Грамотный подход к выбору варианта маскировки позволит снизить уровень видимости, и избежать дополнительного урона.

If you want to buy this game thinking you can play it with your HOTAS, don't.
Even though the game recognizes my HOTAS, it's absolutely unplayable as the functions are completely random. (for example, moving my throttle up will make the plane go to the left) I've tried everything to reconfigure the input, but all I can do is change the keyboard mapping. Not the stick.
I've spent over half an hour in the settings, but with 0 result. I gave up. This was wasted money as I never even got to play the game at all, and I really bought this game purely because I wanted to play more games with my HOTAS.
Broken game! Used to work fine but now screen goes Black after a minute of play. Dev's don't care!
There is a porblem is when I start this game in "1920*1080 P Full Screen", the bottom of my Windows 10 Professor is not exit right now even I can hold my mouse to there and click.
2022.4.01 Update：I update my windows 10 professor to version 20H1 and I could finally play this game in true full screen. However I must say it is not a qualified game at the least.
First, the game tried to combine the Ace Combat(Especially Assault Horizon), Blaze Angel and even Air Conflicts then add some their own ideas, but truely failed. The game's Degree of completion so low that made me reminded a doujin game of THUNDER FORCE V named BROKEN THUNDER in 2008——yeah, this game had the same mistakes like the BT: the hoax to their players and too many bugs that could made the game shut down. In 1943 we could only driving P-51C but not P-51D（And we can not use the bule nose painting like AI teammate), while we can even use C-47 and even CR.42. And why ONLY P-38 AND F-4U couldn't handle twice anti air missile strikes，it is no fair. AI wingman is not so useful, he/she can't help you get rid the enemy behind you, and can't bomb the target automaticly. The wrongest thing in this game is when you have to fly into the tunnel, your plane will become too heavy to control so you will be crashed by times before you finally complete you mission!
I cannot believe that after 10 years there is a man could get the same mistake as Hyakutaro Tsukumo ever got again. It is not a game you would like to paid.Unless you're a man who is so boring to find a complex of wrong and bugs to do like me.
This COULD have been a fun little arcade flight sim game but it is completely ruined by unfair immersion breaking time limits lack of controller support and default wonky controls. I cant make it past the second checkpoint on the third mission because they dont give you enough time to complete it. its the third mission! did anyone play test this?? You should fail a mission because you where shot down or failed to defend an objective not because some arbitrary counter that pops up in the middle of a dog fight. Thats just lazy! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS TRASH!
It's just the worst flight game i'd ever played. You can't just make people runs in a freaking time limit, You need to give them some time to track and shot. You've gave me 4-5 minutes to shot 10-13 fighter with 2 or 4 MG. IT JUST NOTHING WITH WASTING MY TIME CAN MONEY!
I like the story for this game, and have tried playing it a few times. Unfortunately there are several things that make the game difficult to play. Maybe this is due to GamePad or Mouse sensitivity, but I don't seem to have these types of issues with other games.
This is very interesting thing... For every pro, there's a con that takes the pro out of the picture.
On top of that, the devs seemed to have completely abandoned the game and not listening to player feedback at all.
Now let's begin with the list of Pros and their corresponding Cons.
PRO: Controls are fluid and responsive.
CON: The above statement is only valid when you use a gamepad; however, even if you use one, you CANNOT REMAP its awkward buttons scheme, which is atrocious to say the least. Don't even try to play this with keyboard + mouse.
PRO: The graphics are great.
CON: Extremely limited graphic options, lack of fullscreen support (only supports either few or none of your resolutions).
PRO: The audio sounds pretty nice and exciting.
CON: The audio quality is very bad, and voice acting is all over the place, lip-sync is terrible.
PRO: It's Ace Combat + Blazing Angels!
CON: It's also every thing bad from both games to the factor of 10.
PRO: The game is actually pretty fun.
CON: But only for 1/3 of the time when you're actually shooting stuff. The bombing, the spying, and everything else are the opposite of fun. Especially if you take into account that there's a TIMER that basically serves to extinguish any fun to be had.
PRO: It can have up to 85%-off discounts.
CON: Yeah, sure, but getting yourself a hotdog probably gives you more satisfaction than playing this game.
I believe that sums this game up pretty nicely.
