Great game, but the pc version is bugged.
My save game is now looks like one of those corrupted game disk videos.
I be swinging my whip like P Diddy with a bottle of jagger.
Its simply peak what can I say
In all ways this version is far worse than the Original Adventures. Unlike the previous title this game starts you off playing content from the 4th Indiana Jones movie (Kingdom of the Crystal Skull) rather than starting you from the first movie and allowing you to progress along the Indiana Jones timeline. This is somewhat excusable given that Kingdom of the Crystal Skull was the newest movie at the time and likely the one most kids had seen of all the Indiana Jones Movies at the time. If this was my only issue with this game then I'd still recommend it to others, unfortunately that is just the tip of the iceberg.
Obtaining new characters isn't as simple as purchasing them and/or gaining access to them in story mode as was the case for the Original Adventures. To make matters worse once you do unlock the ability to purchase a character you will still need to fight them in the HUB world until they decide to finally allow themselves to be purchased. This mechanic is extremely annoying especially when compared to the Original Adventures.
Vehicle controls are even worse in this title than they were in the Original Adventures, they weren't terribly great in that title either but it was far more playable than in The Adventure Continues. The vehicle controls are always locked to screen-directions without any way to alter it, and I also noticed that all vehicles have a wider turning radius when controlled by the player vs an NPC. The combination of these things makes vehicle sections a lot more difficult to control than needed which often results in frustration. If you have played the Original Adventures then this is going to be far more noticeable and bothersome than it might otherwise be.
That isn't the only issue with the controls either, just as the Original Adventures playing with a PS controller doesn't effect the button prompts as all of these assume X-Box controllers. The mismatched glyphs are a minor annoyance and one that is fairly easy to get used to after a moment or two. Unfortunately the bigger issue with player controls is that all the player attack and item controls have been re-worked quite a bit from those present in the Original Adventures, and again the change is not for the better. Often times you may need to use a particular weapon or item but have to switch to it using the "B" button. And any long-range weapon/item will require you to take time to aim the item rather than having it just work the way it did in the Original Adventures.
As others have stated the creator kits are part of the completion of the game rather than an extra that can be unlocked. This forces players to fiddle with the level and character creator parts of the game in order to fully complete it, and unfortunately the the bulk of the content of this game appears to be in the creation parts rather than in the game itself. I don't mind there being creative tools included, but they just should not be part of what is required to complete the game itself.
The content from the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull packaged with content from the original three Indiana Jones movies could have been very nice, but apparently that just wasn't in the cards. This package leaves out all the Star Wars Easter Eggs from the Original Adventures and while it does cover content from the movies covered by the Original Adventures all of that content has been watered down to the point of losing most of the character of them.
While having content from Kingdom of the Crystal Skull and creation tools to make your own levels is nice, it just isn't enough to save this one. Given the reduction in quality and scope of the original three movies content, the frustrating controls, the insanely stupid character unlocking mechanism, and the requirement to use the creation tools included as part of what is required to complete the game fully, I have to say give this one a hard pass unless you are a masochist as well as a die-hard Indiana Jones and Lego fan (then wait for a really deep discount). For most folks you will likely be better off purchasing Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures and save yourself the frustration by ignoring this even exists.
TL;DR: Buy Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures and ignore this title to get a better quality game with ample Indiana Jones content, decent controls, and some fun Easter Eggs too.
i cannot beat the final boss when i exit the level in enter the level the final boss drag me to my doom in too fast in i cannot escape the endless spawning kills

:-0
it like indiana jone but lego 10/10
really really glitchy.
It is a good game to play, have other Lego games
i could hear the screams of the damned due to an audio bug with the game, please do NOT play this game unless your pc is ass, that will somehow fix the issue
the game is still kind of bad anyways, but i love Indiana Joe.................Lego form
Different format than its predecessors, and honestly I didn't mind that they were mini-levels instead of full levels with minikits and all. The way that the individual levels built the lobby area was a nice touch that I was surprised I liked. I miss the old format somewhat, but as I played through this one I found that I actually liked getting to experience it in bite-sized pieces. 6/10.
