10/10, most useful product I've bought on Steam.
I haven't actually played the game, but it allowed me to continue my ESO subscription.
What? Well...
Steam failed to process my subscription payment because I had no payment methods saved on my account. And I reaaally don't want to add a debit card, and for some god forsaken reason you cannot add PayPal as a payment method unless you actually go to the checkout when buying a game.
So there I was, sorting the Steam Store by lowest price, and came across this beauty for only 0,39€ at a 90% discount. What a steal!
Excited about the thought of unlocking my ESO Craft Bag, I added iREC to my cart, entered the checkout, and made sure to SAVE my paypal info this time. And BOOM! ESO subscription successfully processed.
Thank you iREC for saving me in my time of need.
game doesnt work and is in different language. Waste of money
Pretty shitty game but it was 39 cents so was not expecting much
only intresting and scary thing in this game is the sex doll on the floor, thank you.

Nothing too exciting here. A short puzzler. No issues with gameplay. Grabbed it for 49 cents. Reasonable for an hour or so of playtime.
Played on Linux using Proton, Graphics are a bit poor, Sound was okay, Game play was okay'ish, Some puzzle where hard to figure out, Not really a horror Game and 1 or 2 possible jump scares, Did not make me jump but i can see others might jump at them, It's more of a room escape game but not limited to 1 room, I got 84 minutes out of the Game so that's a plus, if your clever and can figure out the puzzle's quick then your get about 40-50 Minutes i guess.
I only Recommend the Game on Sale and if your looking for something to play.

This game is absolutely abysmal, one of the worst I have ever played. I felt ripped off even though I only spent 39p on this.
Not as bad as the usual shovelware, but not good enough to be worth recommending.
At first, the puzzles were somewhat hard to understand but then you get the hang of it and its not that bad and kind of clever. But then i was stuck in the final hall for about 45min trying to understand what to do next, having no clues on how to continue. I managed to finish the game but not in a way that i would want to. Meaning i had to look up for certain code in a youtube walkthrough, and the guy too said to not ask him where he find it, and i hated that i had to look it up somewhere else.(BTW, i played it twice, the first playthrough i gave up finding clues in the hallway, the 2nd time i got it from a youtube walkthrough) I like hard to crack puzzles but lurking around in a hallway for 45min and not finding any clue... its kind of dissappointing. I wouldnt call it a horror game because of 1 and a half semi-jumpscares. i dont mind the graphics but it would be great if interactions werent buggie.
Overall i give this game 5/10.
In iREC, you play as an unnamed narcotics police officer who has decided to completely bypass the usual protocol of waiting for a search warrant, and instead opts to go with the good 'ol illegal "break and enter" procedure to investigate a logistics company, AtlasLog, that is suspected of trafficking drugs. Though in reality, that's as much as the developer of this title gives in the way of story; only a handful of e-mails, none relevant to any sort of plot, are found within the actual game.
Let's go ahead and get the good out of the way, because there's a lot of bad that we're going to have to cover here. iREC actually does have decent visuals and optimization. Running on my i7 6700k/GTX 1080 rig, I maintained a solid 130-144 FPS at all times in 1080p resolution, with graphic settings on high. The graphics and lighting are nothing to jump up and down about, but they do help set up a realistic tone and atmosphere for the 40-60 minute duration of this title. That's pretty well the extent of the good here, now on to the bad.
While I'm all for a game with little to no handholding, the amount of cryptic and hidden-away puzzle solutions within iREC is absolutely unfounded. A large portion of the people who've played this title become stuck within the first few minutes, while others become permanently stuck due to glitches and bugs. All but one puzzle is numerical based, with the odd-man-out being of the circular match variety. Therefore, if you're not good with math and numbers, you're not going to have a good time; there is not something here for everyone. It's hard to even classify this title as 'horror', given that there are only two or three jumpscares throughout the entire game; the rest is just droning ambiance and darkened hallways.
Now let's talk about the entirely irrelevant inclusion of pro-Trump, pro-Hitler, anti-gay propaganda. It's minimal, but it's there, and it's never out of the way to find. In fact, to progress in the early part of the game you must find a DVD; once you put it into the player, you will be greeted with an entire 7+ minute film of one of Hitler's speeches. Now, it would be more understandable to include some of these things if the antagonist was some Nazi skinhead fascist... but nothing ever eludes to that. There's really no plot at all, and the game has only two short, disappointing endings to boot.
In short, don't support this garbage. Nothing here makes sense, and definitely not in a "oh that's so artsy fartsy and creative that it needs to be looked at from an artistic perspective" kind of way. It's full of prepubescent troll fodder, masquerading around as a "horror" game. There's nothing funny about millions of people who were violently killed after being put through hell on Earth, and there's nothing scary about this piece of soiled toilet paper.
Rating: 0.5/5.0 - Abysmal, avoid it like the plague.

Very strange game not very long there are 2 endings do I recommend it have a look on Youtube for the playthrough dont watch to much as you might make it to the end or fall asleep.
Short game time, painful puzzles, only 2 scary moments the whole game. I could buy csgo skins in the money but I bought "this".....why?

Some of the puzzles could have been made better, had a great lay out but the use of rooms and items was disapointing, I wish there was a bit more of a story line (it had a cool idea, it just wasn't executed well.)

iREC is clearly made by a developer who wants to troll those looking for a horror experience, and make the 12 year olds on youtube laugh with enjoyment. The game is so inconsistent from all fronts. Front having poorly executed puzzles, to having random Hitler propaganda playing on a dvd player, to a secret message supporting Trump, to some random naked chick next to a dildo. Nothing makes sense, and not in the funny way. For a game trying to be a horror game, nothing is actually scary or gives the player a sense of dread. The game was made by a developer who is clearly out to garner the attention of loud mouth youtubers, and titillate the children that watch them.
This is a horrible game and I hope the developer never makes another anything ever again. I'm going to refund this scummy game and spend it on some other most likely lackluster game... Do not waste your money on this armpit of a fraud...
Laughably short, puzzles barely make any sense. Not scary in the slightest. Avoid at all costs
This isn't a review just my opinion.
I played the demo to this so I thought I would give it a go, I got stuck in the first room and It took me a while to figure out the code for the pc.
There is a bug i think though when you get the keycard it lets you swipe it next to the door but won't let you enter dont know why/

I was hoping this game would be good, but unfortunately, it's poorly made and bugged from the first 20 minutes of play. Constant 'ambient' noise was also annoying. Did not add to creep factor, just made me wanna mute the game and figure out the 'puzzles'. There was no music for the portion I played, just the noise of the character trudging through the office as loudly as he could.
0/10 Not worth the money until bugs are fixed and you can get past the first room.
***SPOILERS***
10 minutes of my play was figuring out the password to the computers, which they give you if you press ESC and look in the corner. this seems like a large design flaw as not very many people immediately try to go to the pause menu for information.
The other 10 minutes was trying to figure out why the access key card does not open the ONLY access door on the floor. after running around for 10 minutes checking everything else and finding nothing, and seeing other people have the same issues in the forum, I figured it was just bugged.