If you are determined to play this game, my recommendation is: wait for there's a trainer or mod, and get yourself a program to rebind button controls.
Don't fall for any special price on this game! I spent 7.50 and after spending 2 days configuring my HOTAS can't make it through a single mission without the computer crashing/freezing or blue screen (BSOD). Really wanted something like Blazing Angels or Heroes over Europe. Look elsewhere.

The game simply doesn't boot up the campaign, arcade mode or free flight. I tried 5 times, everytime sitting through the pretty long loading screen. This is a shame, because I was willing to give this game a try, depsite the extremely negative reviews. Atleast the other reviewers got to see some flight action...
god awfull is all i have to say. have fun trying to fly in a straight line or even bomb something. high potential game clearly not used anywhere near its max, decent graphic could be improved but the flight mechanics of the game... wellill just say hope you are not affectedby motion sickness of anything alike. Hope you have alot of patiance cos youll be stopped ever 2 mins for "assistance" and having to constantly have to go back and forth for one objective as said abovethe flight mechanics inthe game are so dodgy added with the tracking mechanic the stop you flying properlly all together.
[The Bad]
- Extremely long load time when starting the game.
- Free Flight map looks large but blocked by invisible walls which forces your plane down if you don't turn back.
- All enemies planes cheat; they have phantom turrets that can shoot back.
- Keyboard and mouse control can't be changed.
- Awkward default controls; [Home] accelerate [End] decelerate. Why can't we just have W & S?
- Keyboard and mouse control don't work properly; you can't assign order to wingmen using the suggested keys. Therefore wingmen idle beside you.
- Enemy AI too good, friendly AI too dumb.
- Arbitrary mission timers that make no sense and serve no purpose other than to frustrate and make you fail.
The Good
- Impressive visuals.
- Nice music
- Good voice acting
- Three separate volume controls for music, voice and sound effects.

Why the heck won't the keys work for wingmen orders? If there is no timer, at least we can pick-off the enemies one by one.
4/10 All the niceties mean nothing if there's a game breaking bug that prevents further progress. And the damn mission timers, poor design decision. No option to redefine keys, wut? Fail, an exercise in frustrations. Not worth time or money spent.
Update 1
I found out why the suggested keys don't work; the in-game tutorial give wrong information!!! Made me waste a ton of time and made me mad for nothing!!! It's not Rt-Ctrl + 8 or 2 it's Rt-Ctrl + Up or Down arrow keys!!! Blatant carelessness like these make people hate your game for nothing and not addressing the problem or finding out why people leave negative reviews makes it worse. Really, if only you had looked into it and at least inform your customers your mistakes quickly, you could've avoided unnecessary negative reviews.
Alright, 6/10, no game-breaking bug but barely ok. Still hate the timers though. I'm changing it to recommended but only for fans of 3D combat flight games. No difficulty adjustment coupled with the punitive timers make it only suitable for hardcore gamers not casuals.

The idea of an RPG with a WW2 aircrafts sounds great. But the handling is awefull. I was about to throw my flightstick out of the window because it did everything but what i wanted him to do. Even installed my old IL-2 just to compare. And no its not the flightstick....
However the handling of the aircrafts seems to be more precise when using keyboard or maybe a gamecontroller, but I will not use a keyboard or gamecontroller for flying planes.
Imagine a game built entirely around Assault Horizon's dogfight mode. Well, here it is. Everything you shoot at triggers a mode where you slip in behind your enemy and shoot at them while your plane essentially steers itself and does all the hard work of tailing your opponent for you. It wasn't fun in Assault Horizon, and it certainly isn't made more fun by having to use it to take out every single target. In addition, if you lead a target well enough, it triggers this mode and you slide in behind them, regardless of where you were shooting at them from.
The game also uses a system where you switch between the two pilots. Which sounds cool, but really isn't. Whichever pilot you aren't playing sticks right with you, so they'll be almost exactly where you were anyway when you switch. They also nag you to "give them a target". At first, I was looking for wingman orders like in Ace Combat 5 and Zero, but turns out they were just yelling at me to switch and play them for no real reason. So no real advantage to having two, as far as I can tell. The only reason to switch seems to be that Amelia is the one with bombs. And the bombing system is fantastically unintuitive, but I'll talk about that more later.
