This game requires a VR Headset and a second human (both not included). Only features local co-op.
Eye in the Sky is a large asymmetrical local co-op escape room for VR.
Take up this challenge of perspectives and communication with a friend (or enemy, we won't judge). Traverse a post-apocalyptic robot world from two different view points and help each other solve the puzzles that lay ahead.
The VR Player takes on the form of the "Eye". Interacting with objects in the world from a birds eye view and guiding the "Light" to help find pieces to the puzzles they have to solve.
The PC Player will be the "Light". A small robot, seemingly insignificant but essential for the "Eye". Venturing into the nooks and crannies of the world where the "Eye" can't reach, the "Light" can gather information, guide the "Eye" to hidden areas and collect vital parts of each and every puzzle.

the game lacks a way for the Vr player to move other than mopve there body.
its not nice when a cabinet or something like that stops you from playing the game just because you dont own a 1000m^2 home with space for this game.
By far one of the most creative co-op games ever made. Great mechanics and puzzles.
This has been great so far. My daughter and I play this at the end of the day to unwind. It nice that there is no fighting, just a puzzle that has to be figured out and each person has a role to play to continue to the next level/puzzle. It is like an escape room without the timer.
An incredibly amazing game, that while a bit quirky at first to get used to, absolutely engrossed myself and my partner in the experience. Don't expect any mind-breaking graphics or mechanics, but the relaxing soundtrack and fun puzzles kept us coming back for more. Definitely recommend if you have a partner that does not play video games but can handle basic VR gaemplay.
Crazy this game came out in 2017 and I've seen nothing like it since then. Would definitely buy more of this type for couples that live together,
An adorable escape-room-lite experience for two players. If you wanted to go out puzzling but are stuck inside, it's a great way to kill an evening.
The puzzles include a little bit of everything; they're mostly communication challenges that require the players to communicate information only one of them can see, with a few physics and timing puzzles mixed in. The puzzles that synthesize limited information with clever thinking are the standout of the bunch - one my partner described as "tic-tac-toe" was particularly memorable in feeling great to solve together. The physics puzzles are the worst - I spent 15 minutes in VR trying to throw barrels at small holes to get the required materials for that same puzzle.
I suspect most players will take between 2 and 4 hours to finish the game, and then there are some bonus levels afterwards if you crave more. Once you're done with that, though, that's it - a short-and-sweet way to spend an evening puzzling with a good friend, but not something you'll be coming back to when you're done.
An incredible co-op experience where you only need one vr headset and a pc. The robots are adorable, which adds to the charm of the game. The puzzles are super fun to do and sometimes actually a bit challenging. The balance between how much each person does is pretty much equal, the "eye" is not just an eye, they have to do stuff as well.

Its a really fun and easy VR game to get up and go without any elaborate control mechanics. You can tell a lot of love was put into this game and it deserves more recognition. The puzzles were really fun and unique, they have good level layout, and the puzzles didn't seem repetitive. while I do wish there was more content I think what they do have is really sold and done really well, with a few minor nit picks here and there. (We finished 7/10 levels in a little under 2 hours idk how many bonus levels they have though.) If you are looking for a asymmetrical puzzle game I highly recommend you give this game a chance and support the developers.

Remote play works well if you manage to launch it (click a friend in the steam friends list, and make sure Steam is convinced you are actually playing this game, not some SteamVR plugin).
Feels like it is supposed to have a story, but it doesn't.

This game is fun! Good coop puzzles. I like the unique "industrial" look. I like the tiny robot!
I played with a Quest 2 + Virtual Desktop + Parsec (for coop) + Discord. Everything worked perfectly.
So the VR player is a flying sphere, which can interact with objects, but only within a limited space. The other player on the PC is a tiny robot that can go in most places the VR player cannot. They have to work together so that the tiny robot can get to the exit.
I like the way the game is explained to you. In fact, you sort of understand everything without a lot of explanation. It is rather intuitive. You can talk to your friend to figure things out together.
It's not too difficult, but it will get more tricky towards the end.
This game is very basic. Yeah the puzzles are kinda cool, and the "Eurika!" moment is nice, but the game is so short and failed to captivate me, or my SO very much. It's not a "bad game" by any means but, it's a dead game that no longer is receiving updates, and was not worth the money in it's current state. RIP.
Fun co-op puzzle game to keep you entertained for a few hours. Weird clipping and physics issues, but still playable.
Game started first time, I set the graphics settings. Downloaded Steam VR because I didn't have it yet, went to restart the game and we got stuck looking at a black screen and all I can see is my controllers and my partner only had a black screen. We tried uninstalling the game and deleting save files assuming it was a setting I toggled in the game. Reinstalled the game like 5 times and wouldn't get past a black screen. Forewarning for future buyers. Do not start the game or tweak any settings until after you get all VR functionality to work.
I like the idea of what this game was going for, but between not explaining even what the win condition is, and physics interactions being very unpolished (it's easy to glitch objects through the wall - the camera regularly clips through them too), this game seems more like a tech demo than a coherent series of puzzles. If you're up for some jank, this may be for you, but be prepared to struggle a little.
DEV READ THIS PLEASE: This is a really nice game and I love the whole asymetric VR thing but you need to enable the VR guy move! You can make him move with the analog stick or add a button to recenter the VR player because there were many times I needed to reach somewhere but there is a wall or a couch or a table in my room that made this whole thing very difficult. I need to get a box from the ground - there is a couch there and the box is under the couch. I had to move things in the room to be able to reach there! I need to rotate a valve but half of the valve is in the wall (in real world) so I can grab a portion of the valve and it becomes such a stupid hard thing to rotate a valve. This really hindered the fun. Please add some sort of movement / recenter ability to the VR guy.
Besides the semi-game breaking issue I mentioned above, this is a great game to be played with your friend/SO/kid. I've been playing with my 10 year old son, and we had so much fun. The price is fairly cheap. The puzzles are nice. Graphics are not bad. I didnt experience any major bugs. The only problem is in its current state you need alot of room to be able to play it properly, which can be easily solved if the DEVS add some sort of movement for the VR player.
I really have to recommend it to anyone that lacks friends that own their VR headsets. It is clear fun to play it with a friend especially when you are new to VR and you can experience it with a friend. The game was AWESOME and I would really like to see more levels or games from this developer. And I have to admit that playing with the physics and making PC player to jump infinitely on a barrel was pretty funny and made us both laugh and have fun for more than half an hour. Both players had fun and I think were treated equally good (but idk, I was only the VR one). Also the ability to use steam's option to play online with a friend in home was working well and done its job in those covid times.