It wasn't for me.
op
it fun but im not fan of the creator being under the 100%
so basicly if you don't want to do the creator stuff view the 82% as the new 100%
I didn't remember liking this lego game as much when I played it when I was younger, but I thought I'd give it another try to see if my opinions had changed. Unfortunately they haven't. This is by far one of my least favorite lego games. I'll certainly give it credit for trying something different, but it was not a good change to the formula.
a classic adventure, fun all the way through!

Unreasonably difficult, rushed lackluster retellings of the stories, unforgiving gameplay, and hellish enemies. least amount of fun I've ever had with a lego game.
pretty fun
Just crashed, cant change config files like google tells you so just don't waste your time
Good game but it has KOTCS so not better then the first game.
oh Lego Indiana Jones 2: the adventure continues where do i begin....
I prefer playing locally with someone next to me than online as I only game once in a blue moon. the split screen feature allows just for that and guarantees loads of laughs and fun. pop some popcorn, couple glasses of wine and your well on your way.
This one was alright. It has more levels and improvements of the first game. Still yet to 100% it but hey it's a classic!
This game is even more buggy than the first one. There are lots of little things that the game doesn't explain to you like that you can double jump when needed. The trampolines are so much easier when you hold the A button down on an Xbox controller. Didn't figure that out until the 3rd part of this game. I really hate how the format of the game changed from the first one. No more red and gold bricks. Now you have to get red, blue, and green bricks. Just use the cheat codes found at brickraiders.net. Thankfully LEGO made changes in later games and went back to the red and gold bricks. Don't play this game!
A classic.
Ignoring nostalgia, there's a bunch of things I like about Indiana Jones 2 that I don't see in other Lego games. Free play is replaced by alternate nighttime levels that rework the map design to be used in new ways. This means that in exchange for more levels, there's less secrets in story levels, which can honestly feel more satisfying and less repetitive. Another big invention here is the level creator, which is fun to play around with and see how the devs made use of its offerings.
It's worth noting that this game has less total content than modern Lego games, but it also has a lot less fluff. Instead of 10-20 main levels and 80 hours worth of fetch quests, this game offers 90 solid, unique levels, and plenty of fun stuff within the 6 hub worlds.
Since no part of the game feels repetitive, I'd have to rank it above most of the other Lego games, even if there aren't as many total hours of content to go around.
jome
Wholly different from the first game, but if you play it with a lighthearted mindset, then you will enjoy it.
One of my most favorite games as a kid on the Xbox360. better than the new Indiana Jones game lol
godeto
lanjutin yang pertama, mantap!
Back in my younger years I used to play this on the Wii. Fun times. Fun times.
With this version its about the same just on a different platform. albiet just a bit off
Pros.
As much as how Lego Star Wars started it all. This game still has the typical goods you can do
Customizable characters (but you now have more characters to edit) (Aside from a few oddities. Its functional)
Like the typical TT Lego games with special colored bricks. if you dont want to spend all day and night grinding for studs to use those multiplier bricks. though getting the amount can take some grinding that Unless you enter in a cheat code to get it for free in game.
A level editor? Despite being only local (Since the developers couldnt make some online mode (or at least Steam could've done the workshop effect) Sign me up. At first when i first saw it I honestly liked the idea of making custom made levels.
While moreso less accurate to the films. Theres still some funny quirky moments.
Cons.
The vehicle missions REALLY drag.
Sometimes you have to try to hit the enemy vehicles really hard by going at top speed. (Literally)
Especially some Vehicle Challenges can be a pain to deal. (To the point. It can be way too frustrating until one manages to finally do it).
Some of those Treasure Levels can be vague or can be cheesed. (Although sometimes you may not always need the exact character to beat the bonus. Depsite that. it has its problems of not being exactly said)
Another thing that I find odd in this port. Is that. There are no voice clips that play in game (not the cutscenes). With mods. it is possible to restore it. (It could just be a heavy oversight by the developers)
Is it worth playing and collecting?
