WISHLIST OUR NEW GAME!
About the Game
After an all-out war that took almost 2 millennia and claimed many lives of the Zen - Racket Fury Tournament emerged as the remedy to maintain peace in the Crown Galaxy. A fast-paced, strategic game that became an interplanetary phenomenon, bringing all the Zen together. As an aspiring Zen, you are challenged to join the most prestigious team that dominated the entire competition - the Division of Steel. Are you up for the challenge?TWO MODES TO CHOOSE FROM - FULL SIMULATION AND ARCADE MODE:
Decide for yourself whether you wish to obtain the most accurate or the most entertaining table tennis experience!SINGLEPLAYER EXPERIENCE:
You’re about to face 4 members of the infamous Division of Steel per Cup. Beware! The higher the Cup, the more demanding and troublesome it gets!
There are two separate campaigns to go through - Full Simulation and Arcade.ADVANCED PHYSICS:
As expected in VR, our aim was to address the simulation aspect of the game to provide the real table tennis experience. We spent countless hours on developing our own physics from scratch and tweaking it with professional table tennis players. Based on scientific research, it’s extremely realistic and translates your moves in the most accurate manner.CHALLENGING AI:
Thanks to a particularly advanced Artificial Intelligence in singleplayer, every opponent you’re going to play against will have their own temper and an utterly unique style of play.PRACTICE MODE PRO:
Enhance your skills and become stronger with every match because from now on you can practice like a pro!MOCAP ANIMATIONS:
To deliver the most realistic characters’ movements, we relied upon motion capture data for our animations. The actors participating in the recording were in fact professional table tennis players, which translates each player’s swing into one, fluid motion and makes the rivalry as realistic as possible.MULTIPLAYER:
Racket Fury offers up not only singleplayer campaigns but also multiplayer mode that allows you to challenge the players from every corner of the world and defeat them with your smart strategy and unbeatable technique.WORKSHOP:
Each victory provides you with valuable assets that allow you to develop your unique character. The more skillful you become, the more admirable in your rivals’ eyes you become.
****If you use another headset then Vive or Rift - please make sure you have configured SteamVR controller binding for the game. ****

This is great if you want a solo table tennis training challenge vs. challenging a.i. robots, or if you just want to be able to play some table tennis at home without any equipment, and without the need to have others ready to play it with you. Half of the 16 computer a.i. opponents available are really hard to beat at first (it's more reasonable after you get very good at the game). That's why I call this a "table tennis training challenge." However, if you ignore the crazy difficulty in the Gold Clash and Carbon Fury matches, this is a table tennis VR game that looks great, works great, and feels realistic enough to fool you into thinking that you are playing table tennis like a real "pro" player ;). I played the psvr1 version of this for 50 hours, years ago; the psvr2 version for just 5-8 hours; and now the pc vr version with an HTC Vive Cosmos, and it has always been a well-done table tennis experience. I highly recommend it on discount, or even at full price, if you know that a good table tennis challenge in VR is what you are looking for. I definitely enjoyed it, but make no mistake about it: beating all 16 opponents was seriously difficult material. The first 8 are easy, but the last 8 will be really tough for beginners. Regardless, this is sci-fi VR table tennis done right, and it is one of the best VR sports I ever played (up there with Walkabout golf in terms of realism for the sport).
As an Oculus player, I can't adjust the table because the game tells me to use a button on a Vive controller (no button on the Oculus controllers worked, but there are TWO buttons that open the pause menu).
Sometimes the bot or I got a point basically before anything happened (throw the ball, hit it, and just before it does the first bounce on the opponent's side, the bot or I got a point).
I'm also crap at table tennis.
All in all, the game isn't for me.
Mostly I like this game but there's a few bugs that need to be fixed. I see the ball go through the paddles quite often, not just when playing, like you can't serve. There are other "glitches" where the robots win when they shouldn't. Still fun, but it'd be nice to see these glitches fixed.
Does not support anything other than Vive controllers. The prompt to adjust the table at the beginning of a match was not able to be done with the Index controllers, leading to a very uncomfortable posture during the match. You also can't adjust the paddle angle so that the handle lines up with the angle of the controller's grip making the paddle feel very cumbersome.
The game no longer works. It doesn't detect controllers, so there is no way to interact with it. It appears all support has stopped. Avoid purchase.
I've played ping pong for years IRL but recently found myself where I couldn't anymore. So I decided to try ping pong in VR.... this game blew my mind with how real it feels. The physics are great. 10/10 would suggest.
非常非常好玩!!!!
The game is really fun and does great work simulating the real physics reaction.
My husband (who played in professional team before) played this and said that maybe this would be the future of table tennis game lol
Meanwhile for amateurs like me, still fine workout and a fun game.
would really love it if the online match mode can be more approachable to us mainland Chinese people...cause we LOVE table tennis!
This is a good game for those who want a fun experience. If you're looking for a more challenging experience there's always simulation mode so it can fit the beginner table tennis and for that I'd say it's worth it. To get people into playing and loving the sport. When you actually feel you're getting good in simulation mode maybe you can try Eleven Table Tennis VR, it's a step up simulation wise and the online is better as well.