I can't speak for the story, as I'm not all that far, so I'll update this once I've finished. So far though, it comes off as rushed. Kind of like a game in Early Access. Which is a shame, because I at least appreciate what they're trying to do.
And while I can't comment much on story yet, the characters have been pretty offputting. Jack has been very "there" and not much else. He's unremarkable, which may be why his having to chime in everytime he kills something got on my nerves pretty fast. Generic one-liners one after the other. But that's not anything in comparison to Amelia. Right out of the gate, it was obvious she was going to be the generic "strong female" character that pops up in fiction when the writer has no idea how to actually create a strong female character. She's just the trope; there's no actual character attached to it. So neither of them are interesting, but that isn't the real problem. The real problem is while I was shooting ground targets with Amelia, the one-liner she dropped was "Oops, I did it again". And yes, she said it just like the Britney Spears song. And yes, I did caugh up blood.
Lastly, the bombing controls. When you switch to bombs, it siwtches to look beneath your plane at two red circles. These circles move about if you are moving, and line up when you steady to make your bombing crossair. The issue here is that you can't see where you are going or if you are lined up with the target. And when you adjust, the circles scatter. Which wouldn't be a huge deal, but here's the thing: It doesn't matter if you're over the target area, and eyeball the shot on top of the target. It doesn't matter if you are so low to the ground you can't miss. If the circles aren't lined up when you drop the bomb, you miss the target. A two way road, actually, since you can be super high up and hit the target fine as long as they line up. It's a bad mechanic that is more about using the targeting system they have in place than actually hitting your target.
So that's my opinion. The gameplay is tedious, and it just isn't fun. The story is uninteresting, the characters are uninteresting, and there's nothing that really stands out. The game looks good while playing, but that's offset by the cutscenes and the odd way everyone delivers their lines.
I'll update after I finish, but I really don't see a reason to pick it up. And I don't expect that will change.
Iron Wings is a solid and enjoyable game let down a little by presentation.
You play as Jack and Amelia, 2 pilots during World War 2. The game is similar to Ace Combat without obviously any missiles. The control scheme is simplified but still makes it enjoyable to fly and is easy to pick up. The game is a decent length taking me just short of 10 hours to complete the campaign. There is also a good degree of variety in the missions and new elements introduced along the way.
The presentation is a little odd. There are numerous gramatical errors and odd word choices in both the subtitles and voice acting. It can be a little jarring but I found it quite endearing. The graphics are pretty impressive for an indie and are on par with Assault Horizon.
There are multiple planes to fly but they don't really feel all that different. As there is no information on the planes about speed or manouverability to help you choose I assume they are really just skins of the base model.
So if you enjoy Ace Combat and want something similarly arcadey and a little quirky then I would recommend this title. It's probably a sale title for most.
Where to begin? this game have potential, but everything feels wrong
Pros:
- good graphics for a small 1gb game
- Decent Cockpit details
- Plane Color Customization is pretty nice to look at
Cons:
- Shitty Dogfight system (Like Ace Combat Assault Horizon's DFM mode), where almost every gun kill have to go through this system.
- Badly implemented multi character system (Rather than force 2 characters in one fight, why not two seperate stories or you pick who will you play as?) and if you use the other one, the one you didnt use starts to Beg for you to use them, this isnt like any Flight game where you play in a squad/team where they at least let you give orders to the other person
- Horrible Bomb mechanics and bomb camera
- Bad Optimization (Have to Run at a windowed and lowered resolution on my Gtx 950M, cant go fullscreen and 1080p)
- Shitty Default Controls, and un rebindable (unless you have to go through a .ini File)
- pretty confusing missions ( The mission in the Canyon chasing the P-80s is a bad example, your character says that he'll follow the target, yet the objective tells me to shoot it down)
- I dont know how to say this but if a plane have multiple guns, only two of them will fire (example only 2 guns of the spitfire's wings will fire instead of four of them"
- And pretty bad cutscene
If you're going to buy this to scratch that Crimson skies itch, then this wont satisfy it although it can scratch that itch if its properly made
Pros:
Graphics are beautiful
Music and general mood are optimistic and uplifting
The game seems to be trying with some new ideas for mechanics
You can replay missions (but you don't get anything for doing so)
Cons:
First of all, you MUST have a controller to play this game. It doesn't work with a keyboard and mouse.
