and interactive like in Dark Souls and you will have a very good game on your hands.

It's decent. A pretty simple game with a bunch of things to do.

There are some bugs, but there are also nice QOL features. So crashing or having to reload a bugged enemy isn't massive, you just have to return to an already existing run.

Max level is 20, so don't be intimidated by the massive levels.

This game is a really promising indie game. It has a lot of issues but honestly the issues in this game don't really matter too much once you actually get into the game. The main issues I have would have to be the animations and the camera, the animations feel really clunky at times and the camera clips onto everything (if you go into settings you can lower the amount of clipping the camera does but it still isn't that great) The gameplay loop consists of going into a dungeon, looting, killing and then progressing to the next. Once you have completed all the dungeons you can do it all over again but with harder enemies and better loot drops plus theres a second leveling system. May not seem that interesting going back through the dungeons but with how this game has done their dungeons you will want to go back (except the hollow that one sucks). They've got pretty interesting enemies that are dishonored by their animations and how clunky they can feel. Overall pretty promising game probably more fun with friends. I'm sure if you give it a bit of time this game will become even better than it is now. 8/10

If you're looking for a fun Dungeon Crawler to play with friends, this game is a blast! It has a grind to it, but my buddies and I enjoy the game loop. Got it on sale, but I think it's definitely worth the full price.

As far as I can tell, some of the negative reviews for this are insane. No, the camera doesn't get messed up in combat. No, the audio isn't terrible. And this is without a doubt worth fricking $2 as its on sale right now. Its a fun, classic, loot filled dungeon crawler with decent combat, good pacing, and fun bosses. Plus co-op works great. Its bare bones, and it feels like an older, less then polished indie game, but its fun.

This game is freaking awesome for a couple bucks. I can't believe I haven't heard of it before. W for the devs. It's like WoW without the subscription.

It seems like it should be good, but it just barely runs short. Doesn't run well, UI is VERY tiny on splitscreen, it's was too easy to accidentally hog all the loot and one of our characters got completely erased and replaced by an entirely different character, which ultimately made us refund the game.

It's a decent game. If you enjoy Dungeon Crawlers, you should give it a try. A little advice, don't be afraid to play on medium difficulty.

I recommend for under $5.
Combat is basically all there is to this title. I haven't played the co-op yet, but i'm sure it's fine, and is a better play than the single player game.
There is a base, you get to look at buildings and click them to do different things.
Then there is the 'world'. Um...basically the same, you look at screen of zone icons, and click on them to enter a "dungeon".
Once you click the zone, you start here, and end there.

Now that I explained the mechanincs of the single player game, i'd like to come back to "combat".
It's very simple, chase and click.
Loot sometimes.

There you go. That's the game.
I only recommend if under $5....(honestly, my life would be the same, if I never played this title).

This game is definitely rough around the edges but I really like what it's trying to do, and I think it beats the fun had to money paid ratio very easily. I've only begun to scratch the surface as I do need to jolly my friends on a bit to play it, but I've thoroughly enjoyed the time spent with it so far.

This is a truly fun and exciting indy dungeon crawler. The look is great and combat is truly top tier. Definitely would recommend this 10/10

Good coop dungeon crawler indeed.

As some people mentioned: Early zones are a bit old-ish looking.
They get progressively better and better and there are alot of zones to go through.
I was impressed by the graphics later on to the point where they rival modern games in their detail. Not joking, you will understand once you get to the Crystals in the Frozen cave.

I first got this game when it was in early access and let me tell you .... it was not good. but I was digging through my old games and let me tell you my investment paid off!!! it takes a bit but after 5 hours i was really getting into it. and having lots of fun fighting all the bosses.... and let me tell you they just don't stop! and they all have been different. at first it felt like i was just fighting over glorified minions but after you get to late level 4 going into 5 you will be ducking and dodging healing just trying to survive.

I will be frank with you this game is a little jank. it was made by a small team of people who just wanted to make a fun game. and it is VERY modestly priced at $10. i think it's better than most games twice the price. and couch co-op up to 4 people? Who does that? Gamers who make games for fun do that's who.

I don't expect much in updates. I am sure everyone moved on but it's a fun game. I can't wait to play with my friends I've been playing all day trying the classes

What a load of garbage

ONE OF THE WORST GAMES I HAVE EVER HAD THE MISFORTUNE OF PLAYING! HOW THE HELL DOES COMBAT LAG IN FUCKING SINGLE PLAYER!?!?!?

Picked this up on sale recently. The graphics may be a little old school, but it actually has some really good combat. You can dodge infinitely, explore underwater without drowning (at least I haven't come close to drowning yet), the dungeons are pretty big, and any buffs you put on last minutes at a time at minimum.
This game is easily played with a controller, but you do have more hotkey options, and a little more in control with a keyboard/mouse setup.
I mentioned anything about the story being good or not, but I'm only into the second dungeon. If you're looking for an open world game, this is not for you. It is very much instance-based. But it is multiplayer, so you can still wreck a dungeon with your friends.

Great game, but i don't see myself doing any dungeons more than once. well worth the $2.99 i spent. story isn't great and the main characters are nothing special, but the game play and enviroments are really good. armor and weapon design isn't my taste, but there not terrible.

played many hours on PS5. thought i would pick it up on sale for pc. plays way better and is still a blast to play.

Does not allow cross platform play. It's absurd that in 2025 it's still a thing...

Cool Progression dungeon crawler - more fun with friends and fun to min max in :)

Super simple. Relaxing, and fun. Not a AAA game, but it's a lot better designed than expected. Aside from friends losing connection to the party once in a while, it's great! Totally worth $3.
