Мы планируем закончить игру в срок около трех месяцев. Но точно сказать сложно - всё зависит от активности сообщества и слаженности тестирования апдейтов.
Главной фичей игры является возможность влиять на мир вокруг - исследовать Пустошь, отправлять наемников на рейды, основывать новые точки по продаже оружия, защищать их и нападать на других торговцев. Конечной целью игрока будет тотальный контроль над Пустошью, с экономической и силовой позиций.
Также, патроны станут валютой и основным ресурсом в игре, привнеся в игру микроменеджмент и предоставив игроку возможность самостоятельно решать - желает ли он заниматься войной, или торговлей, или всем понемногу.
Цена игры возростет после релиза полной версии игры.
Мы очень нуждаемся в отзывах сообщества по поводу ошибок и вылетов игры, а также в предложениях по улучшению геймплея и введению нового контента.
Новое оружие? Новые мутанты? Новые локации? Мы готовы реализовать любой каприз!

My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old.
When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of you. In fact, I may have played this game for only a day or two. That being said, after doing so, I had a new joy and hope for life. I managed to leave behind the pain and suffering that had been thrust upon me. I could experience the joy and happiness of other people. I relaxed for 5 ♥♥♥♥ minutes listening to this music, long enough to realize that I would be okay.
After realizing this, I turned off the game and went back to work. My hand hurt a lot, but I was motivated. I stopped feeling so sorry for myself and became the father I needed to be at that moment, not the weak boy I was behaving like.
Today, I am close friends with the mother of my children. We don't fight, argue, or say hurtful things to each other. We are parents and friends.
Now I have 3 children. My third child is, wait, ALSO 4 YEARS OLD. The woman I am with was going through a very similar situation at the time of my separation, and we just unexpectedly stumbled into each other's lives. We have been dating for a year and are very happy together.
Moral of the story: you never know what life has in store for you, and if I had given up when all odds were against me, I wouldn't be where I am today. This silly little game helped me realize that.

While I really want to like this game, sadly it is very broken and not even playable at some points. The game is dead for 5 years and the developer has abandoned it. Seems his account he connected the game to is heavily private and connected to an Russian account and Russian publisher who produces incomplete games connected to a Mega collection of shady games so I would not be surprised if he's a shady developer who produces very broken games to just sell. Plus it is manually put on sale, so he is actively trying to scam people with spring and summer sales, the hack. Almost a majority of the reviews are fake as well due to most of them having the early access tag connected to them, which is a common tactic to boost the rating before and after a games release.
As some people mentioned, it seems the game is using an earlier build of the game than what it should have released with. Plus several features the game was suppose to come with aren't even available such as the war room or the repair bench. Depending on what happens you could also get a crash either from raiders trying to raid your shop through a hidden influence counter and depending on either what gun you buy that require the repair bench OR if you sell guns in large qualities to groups. I've only managed to get one group to come in a buy weapons in bulk. The developer himself even tells people to just play the game and avoid the bugs through literal use of a guide on the forums ; which is stupid.
Don't buy this game. Just look for another game to spend your 1.99 (0.99 since it's seems to be always on sale).
I did really like the game, is pretty fun to past the time. But unfortunaly it's pretty bad at general. I only played it 5h because I sometimes forgot the bad experience it is, in a long run.

It's an unfinished flash game tier creation you have no control over and that has not been updated in a long period of time. This deserves to be ignored.

