Short, sweet, and worth your while! As of writing this, I have completed most of what the game has to offer - all that's left are a few optional achievements.
Pikuniku is very entertaining. It features platforming aspects, puzzles (as the store page itself says), and plenty to laugh at! This game worked great with my wireless X-Box controller. Nice anti-frustration features; if you get yourself into a game over scenario, you will start off directly before it happened without needing to manage several saves to make sure you can get back to it!

I woke up at 12am and impulse bought this game, then played it all in one session. might come back to 100%, might not.

In this game you are a ball with legs who is trying to save a foreign world that is being exploited by a mega corporation.
I am personally impressed by how polished of a platformer this is. The story is decent and well paced. The puzzles aren't overly difficult and the atmosphere is enjoyable.

My six year old can play this with my help reading dialogue and doing some of the platforming mechanics for her. We often play the split screen co-op mode with two controllers. Co op does NOT follow the story mode but instead is about 9 different levels of puzzle solving as a team and a few races to keep it interesting.

I bought it on sale but I think its well worth the full price if this is your kinda game. Plays well on the Steam Deck too.

This is the greatest game of all time.

Fun short game. Good Physics system. Puzzles are a bit straightforward and there never is a moment where you are unsure what to do. Enjoyed the story and defeating foes with my powerful kicks.

i love this game but i cant give it a good review right now, i got to a part in the game where you turn on some power in a base called "el bunko" but it solflocks me everytime, one of the pears get stuck on screen while leaving and wont let me move, i ahve tried reopening the game but the same thing happened, so ill remove this review when its fixed

Pikuniku is a short, charming little game about beating capitalism with the help of community. It's funny, the gameplay is entertaining, and for the price, I'd say it's well worth it. A fun 4 hour experience.

such a cute and funny little game, i absolutely adored it. knocked it out in 5 hours, and i go through games pretty slowly. a very good game if u wanna hunker down and knock smthn out in an evening! havent tried out co-op mode but its definitely smthn i wouldve loved to play with a little sibling

Rolled credits in one sitting. It's certainly a light-puzzle platformer, but I'd argue it doesn't offer any ideas of substance, at least in the main campaign, for the cost of $13.

Fun and charming platforming puzzle game that both me and my 5 year old has had great times with. The story mode is family friendly, suitably challenging for us both and has a good sense of humour. The two-player co-op mode is fun, albeit sometimes a bit frustrating. It's also possible to enjoy the different levels more than once, especially the two player "basket-ball" game mode.

Meh. It's fun enough in it's own right but $12 just isn't worth it. It can also be extremely exhausting with how consistently tedius it is.

I believe Pikuniku stands out the most in terms of its gameplay style. It has a very unique and interesting style, as its graphics, dialogues, and even the way the in-game sport, baskick, is integrated into the main storyline make it special. What's particularly fun is that baskick can be played with a friend in offline multiplayer mode, making it a great party game as well.

The game's graphics fit perfectly with its style, though they are not the main focus, which means it can run smoothly even on a low-end "potato" PC. The dialogues are excellently written, and the characters are hilarious. One of the best things about the game, in my opinion, is the ability to play with a friend, whether it's the aforementioned baskick tournament or shorter levels designed for co-op gameplay.

Another impressive aspect of the game is the movement of NPCs. Their animations are so well done that they almost feel like real players. This is especially noticeable during the baskick tournament or when you start kicking an NPC—after a while, they will even fight back!

Overall, I think Pikuniku is a fantastic and entertaining game that is definitely worth its price.

A lot of effort went into this, and it shows. Still, it's kind of just a game, the only noteworthy part is that it's polished. Only buy if you're a fan of these games where you basically do nothing, or if you have a kid I guess.

While being able to stand on its own, Piku Niku appeals to nostalgia of having played Loco Roco, but it's not bait.

They say it's a 4-5h campaign and that's very true. I've most likely actually 100%ed it in about 6h and it was a wonderful experience. The game just sparks joy. I'm gonna have to re-play it after some time.

10/10 please make a sequel

It's a fun, goofy little platforming game. I don't have much else to say.

With that said, I do have one major gripe with this game that really upset me. If you are going for 100%, MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT MISS ANY TROPHIES, BECAUSE SOME OF THEM CAN BE LOCKED IF YOU REACH THE END OF THE GAME. THEY ARE LOST WHEN YOU MAKE A NEW SAVE FILE, INCLUDING CO-OP ONES. I MADE THE MISTAKE OF ASSUMING THEY WERE PERMANENT, BUT THEY ARE NOT.

This is a pretty great game that involves some exploration, some light platforming, and minigames. The humor was enjoyable and it the short playtime was perfect for what it was. The soundtrack is also pretty great.

There are some 2-player levels which I didn't explore much, but I have a young child who really enjoyed playing them with me.

Pikuniku is a very simple, short, and easy puzzle-platform game, with enough whimsy and humor to stay engaging. At around 4 hours of gameplay, it didn't overstay its welcome.

I would recommend if you (or your kids) want to play something cute and not very challenging.

The art, music, and writing were all very charming and fun but gameplay wise I found the game to be rather dull. It's not bad I just wish there were more to it.

After completing the main storyline and getting (most of) the achievements, I can say without a doubt that this game absolutely slaps. Good story, great gameplay, lots of collectibles and brilliant humour. I don't know how to make games, but if I could I would want to make a game like Pikuniku. My one complaint is that you can miss some of the in-game trophies in the last area, and you have to restart the game to get another chance to find them.

The main mountain village soundtrack is the one vie been trying to find for years now

Just finished the game. Life-changing experience. Bought it in the Steam Winter Sales 2024 and I am disappointed in myself for not buying it full-price.

10/10, I wish to go back in time to rediscover this game for the first time again.

Very simple mechanics, and fun to play. I enjoyed the sassy characters and cute story line. Played very quickly and still need to find some of the trophies in game.
