It doesnt show quest controls only get this on htc vive
The controlls are a bit finicky, but once you get past that, it's a decent game that looks pretty.
A quick tip for Quest users. If you're using Virtual Desktop of Steamlink, it will likely default to the Vive controls, which makes it almost unplayable on Quest. I used a a Quest 3, and once I played it using Quest Link/Air Link, it recognized my Oculus controls and worked properly.
This is one of the best games I have played in a long time. Great Story good graphics and all around fun.
Short story (3-4 hours) in Lost in space universe. Beautiful, regardless its age. Had some problems with Meta Quest controllers in Steam link mode but it was solved when I used native Meta Quest link.
At some points game need more guidance options (where to find things and what exactly to do) and raptors episode at planetarium was frustrating (almost force me to rage quit), I had to start from the beginning of checkpoint 10 times or so. Motion is too slow and you can not run. Sometimes LOD is badly tuned so things will pop up and also textures in some places did not load in hi-res properly.
Nevertheless game is good if you got it on sale like myself. Dinosaurs are gorgeous and big, landscapes can catch your eye, climbing mechanics can really give you some exercise in VR. Puzzles are simple and not annoying. Give it a try, in my opinion its definitely worth it.
I think that if this game had like 5x the amount of playtime I would have loved this game, the visuals are stunning and the game play actually felt like I had a dinosaur walking around me, if I had a better gen vr headset I think I would have had 3x the enjoyment.
If it helps anyone deciding whether or not this is a bargain for 4,99€:
I had absolutely no problem running the game with Meta Quest 3. I could easily setup resolution and graphics options in the options menu, the ingame help even displayed the Oculus controllers in the help menu - so yes, it seems it has built-in support for these.
Switching to different languages (Englisch, German, French, Italian, Spanish) in the options was no problem, too.
Well, obviously, looking at all the bad reviews there must be some issues and yes, the game obviously is abandoned by the devs.
But hey, Steam has a refund option. So you can just give it a try and in the first 2 hours you will notice if you're facing issues you don't want to hassle with.
What remains is that there really is no run option so you're very slow, that's annoying and if you need a teleport option, you also won't find it.
It's a good game. Been Playing it on the PSVR2, and a 3090TI, and it looks really good and runs well.
The game has fantastic visuals, and really great sound effects, and ambient sounds. It really is amazing what Crytek was able to do with a PSVR1 launch title. The soundscape of the jungle and the dinosaurs in surround sound is really really good. Just note that it is a "walking simulator" with really big dinosaurs chasing you sometimes. Game has a lot of puzzles, and exploration based achievements. Has a lot of climbing, like Crytek's other game "The Climb"
Had to play with the config file to spruce the graphics options up a little bit, but really makes the game look like a new release.

3 brought my 3090ti to its knees, but your mileage may vary.
The dinos are great and the visuals still hold up but performance and controls are unfortunately abysmal.
The UI is not adopted to the Meta Quest 3 controllers. I am constantly struggle finding the required button.