This game is very interesting, but it need some fixes and I'm here to talk about that. So first things first, an update. This game hasn't had an update since 2017, it's been 3 years now. The game could definitely use some new content or mechanics, like for example, more weapons, store decorations or even if it's possible, a manual save system. The game just feels a bit dull and repetitive after a while, especially with the grey and dark atmosphere of the store and the mundane routine that starts to get remarkably boring a few hours into the game, so store decorations and more weapons would make the gameplay feel more varied and interesting. About the save feature, it's more of a second option if you can't add more variety into the game. Why is that, you might ask? Because if it does eventually get boring, I would want to quit or take a break from the game for a moment, but I can't do that if I'm in the middle of the day because all the progress would be lost, as the game only ever saves during your sleep. After all that, mores sprite would be cool too, as there's like 3 NPC sprites that are used over and over, and make the experience way more generic, so a few more sprites (say, 3 per type) would add a lot to the gameplay. Also, not important or necessary, but a bit more detail to the sprites themselves (if possible) would be nice. Like multicolor clothing, and more facial features (not things like eyes or mouths, as the game's art style is supposed to be more minimalistic). At last, one thing that would change the way the game feels is a more "durable" gameplay type. With manual saves, extra store features and ramp-up difficulty, the game would feel less like a disposable mini-game and more like a life-long experience that goes on forever and has more ways of keeping your progress. Overall, I can't give a rating because the game still needs a LOT more content to be considered "finished", even if it's no longer in development, it doesn't feel right to give a rating to something that needs more time to work.
buggy can't get achievements because the main one for "raider" is broke.. don't purchase until they've fixed the acheivements at least.
This is a gun trading game with some very minor base building and zombie defense. It's also buggy and unfinished.
The base gameplay mechanic reminds me heavily of the Taloon chapter of Dragon Quest IV. In that chapter, you sit in your shop waiting for people to stop by your shop. Ultimately, you're saving money to fulfill a dream. Incidentally, I'm fond of that Chapter.
Vendor Chronicles is rather similar. Except, there's no story or connection of any sort to the protagonist or the grand scheme of things. Also, you construct turrets and hire mercenaries to defend your little hide-out from the hordes of undead that aggressively visit you every few nights.
I suppose it's not that similar after all.

Boy, that last part was annoying. Regretfully, it's not the only bug I ran into.
Bugs about trading...
Buying and selling both play through the same mini-game of stopping the spinner at the right place. I noticed a bug that if you had several weapons of the same type and sold one, you'd somehow lose all of them instead of just the one.

Then, if you were building something (likely a turret) when a zombie attack struck, the gameplay loop would get stuck, and no customers would arrive over the whole day. Only way to fix this was to restore the save.

Game would sometimes randomly crash before or after the zombie attack. At least once this broke my save as well, forcing a restart from the beginning. After the second time I quit.
When zombie attack works (to be fair, it did most of the time), you can only watch the turrets and mercs (and potentially yourself) shoot at them and hope the defense is enough. There's no tactics involved, nor much strategy besides putting a lot of defenses ready.
Likely unfinished
Besides all the bugs, there are also missing promised (according to Store page) features.
It seems that "the raiders" (supposedly human attackers) aren't implemented in the game, or they were removed lately, thus possibly rendering one achievement broken.
Repair bench was also removed before the final release due to bugs in its implementation.
It surely appears that the game has been released out of early access before properly testing and implementing all the intended features.
Other notes
All of the above bugs and problems have already been reported in the forums with no response or action from the devs.
Music is okay but just one loop that gets boring after a while.
Pixel graphics is decent but repetitive: all zombies look the same, as do all the customers of certain type.
Disappointing conclusions
After playing a few nights (and avoiding crashes) you can get an endless money flow underway but without a proper end game besides "conquering the wasteland".
This works by sending mercs on a mission. Then they'd bring weapons if successful or die trying, with nothing else to do to influence their mission. Since that's it, you'll have experienced all there is to the game in less than an hour.
There is (was?) some potential here but it doesn't look like the rest of it is ever going to be fleshed out. Thus, sadly I can't recommend it in its current state, even considering the inexpensive price.

DO NOT BUY!
Devs have abandoned the game while it still contains game breaking bugs that cause crashes and erase game saves.
It does NOT contain a "repair" feature and does NOT have raiders, making the "What's Mine is Mine!" achievement unattainable.
I mean, its pretty okay. its not bad its not great. but if you are looking to waste some time, then sure. its worth the money (bought on sale) and hey, i got some cards from it. so that is pretty nice. over all *shrug*
If you're buying this because you're an achievement hunter and think this looks like an easy-completion... Don't.
Hell, even if you're not; just don't.
This game is tedious, boring, riddled with bugs and crashes on a regular basis. Oh, and it regularly wipes your save data as well - or crashes when you try to load a save.
The gameplay is minimal and repetitive, the game is 1% base/resource management and 99% quick-time events.
The devs don't appear to be interested in fixing the bugs that multiple people have reported.
So, in conclusion, don't buy this game.
There is a "line" between what I think should be allowed to be sold on Steam and what, for me, it's not worthy of being sold.
Ok, the game cost little to nothing... and then?
It makes no sense at all to sell this on Steam, it's a game that would have worth much more as a web browser/mobile game!
Too simple, too fast, too little contents...
There is a market for every type of games and contents.

