Looking for a fresh start and some new surroundings, you set off on a voyage to begin your new life! Unfortunately, the weather has different plans, as your ship is hit by a monsoon, and goes down! You drift into a small harbor town, now in shambles from the storm, where a young doctor named Jeanne saves your life. The town has essentially been deserted, but you're never one to back down from a challenge! It will be up to you to help rebuild the town and save the lighthouse...but it won't be easy! Nevertheless, with some hard work growing crops, tending livestock, and gathering materials for repairs, you will be able to make new friends, start a family, revive the lighthouse, and save the town, your new home!
• Collect important materials to rebuild the town and restore the lighthouse!
• Complete requests from villagers to unlock new areas and items!
• Grow crops, tend livestock, and gather materials, either by yourself or with a Co-Op friend!
• Learn to grow and mutate crops with user friendly UI and tutorials!
• Make new friends, get married, and start a family from a variety of bachelors and bachelorettes, including a secret one!

Great game to play when you want something light and to simply take a break from drama heavy story lines or lore. Refreshing game for farming and crafting. :)
i love harvest moon since long time ago
Overall, while it appealed to longtime fans of the series for its familiar gameplay, it didn't quite meet the expectations of everyone, especially those seeking more innovation. If you’re a fan of farming sims, it might still be worth trying! Would you like to know more about any specific aspects?
Not as prolificaly calming as the originals but it has a glorious flowing calm about the dynamic gameplay that captures the escence of the franchise.
I love the harvest moon games and had this one on ds long ago so I purchased it for pc because it claims it has full xbox controller support. Love it!
It claims you can use controllers but when setting configuration within the game or outside it does not acknowledge it. You have half controller half keyboard requirement which makes the game practically impossible to play because who has time to stop every 30 seconds to do an action on the keyboard because it will not do the action any other way? The game time moves relatively quick and that makes it impossible to really get anything done when half of the game actions require keyboard and half a controller. I am not interested in keyboard gaming so if you are a controller based gamer this game is not for you