Absolutely phenomenal game! Simple yet engaging, cute but in front of a horrifying backdrop. I played this through with my SO and had a ton of fun. I only wish there were more levels. It seems to not have been updated for a year or two which probably means either that development has been abandoned or it's just because it's a small developing team, which is totally understandable. I hope the team either adds some more levels or will be coming out with some more asymmetric VR games.
The only annoying thing are the PC controls, as the jump-and-move (rather than a more intuitive move to gain momentum and them jump) style of climbing can be a little frustrating at times. Despite this, I'd highly recommend this game!
Played this with a friend and enjoyed it.
The VR player activates switches, turns knobs, etc to help the flat screen robot player get to the exit, and the flat screen player helps find clues, presses buttons and platforms its way to hard to reach places.
We played it from start to finish without breaks. The puzzles get progressively trickier but we managed to solve them all without looking at a walkthrough.
What I liked:
+ Being able to play local coop in VR with a friend locally.
+ The coop mechanics are great and get progressively better in the last levels.
+ The puzzles are at a good level and are possible to solve.
What could be improved:
Platforming physics - The platforming physics could have been a bit tighter but it works sufficiently well since the focus is not on platforming but on puzzle solving.
Story - There's not much of a story.
We need more games like this!
I definitely recommend this game if you have a local friend to play it with.
If you have someone around to play this with... friend, spouse, kid, whatever... get this game!
Caveats:
- People who are not very experienced with computer games in general should probably play in VR. The PC controls can be tricky if you are not used to them and it might get frustrating. If both players are gamers, you are sure to have a blast regardless!
- There is no controller support. The PC player has to play with keyboard and mouse or you somehow get a controller to emulate the keyboard (as is possible with the Steam Controller, not sure about others).
- Starting the game, setting options etc. currently needs to be done from outside VR. Not really a problem, but something to be aware of. A UI for within VR is in the works, though.
[*] There is no single-player mode. I'm just mentioning this because I've seen reviews that stated there is. There definitely is not! It's a purely co-op game.
If you can see past these points (and you should!), you're in for a fantastic experience. It is so much fun to solve those levels together. You are hardly ever waiting for the other player to complete a task, but will almost always have something to do on your end. You'll also have quite a lot to do. We've been playing for 2-3 hours so far and are not finished yet. For the ridiculously low price that is a lot of value.
Get this! It's worth it!
Funky, cute little game with good communication required to solve puzzles. Works seamlessly from start up. Jumping mechanics need a little bit of refinement but overall nothing that couldn't be dealt with.
Awesome to see more games that let VR players play with non-VR players. More please!
Two player co-op fun that keeps you entertained for about three hours.
Nice puzzles and solid implementation, I found it worth the ten bucks.
Yes i love this game, Grab a friend IRL, set them down by the computer and lett them help you solve the puzzles.
Its still quite early acces but that only means there will be more maps in the future!
I happily recomend this to anyone who got a person IRL sitting next to you bored, while you are in VR.
Enjoyable game for two people, not the hardest of riddles though you'll get stuck here and there. Especially the cooperation has been well implemented with barely any exceptions; VR and non VR are equally engaging and fun to do, so no issue about fighting for the headset.
Overall, it took us three hours to get through the coop campaign yet apparently more are in the works and there is a single player one as well.
Pretty much bug free apart from a little glitch here and there though none game breaking. A little on the expensive side for the current time you need for a play through, but I reckon another game as the other side (VR/non VR) is still fun to do. Let's hope more get's added and if it does, I can whole heartedly recommend the game for an evening together.
