The game is the same as zup 1 and zup 2, this game took a toll on my steam page because every achievement is repeated 2000 times when you play this game, which is kinda annoying but other than its a good game to play
Zup 3 is like a puzzle game on steroids – with achievements! I swear, for every level I completed, an achievement popped up like a confetti cannon. By the end, my Steam client crashed from sheer achievement overload. It’s a fun game, but don’t be surprised if your computer starts questioning its life choices. If you enjoy puzzles and have a strong tolerance for notifications, Zup 3 will keep you entertained
ITS NO ZUP 2 THATS FOR SURE
“Minimal physical puzzler with explosions” is how Zup! 3 is described on the Steam store page. And that description could not be more accurate.
Zup! 3 is the third in a series of currently 18 released Zup games, at the time of writing this review. Developer/publisher Quiet River currently has no less than 29 games released on Steam, counting the Qop series with 4 titles and several smaller rogue titles, which are also from his hand. Important to know we are dealing with an more experienced developer, in this over-satured market of smaller puzzlers, always some streamlined quality should be expected.
In these physics based series of smaller, short puzzle levels, more than total of 40 puzzles have to be completed in order of a succesful playthrough. Goal is to get the cue ball to a designated area, requiring a minimal amount of rudimentary input. Some elements can be clicked on and triggered to make an explosion with which you can manipulate the trajectory of the cue ball. Key is to calculate a way to get to the endpoint, mostly done by trial and error.
Puzzles ramp up from tutorial style to somewhat harder difficulty. There is a large gap between the easiest and the hardest puzzles. At later stages in the game, more elements which influence the gameplay are being added. Still, even the last and hardest puzzles of the game are rather straightforward and somewhat easy to solve. They may require some skill and concentration, however, since there are some sequenced timings necessary.
Background music is nothing special, as can be expected from such games in this genre. Sound effects are on par with the rest of the game and can give a trancelike rewarding feeling.
A whopping 1708 achievements can be unlocked, easily achievable in about an hour or two. Which makes Zup! 3 excellently suited for achievement hunters and completionists. No grinding has to be done in order to unlock all of the achievements. All achievements can easily be unlocked in a single playthrough as well. Puzzles cannot be rushed or skipped, however, they are easy enough the player will maintain a good flow in progress. The unlocked achievements lend themselves excellently for use on your Steam profile page.
To conclude: I enjoyed this game a bit, liking the smaller puzzle sizes, completing a few puzzles now and then, en-route to achieve another perfect game to add to my profile page... all this in a relaxing manner. The puzzle aspect is somewhat underdeveloped, however, puzzles most of the time are too easy and some require a whole lot of skill and timing. Main reason for me to purchase this title on a sale, were the easy achievements and perfect game. Once completed, this is a game i will not come back to again, however.
Recommended for: casual, puzzle gamers, achievement hunters and completionists.

Cheap puzzles.
Though there is absolutely an excessive amount of achievements...and the levels are simple enough that some may dislike and or call them a rip off.
Never buy full price...unless you want to support the dev I guess.
Sale typically drop them to a $0.25 a piece.
Zup 3! is packed to the rim with euphoria & tranquility. Sit back and relish the lofi soundtrack, appreciate the chime of the steam achievements & savor the simplistic puzzle design. Best game of the series so far. 10/10 😊
5/5 would crash Steam again for profile customization.
Also, the ZUP! games really aren't bad and can be quite relaxing to play for 30-60 minutes. Like say, if you're avoiding your family on Thanksgiving.

The Zup! series of games is fun, creative, and additive. Grab the entire group of them when there is a sale. It's a good pick up for the amount of content you get.
Cheap game, don't bother getting unless you want to get some quick achievements for profile customization.

This is the third instalment to the Zup! Puzzle series and like with the first two, it isn't that challenging until the final few levels. Doesn't over stay it's welcome but pick this up when it is on sale.

A fun, but short, puzzle game. Wasn't half bad to play, though it didn't get too challenging until the very end. Still, it's cheap, and it doesn't overstay it's welcome.
