About the Game
Main character in The Great Wobo Escape is robot named Wobo. He is alone, unarmed, and escaping for freedom, his only chance is to hide in shadows, use the environment to his favor and crush dieselpunk enemy robots. Stealth approach may quickly shift into fast-paced escape combined with creating diversion, causing chaos and avoiding tricky hazards.The Great Wobo Escape combines stealth with action-oriented gameplay and a subtle sci-fi story (How much intelligent must robots become to deserve freedom?). Game is approachable by young audience.
Cloud Saves & Progress
Unfortunately, we do not support cloud saves - please note this as you delete the game, your stats and collectibles will be lost.All 8 levels are available from the start. You are free to play them in any order you want... although we suggest to go from 1st to the last ;)
Controls

All screenshots represent typical gameplay, were take in Full HD (native 1920x1080) using in-game settings and were not enhanced or altered in any way. Game has been tested to perform 60+ FPS in 4k with Intel i7 7700k @ 4.5GHz, GTX 970 (MSI), 16GB DDR4 RAM (just for a reference).Czech language

A little bit short, but a good game :)
The Great Wobo Escape side-scrolling casual game with light stealth elements, its a game that feels aimed at a younger gamer.

You play as Wobo - a newly made robot on a remote mining station, a station controlled by robots. Your goal is to escape the station, as Wobo soon learns that staying will result in his destruction. The story is light, but there are 2 cut scenes that try to explain why Wobo and the station exists.
Movement is left and right on the controller or keyboard, with a jump, an interact button and a sneak. Game mechanics are clearly explained by billboards when something new is encountered. It is not an overly technical game though, which lends it towards a younger gamer or someone who has no (or very little) experience with side scrolling or platform gaming.
The game involves no overt violence, when Wobo is captured or falls from a height, his arms, legs and head pop off and the game reloads from the last save point. This is another thing that I feel makes it a good game for a younger gamer, there was nothing in the game that would make me not want to let my own children have a turn.
There are 3 difficulty levels, an Easy level when you can use the MANY save points littered throughout a stage. A Hardcore setting that puts you back to the start of a stage if you die and a Time Attack mode where you can try to beat a defined counter per stage. All stages have the optional mission of saving other robots - "Woblings" - which provide a points bonus to your score.
Game length will vary depending on your own abilities, but on the hardcore mode it took me about 2 hours to complete the 8 stages. The price is about right with the current discount and am happy to recommend it, I feel a younger gamer will get a lot of value from this title.
