"Dude, Stop" - игра-головоломка, где главная задача - не следовать общепринятым правилам и обычаям, тем самым заставляя всех вокруг корчиться от злости. Ломай, круши, не читай инструкций, игнорируй подсказки и - самое главное! - заткни рассказчика. Так ему и надо. Ты ведь лучше знаешь, как играть.Например, одной из задач может быть не читать этот абзац. Просто пропусти его. Иди дальше, вон же следующий. Начинаешь надоедать. И… молодец. Поздравляю. Ты нарушил своё первое правило. И ведь даже ещё не купил игру! Да ты у нас одарённый! Не думал заняться этим профессионально?
Собери все награды и достижения и беги хвастаться своим подружкам, что ты только что был в интернете, бессовестно разъярил разработчика какой-то компьютерной игры и заставил его кричать на тебя прям как в ролике.
В общем, делай как лучше. Или хуже. Или всё сразу. Как хочешь.
Особенности:
- Окунись в бессчётное* количество уровней, с усердием собранных разработчиками. Некоторые покажутся тебе очень жизненными, некоторые нет. Какая разница, купи уже чёртову игру
- Полностью озвученные хорошие и плохие прохождения. Можешь слушать и от смеха надрывать животик, а можешь выключить и сидеть в полной тишине, прерывающейся разве что тихим плачем нашего звуковика
- Много разнообразных наград и достижений, нарисованных голодным низкооплачиваемым художником – мы не скупимся на то, чтобы ты, опять сделав что-то каверзное и похихикав пару секунд, получил за это красивый (хоть и невкусный) пряник
- Хватает и моментов, когда будешь восклицать: "Аа?", "Чё?" и "Лучше пойду Дом2 посмотрю"… Шутим-шутим, ничего такого не будет. Ты просто будешь кликать по всему экрану и швырять предметы во все стороны
- Ломающий четвёртую стену юмор, с которым мы явно переборщили. Сюда же входят и всевозможные отсылки, которые понимает только наш программист-ботан. Что-то вроде "42" и "Ложки нет". Вот задрот, а?
*разве что кто-то попытаешься их сосчитать. Не считайте, пожалуйста

Jeu incroyable, cela a pris 3 heures mais c'était amusant.
This game is wonderful. It is very reminiscent of "There is no game" which I also happen to love. The humor is this game is very funny and turns a boring cliched game into a game that is hilarious and brings joy. However if you dislike sorting/organization (similar to "A little to the left".) type games, I would not recommend this game since that is the main point of the game and no amount of humor can compensate for bad game play. (In my opinion.)
i love how many options the game had, and the dialogue was absolutely hilarious, overall would recommend
I enjoyed the game although it felt short and a bit frustrating once the first playthrough is done.
I think I paid the game around 8€ on sale. It took me ~3 hours for the first playthrough. I came back to the game the last two weeks to hunt the achievements.
I wouldn't recommend it full price, and I'm not sure I would recommend it for 8€ either.
I tend to think that I get my money worth if a game makes me play it at the very least 1 hour per € paid and I didn't get my money worth here.

During the main story (first playthrough), the pace is a bit slow but I find that okay since I am discovering the game and playing along the narrator.
The narration is fun and got some chuckles out of me.
The concept was original at the time of release and I think it aged well.
Achievements and cups don't require hours your life to hope to get one (took me ~4 hours to get back into the game and finish all of them).
It runs on Linux :)

The puzzles are original but too easy, even in the "harder" packs.
There is no option and no way to skip the narration between levels. This makes hunting the achievements or speedrunning the game very frustrating since you'll pass as much time, if not more, waiting for the narration instead of playing the game. You may think that disabling the subtitles and the voice remove the narration but no, it does not. You'll still have to wait between levels, there just won't be any sound or subtitles any more.
Some achievements are close to impossible to get without checking the guides.
It's short.

I did really enjoy this game. Maybe it's because I personally love the trope where the game addresses the player as an entity, either way, I liked it. But this game is so, painfully, 2018. Don't get me wrong, the game is funny, sure, but I often found myself cringing at dated references ("Such Wow"). I liked the writing, and there were certain moments that I especially liked, but the story simply felt too short. I 100%ed this game in just about 4 hours, and while I do appreciate that it doesn't overstay its welcome, I had seen everything that was to offer on the day I purchased this game. I also felt like there were many plot holes left unanswered and missed opportunities (getting screenshare privileges could've gone so many ways! using them for just one gag felt like a waste). Basically, the game is good, and worth its weight in the first playthrough, but not much replayablility.

I wanted to like this game back when I played it in 2021, I really did, but my issues with Dude, Stop! ultimately outweighed the fun that I had while playing. For one thing, the game's length simply isn't enough to justify its $15 price tag; a casual playthrough of this game will likely only take you a couple hours at most. Secondly (and no hate to the VA for this!), the "developer"/narrator's writing and general line delivery makes them come across as very obnoxious and aggravating, and not in an enjoyable or cathartic way. I am aware that you can mute the voice acting in the settings menu, but my point still stands.
Overall, I'm afraid that I must advise those considering buying it to save their time and money for something more worthwhile.

Dude, Stop is a pretty neat meta puzzler comedy about trying to ruin a game dev's game (and his day). In short, there's a whole bunch of puzzles that have a right and a wrong way to do them, which ultimately descends into chaos the worse you perform. My main favourite part was figuring out how to do things as worse as possible before going back to do things right to see all the trophy cups I could get.
The main beef with the narrator/developer is the main source of conflict in the game's plot and honestly acts as a great way to drive the player forward given the guy is essentially a jerk even when you start doing things right. Though, the problem is that outside of this beef, the narrator doesn't really have anything else going for him; which makes it tough to care about and engage with said plot in a deeper level than just trolling the narrator. The game's humour also gives a few chuckles here and there, but sometimes does feel like it's trying a bit too hard
I'd give it a 6/10; it's decently good for what it is, but it doesn't ever really try and push itself from what's expected or get the player to truly care about the events and shenanigans that occur.

You ever wanted to be that *one* guy? This game safely allows you to put that gremlin to bed and be that *one* guy for a little bit with some fun challenges. Or don't. Only issue is that you have to be that *one* guy for the game to progress. Sure, they made the "programmer" pretty insufferable to cause you to want to ignore his directions, but I find it odd that there is such an intentional roadblock there. But it is after all a comedy game, where the active goal is to be as obnoxious as possible, not to be as polite as possible, so that's a minor nitpick. The puzzles and solutions are fun, the little comments and trophy screens are very amusing, and the game's pretty memorable. There are lots of little puzzles to do. Would recommend.

This game capitalizes on the satisfaction of inconveniencing someone else, and it does a great job with it! It even encourages you to be a bad player by not unlocking more of the game until you purposely mess up. The narrator is the perfect example of someone you may feel bad for, but ultimately still dislike enough to keep messing with him. If you ever need to take your frustrations out by giving someone else a bad day, then this game is perfect!
I always come back when I need to release some piece of shit energy, highly recommend

I had some problems with this game, like achievements not popping and certain trophies for the packs just simply breaking. I think the game has a really intriguing concept but after the 5th pack or so the humor really got to me and rather than making me laugh made me sigh. I wouldn't have finished it if I wasn't already so close.