Controls cannot be customized
I found at least one bug in the first mission. During the part where you are supposed to follow a radio signal (not really a good mechanic in how it's executed btw) screen fades to black so although the mission continues, you can't see where you are going. I tried restarting the checkpoint many times and the same problem persisted so I closed the game and did it again and this time, it worked.
EXTREMELY long loading times
If you replay missions, you don't get any money for doing it. Very disappointing since I wanted to buy a better plane before moving on in the story.
This game is terrible. Repetitive cutscenes during gameplay, which is poor and more repetitive than re-runs of Dragonball Z. It is guaranteed that you will lose missions, either due to friendly ai incompetence, or the lack of balanced gameplay. The story attempts what I can only imagine is some alternate timeline because its full of ahistorical moments. I can't even remember the music, but the character audio is a weak point of the game, which is a shame since the two main characters talk so damn much!
For reference, I played up to the 3rd-4th(?) mission before calling it quits for good. This game is way too repetitive, killing any enjoyment I may have had.
Favorite moments of the game include:
-*After shooting down an enemy* "THAT'S ONE MORE LESS!"
-Spelling a P-38 Lightning "Lightening"
-Enemy planes can shoot at you regardless if you are behind, below, or beside them. This includes any aircraft that had forward-firing only weapons.
This is a quick early review to give the game a deserved thumbs up! Look at the total time played by the negative reviews, people aren't even getting into the dogfights before they refund and write a bad review. It's very arcadey (in a cool way), but looks fantastic and is a blast in dogfights and I haven't had any problems, except 1 freeze up. Totally different from other games I've played, there is a learning curve for some missions, but older gamers shouldn't mind replaying missions to finish them and there are checkpoint restarts.
Check it out for yourself, but the 2 hour refund policy seems to hurt a game like this where you need to learn a few things before they give you access to the good stuff. I wish more was unlocked to start with, but you have to unlock some stuff and buy other planes and upgrades with money earned in the game.
After 7 hours of play I am still enjoying the new missions and even though the story and the character voices are a little cheesey (but aren't most arcade games) you only need to listen to them one time in a cut scene and then skip them (the skip is available right away).
I would recommend this game for everyone who loves small state of art arcade dogfight games. it is a pretty conservative game by design and development and i see huge time investment from this small 2-person studio. Also it is the great example of a custom engine graphics which looks surprisingly well, some shaders are absolutely amazing (like rain/water/ sun effects). This game also has the best cockpit i have ever seen in flight simulators. Shame it's "hidden" by the need to press "back" button.
The graphics is unique and pretty realistic, ground detail is also really great (you can also hear cows say "moo" when you fly close to the ground :-).
I'm not about to start Nvidia vs AMD war here, but it is pretty usual to see "game broken" from the green guys on steam these days as well as performance issues from people with 1080 cards. I would recommend people who experience technical issues not to use negative reviews as a bugreport or at least, cooperate with the developers because people who made their own engine are clearly good enough to make it work on your device too. It is simply impossible to fix all isues in advance, so be patient - even AAA titles have lots of technical issues nowadays.
Had zero problems on AMD 480 rx, ~150-180 fps on high settings.
Some people here complain about voice acting / story. Found nothing to worry about, voice acting is okay, facial animations are handmade but still better than ME:A. Did not finish the story yet, butI don't think that story really matters in arcade dogfight games, also i would rather see all arcade levels unlocked instead of going through the whole story.
The gameplay is alright here, remniscient of Heroes of the Pacific. It could have used some more polish, but it's a fun time. It really should be noted more clearly that a controller is needed, but since I have one, no big deal for me.
But the story, dialogue, voice acting, cut scenes, missions... basically anything on the non-graphical artistic side... are so bad as to be distracting. I mean it's baaaaad. I've been trying to discover if this is an English translation of a Japanese game or something, because the difference in quality between the gameplay and the story are stark in a way I think I've never seen before. Maybe X2 was this bad, they couldn't even get the 3d model skeletons to stay inside bodies... this at least has that bit covered.
Subtitles only would be a huge improvement. Hell, literally removing the story would help. Playing while muted strongly recommended, if at all.
