Interesting traditional roguelike; but it doesn't fully explore its potential. The biggest problem, shared by many other roguelikes, is the initial part of the game not being rich and diverse enough to justify its roguelike run based structure. The sad thing is, the posession mechanic could actually be a part of the solution, if there was a wider variety of enemies and if only some were present in each run (turning the mechanic into a kind of draft). Instead there are few types of enemies and they are always present in a pre-set order throughout the dungeon. Therefore, the runs become extremely repetitive (and the item by itself system is not enough to prevent this).

Recommended on sale if you want to try a creative take on traditional roguelikes.

Game is good, but every run feels exactly the same, you won't lose out on the experience if you play the non-permadeath mode. The controls are nice though so that is a plus.

It's a good game, with a mechanic I adore, but its a bad traditional roguelike.

what a disappointment, I wish they invested more into this game besides cheesy mechanics. I wish the story was longer and and provided more. Feels like a quick cash grab with these type of similar feeling games being frequent enough in 2024.

I'm super confused, nothing is explained well, but the game is actually pretty good