Being it feels more umm. Sandbox-esque? and having a custom level editor you can use. (With limitations)
Aside from some frustrating missions and others. It's fairly good.
If you are trying to decide between this one and the first one, go with the first one. This game does not really follow the standard lego formula, like a few levels per film, each stuffed with collectibles and varied puzzles/encounters. They've iterated on this in future games with more expansive hub worlds and then eventually into open worlds/open zones with standard levels here and there.
This game is nothing like that. The first 3 movies have a hub world each, with 5 levels per movie, and 5 "bonus levels". The fourth movie is split into 3 parts with the same formula. Each level is one of a very small handful of level types. Defeat 3 waves of enemies (either hand-to-hand or a destruction derby-esque stage), solve a couple puzzles, or fight a boss. Most of these are only in one room for the entire level. It honestly feels like this would be the DS version, but they put it on consoles instead.
There really isn't a "free play" mode like other Lego games. You have to unlock characters in the hub world and then use their abilities to unlock the bonus levels or find collectibles within the hub to get extras or other characters. One thing I really enjoy about other lego games is the Free Play mode, where you traverse levels you've played before with the ability to access secrets and areas and be rewarded for it. This is completely absent here. Sure you can go to the creator mode and play the levels with any character, but levels have no replay value, so there really isn't a point.
I will say, I do appreciate that they didn't just shove the first game's levels into this one and then just add in the 4th movie. Makes for a more worthwhile purchase on paper, but they just take out so much from the first 3 movies that it just doesn't have the same Indy feel of the first game.
Sure, I have more nostalgia for the first one over this one, but even the first one isn't in my top 5 lego games. I have some gripes with that one as well, but it is a much better game than this one. If you absolutely have to pick this one up to play through Crystal Skull, then the $5 price is great, but not any higher than that.
Fun redux of the original Lego Indy + the Crystal Skull
This game is a classic and worth getting if you are willing to put up with constant ear-raping audio issues. Other than that, this game is filled with all the same quirks and charm of the older LEGO games and is a great nostalgia trip if you grew up playing it.
This game gets way too hate; also it was my childhood. The bosses and levels are intriguing and the creative liberties taken create a more fun game; truly a classic.
awesome
The game has audio issues that can really hurt the ears of the player. I recommend buying it on a console and not on steam The game itself is good but the steam port it is painful to play.
I played this entirely on the steam deck
Works out of the box , just adjust the screen resolution and your good to go
Only had 2 crashes over the entire play through and I didn’t really notice any major issues / bugs
I didn’t really enjoy the game, it’s not bad but it’s definitely not the best Lego game by any means
I think the mini open world hubs it has are cool, and the cutscenes are amazing —> I miss classic Lego cutscenes and not having voice acting, they were actually funny and creative
I think the worst part of the game would be lack of characters, their seems to be to few and to many of the same ones to unlock, same with vehicles. The levels are too repetitive and follow the same formula throughout each movie , the car levels really and I mean really over stay their welcome
The graphics I feel still look good, it’s aged well and it runs smoothly at 60fps on the steam deck
I wouldn’t pay full price, wait till it’s 4-5$, that’s how much I feel it’s worth
Not a terrible game but not a great game either
3 out of 5 stars
worst lego game :)
they dont make em like they used to
VERY very nostalgic, I remember playing this on my Nintendo Wii. I have had so many good times with this game as well as the other LEGO games I've played in the past, like the early and mid 2010s!!
played this on my wii for probably hundreds of hours as a kid.
This game was really good. Enjoyed all aspects of the game, except the creator level.
Loved this game on the Wii and it's even better on PC. A couple funky bugs but nothing that prevents you from 100% completing the game. Great for 2 players
This game is a classic. It brings me back good memories when my parents were yelling in the background. 10/10 game.
gg
great game if bought at sale
Jedna z gorszych gier Lego.
Pozdrawiam Cieplutko
