LEGO® City Undercover

48 Total hours played on this game (57 on Record from Steam). I gotta say this is the best game I've ever played especially from a Lego game made in 2013. I loved Lego City Undercover when I was a kid watching YouTube videos. Now playing it as an adult and completing it all. This has been a wonderful experience.
The graphics in this game is great and runs well on High Spec PCs. I love every detail of the characters and lego props with how beautiful Lego City is with its sunsets and landscapes.
The story is also great! It's very engaging and also humorous. The jokes still get me even though it's now a decade old as of writing this. At its time it is a good tribute that featured all the old Lego City sets made from 2013.
And lets not forget the fun mechanics of the game! They're very simple, but the best part is its huge list of collectibles and easter eggs you need to find around the large world of Lego City. They are very tedious and without a guide could take longer that 48 hours to finish. But it's also worth it as a way to return players to the game and challenge them on completing the game 100%!
Overall. This game will be one of the best games I've ever played! It's been a very fun experience. Through all the laughs, frustrations, and success. I will say I would heartedly recommend anyone to give this game a try!

this is one of my favourite games of all time on any device. I had to reconfigure the RH controls to make it more intuitive but other than that this game has been straight fire!

I had this game on the Wii U for years, and nearly got 100% completion. It is absolutely one of the best Lego games out there, and I highly recommend it!!! There are so many walk throughs for when trying to reach 100% completion, and the story is so fun. The best part is the driving tho! Literally GTA Lego version. So fun, and its by far one of my favorite games!!!

Brilliant game, surprised me with how much fun it is. I play split screen with my 4 year old son, he loves just running and jumping around everywhere and driving cars while I grind collectibles and missions.

Essentially it's a GTA-esque game but for kids. Similar gameplay and open world, with humor that hits for adults as well.

This is the only lego game that I cannot get to work properly. Very low fps compared to other games. I can run Indy and the Great Circle and RDR2 at high settings but I can't get this above 9 fps at 4k resolution. Absolutely ridiculous.

i am adverse to games that require guides to figure out the convoluted ways to collect things
controls are complete whack for keyboard and the nonexistent mouse, and the camera sometimes has a mind of its own

Really good game. I haven´t played lego games much but this one is worth the price. Good story missions, many characters to play with and a lot of missions and challenges hidden in the world. It's a chore and will take a lot of time try to collect everything and do all the challenges but i will try. Really fun game!

It's really fun. I played this first on the Switch and it was a lot of fun over there, so I decided to get it for PC as well.

LCU is a kids friendly GTA with an awesome original story, a beautiful open world, excellent soundtrack and lots of humor that is also appealing to adults.

I'd give this game 5 Stars if you could unlock the T-Rex for a joyride through Lego City and if there were random criminals on the street for you to arrest after 100 % completion. Introducing a wanted level for commiting crimes would be great too.

played this game for a few hours, was fun but then next day suddenly game doesn't start anymore even after reinstalling it. What a bummer

It's not the most challenging game in the world but not every game needs to be hard to be enjoyable. I had fun roaming around the city while doing missions and collecting things. I wish it had some more missions so it would feel less like a collectathon at times though, probably my only gripe with it.

i used to play this with my brother on my Nintendo Switch back in 2022 and recently i got it on my PS5 Pro and its more smoother than on the Nintendo, and also can we mention how badass the OST sounds?, i recommend this to anyone looking for a ACTUALLY GOOD Lego Game, i cant play it without my computer running it VERY slow, 10/10 buy it if can run it or have the money to.

The game is fun to play but painfully annoying to 100% complete, it's a perfect for casual players but not for completionist like me...

This game crashes WAYY too much for me to recommend purchasing at full price, I got it for 80% off and I wouldn't consider it money well spent. It also should not be listed as verified compatibility for steam deck due to how much it crashes. the cutscenes are also broken almost everytime its the first time that cutscene has played.

Kinda underrated lego game. Enjoyable levels, a decent open world getting close to the bloat of the skywalker saga. It's refreshing to see a game focused on lego and it's sets/themes rather than just adapting some pre-existing IP into lego form, so I hope we can get more games like this (even tho we definitely won't)

Very good game. A lot of stuff to do. Literally gta 5 in lego.

Get it on a different platform because the game freezes approximately every 60 seconds regardless of beefy computer and changing the video settings one by one. I even tried adding mods and contacted WB support but these lead to no solutions. Genuinely disappointing, I hear the gameplay is great.