Simple hotspot game where you spend ressources to make stations that generate coin. With generated coin you can trigger mouse QTE style twitch events to buy stuff at lower prices and sell it higher. Unfortunately due to a bug or an issue I often could not adjust prices or negotiate making a great deal of the game not very functional. Eventually you are meant to be able to amass enough ressoures to keep a stock of weapons, hire some mercs and send them on missions. The overall quality was a little bit on the low side with few things to do or manage and I would recommend Sheltered over this. It has better mechanics, cooler random events and is just the better game overall.
Desolate Wastes: Vendor Chronicles is a bit of a different take on the post-apocalyptic genre than we're used to. Sure it's still dreary and gray but rather than fighting your way through hordes of monsters you're running a small shop. You still gotta mow down a few baddies along the way but most of your time is spent dealing with customers either requesting a specific type of gun or trying to sell you something they found. You can negotiate the price and if you attempt to get a better deal, you usually have to play a game. The game consists of a circle and an arrow spinning around it - land in the small colored section and you're one step closer to getting a good deal. The harder the deal the more times you need to land in the correct spot - each time getting smaller and faster.
As you make money from your deals you get the opportunity to build a few more items and add them to your shop. Things such as a bar or gambling table - things that will net you extra money and allow you to hire some extra muscle to protect you. And you'll need it as the game gets a bit more difficult and you may find yourself rushing to finish things and making a few errors here and there.
Desolate Wastes isn't the prettiest game. It isn't the most intuitive. But there's something charming and fun about it - at least for awhile. If you're into resource management or trading type games then this will probably be something that interests you. It's not gonna break the bank and you'll most likely get your money's worth.

Note: this game need to have moving furniture feature so people can fix their "first day" problem + need to fix the bug cause buyer and seller gone up stair (it is creep me out if that happen to me when people violate me when i need privacy). overall: fix and then feature something the game basically need . played for less 30 min then i know these basic problem . rate(for early access time): 5.5/10

This is an addictive little trading game, and right now the price is screaming "buy me" :)
Ok, so the gist of it is buy low, sell high, protect your stuff from bandits and zombies.
This game isn't for everyone, as the trading system has a little minigame based on timing that may be difficult for some. When the trade begins, a circle appears... a marker flies around the circle, and you have to stop it within a certain area for a "success". This is repeated as many times as discerned by the "trade difficulty", a number set by your pricing offer on said trade.. I myself am not that great at the minigame, so I stay at difficulty 2.. and find that I make enough profit to get by.
Also, at the time I am writing this, there is a game breaking bug or two in the game that leads to crashes... mostly they're avoidable if you're aware of them, but they're annoying nonetheless. However, there was swift response from the developer on them, he seems to have a good idea whats wrong, and I'm hoping the bugs will be fixed rather soon after the holidays. I'll try to remember to edit this review once they're fixed.
Anyway, once the major bugs are fixed, this game is definitely worth a buy for its low price.
For now, I'm going to give a thumbs up, in the belief that the bugs will be fixed soon. Again, I'll try to remember to come back and edit this review if that ends up not being the case.
This is a fun little game about running a gun shop in a zombie post appocalypse. Success on trades is determined in a manner similar to the old golf games where you click a meter at the right time. Buy low, sell high, higher mercs, bribe generals. Zombies attack your gun store, so you have to maintain defenses.
Game has GREAT potential. I want to love the game, I know its in alpha but it needs heavy fixing! They're so many bugs like when bandits rob you they some of them dont go away making it impossible to continue, another price setting sometimes when you scroll it does this redicilous randomly changing number or it allows you to go to a certain price. They're couple more but I wouldn't recommend this game if you don't wanna deal with bugs. Developer you read this please comment saying you're gonna continue this game please do! Give me some hope. I can only rate this game 6/10 right now.
Fun little game and I"m interested to see if more is added. A couple glitches, don't build things to close together like the gun cabinet and the repair bench or you won't be able to repair. I was able to pay 1 percent for guns several times which I"m not sure is correct. Overall the game is a unique little tower defense game for wasteland fans!
Interesteing concept, although the UI isn't very intuitive, a better tutorial would help. Also perhaps keyboard controls?
Needs a lot of work yet. could be an alright little game. but right now it is far from finished. only buy if you know what an early access game is.