Just endless fun, literally cant go wrong with this game. Its GTA but Lego, like cmon thats genius

The closest thing to LEGO GTA.
This is a good LEGO game, one of the first where the story progresses outside of the levels, you don't just move from one level to the next in the HUB World.
Some of the good things...
Great humor, with plenty of references to movies and TV Shows.
It has a costume system (like a LEGO Batman game) but you can switch between them with ease.
Inside a level there are few things to unlock, just four shield parts, a few tokens and a red brick, less than the ten or more minikits of other games.
There are two currencies, studs and brick shards. The latter are plentiful and I found easy to buy everything. The brick shards can be difficult to collect, but once you complete the story mode you get a x2 permanent boost, and you rapidly get big number playing in Free-Play.
Red Bricks are free, you unlock them and you can activate them you don't need to buy them.
Some of the bad things...
This game was, originally, a Wii-U game, and used the gamepad very well there. The controls were converted quite well, but when searching around the camera speed is a little slow.
Like many 3D LEGO games, there are a few parts where the camera is fixed in the worst possible angle, you will be fighting the camera in the open world HUB quite often.
Because of the WII-U gimmick the gold bricks are token are difficult to find, specially inside levels.
Like the other LEGO games, you can complete the story in 3-6 hours, but getting to 100% is a chore (because of the above sentence). I finally 100% it after 44 hours.

It's a Tt LEGO Game, It's fun. 8/10.

This game has a fun and interesting story to play through and slowly unlocking newer parts of the game is very satisfying. I went for 100% completion and I gotta say the Grind really isn't too worth it IMO. You get One Extra Bonus for getting the 100% completion. I won't spoil it but the story is at least worth playing through if you're into lego games and it had characters from classic lego sets which is pretty cool

1 out of 4 games that are actually playable on pc. Chapaeu Lego, atleast you have 4 games that actually work on pc WITHOUT problems. Props.

This game is fun, i like the way the dev try new things, collecting lego coins, bricks for construction is actually fun.

This game feels like a Just Cause game...only thing is no Heavy weapons like a RPG, or Minigun...
You can fly a helicopter, drive a car, glide with chicken.... jetpack with space man...
Also, this game is HUGE...like you can platform the way up to the top of the buildings, then do some stunts by driving a car over the RAMP..
It's almost Just Cause...

There's a lot of things to be done in this game, same "action", just different areas, like saving a cat, taking a break, watering plants, smashing boulders...those are some incredible time Waster if you want to 100% this game.

Overall, this is a fun game to play, if you're into Lego Games.

I originally played this game on the Wii U when it first came out. I don't have a working controller but from what I have played this game gives the same nostalgia as it did then. Chase McCain is both a sarcastic yet funny character to play. Earning the disguises throughout is so fun and the ending is rewarding. Definitely worth it!

It's a good game but you'll get the best experience playing on the controller.

This is one of the best games I've played and probably one of the best ones in the Lego franchise. It has an amazing story and the free play mechanic of the game is fun too. I would highly recommend playing with the controller though because the game's compatibility with the keyboard is not great.

Great game. Be sure to verify game files. I had black screen when trying to start but verifing game files fixed that. Either way I haven't played a lego game since middle school and now being in my thirties can say I've enjoyed this game thoroughly. A game hasn't made me laugh out loud in a while.

I had somewhat dismissed this game as I thought it different from the other Lego games. I was wrong to do this. Lego City Undercover is a great game.

Really is gta but lego, the story is unbelievable and really gave me a taste of nostalgia that i havent felt in a really long time. If you were considering getting it, it is worth every cent you spent on getting it. The collectables are also really good and are actually fun to get unlike in other lego games that i have played

Funniest Lego game ever!

This was one of the first Lego games I played aside from the complete saga and harry potter, this game is MASSIVE and has plenty to do. The story and humor is PEAK, with pretty every side quest having a fantastic joke. Frank telling Chase he shoved an apple up a horses but was not something I expected. Either way, compared to other Lego games this one really does shine with the humor, I played some others and I just didn't get the laughs I did with this one. It's made me really appreciate this game mode. Favorite Lego game, possibly video game, buy.

Fun times with my son.

Lego City Undercover is a fun game to play alone or with someone. The game has a great mix of humor, puzzles, and action, set in the huge Lego city where you play as Chase McCain, an undercover cop chasing criminals. It’s like the Lego version of GTA in a lot of ways, the missions are engaging, and there's a lot of stuff to discover, from hidden collectibles to secret areas. If you enjoy Lego games or open-world adventures, this one is definitely worth playing!

lego gta fr 10/10 got it cuz my childhood and had a blast even got 100% completion after 40 hrs of gameplay

It is basically Lego GTA and it works really well. The gameplay and story are fun. It also has various atmospheres. I wish they would make a sequel.

35.5 hours to 100% complete the game in couch co-op. We loved the fact that the story is new and fresh (unlike all other movie based LEGO games). Vehicle handling could be a little bit better. Some of the navigation system when playing couch co-op can be wacky. When using the scanner, only one navigation point can be set which is a slight frustration.

As far as lego games go this is one of the best. Even though the game is geared towards children the story is well written and funny. There were plenty of references that only adults would get. The Soundtrack rocks. There's plenty of fun, though easy, puzzles and challenges to do.