It's a great game, I enjoyed it a lot. Don't expect to be able to play PvP, the few miliseond delay make it imposible to play PvP. I tried pvp, sometime you can see the opponent shot and the ball jumps over your side without taking it's course. I assume that is to compensate for the network delay.
But play with bots, it's very fun.
This is the second best VR table tennis game money can buy. The first is obviously Eleven Table Tennis.
The physics in this game have gotten better over time and they're not far behind Eleven, but I find you need to hit the ball way harder than you would in real life to get it over the net. This isn't just about returning a ball that has a lot of spin on it, it also applies to serving. I could see it feeling somewhat accurate if you're hitting the ball with a piece of wood with no rubber on it, but any proper paddle should require much less force to hit with the desired amount of power.
Other than that, it's a very fun game, if not frustratingly difficult at times. It feels very natural to get into a smash volley and it's even more satisfying when you win it. Even if you have Eleven, this is worth buying because it is a little different, and opponents have more personality than they do in Eleven, even if they're just robots.
I have loved playing Racket Fury with my Oculus CV1. But now the headset is broken and I am owner of a new one (HP Reverb G2). Racket Fury is not playavle with the WMR controllers of this headset. What a bummer. It shows the htc controller and throwing the table tennis ball for service is not possible because the ball has a strange trajectory.
What a JOY to play using the Oculus Rift! I love the AI robots, they are amusing, and play really well. The graphics and physics are really outstanding. I am VERY happy and pleased that I purchased this game! Now I dont have to go outside in the cold, or extreme heat in the south, nor deal with bug bites, to use my outdoor real table. I might just sell the outdoor one. I would rather use this. I'd rather play AI instead of humans, its a bit too hard to find players who like to play daily. The weather here is not conducive to be playing much outside. I think I will sell my outdoor table! I get just as much exercise and fun playing this. I am one happy customer and so glad I bought this! I give a huge thumbs up!!!
If you pick the simulation, i played ping pong alot before covid...
Its crazy insane how accurate it is, spins, smash, angle...
Spins could be a little more spinny sometimes but its cool.
If you keep missing you can go arcade mode which helps you alot on controlling the ball.
But they are cons...
community is dying so gl getting on an online match on 90% of servers.
They are no practice activities, just you vs an invincible bot who stops every shot you can think on (exept smashes on the let).
You need a special controller a weird one to access every things in the game
Bots shoot through the table
When you set the settings how you want, resets everytime you relaunch the game
resets your level every time
NEED ALOT OF SPACE to play greatly
sometimes LAGS ALOTTTTTTTTT
graphics are meh...
meh game overall would maybe
I gotta say, this game has gotten me addicted for the couple hours I've played on it so far. This game is by far one of the most realistic ping pong games I have come across. Yes, there are a few bugs and there, such as interacting with balls and paddles during games, but I hope the devs will fix them in future updates. As for the multiplayer, it has such a great and easy interface for joining and creating matches with other people to play with! The only downside to this game is that the game isn't always reliable when saving progress. Periodically, when I relaunch the game, my progress doesn't show up, and I would have to gain it back from previous gameplay. Overall, I give this game a 9/10!
Legitimately one of my favorite games right now. The AI is hard as hecc, especially after the second championship. But beating each robot is extremely satisfying.
Penhold/advanced racket twists function removed.
Poor support on valve index.
Would likely change this comment if problems above solved.
Couldn't get past the main menu. It's horribly bugged. The Select Arena overlay is on top of anything I select so I can't see any other menu. Bottom rung awful.
If you're in the market go to Eleven Table Tennis. It's the one you're looking for.
Edit: Do. Not. Buy. The devs clearly don't give a rat's ass about this game. I couldn't get it to work with the Oculus Rift (see above), but I tried it again with the Valve Index hoping that it would work with Lighthouse-based hardware. Nope. Even worse. It doesn't recognize either my Index controllers or my Vive trackers. A total loss. I am completely unable to play the game at all in any way.
I did post a Discussion over the above issue. I got at least one person that had the same issue to comment, but the devs were silent. Completely broken game, entirely worthless devs.
Game is AWESOME!! Love everything of it, I'm a ping pong player in real life and I must say this is the one that gets closer to the real thing! Physics is basically there, a few tweaks still needed but the game is solid! Graphics is as well great, I love the Rocket League feel they put in it, I'm sure in the future they will add other arenas, but even if they don't it's ok, it's a ping pong game after all, not a racing game.
There is only one problem, it seems I cannot find an online opponent like....ever!! This is something that worries me a bit, as I bought it to play against other people rather then VS the AI.
Oh, by the way, the AI is great as well, it feels you are playing against a real person.
Things in my opinion that need to be adjusted or added:
- The AI still doesn't play with spin, that's the only thing that makes me feel I'm not playing vs a real person
- Training. If it could be possible to add a training robot just for specific shots or routines. Backspin - Topspin. Forehand. Backhand etc
- Invest some money to let the people know about this game: IT'S THE BEST ONE!!!
ok i just want to be clear for everyone wondering... this game is 100% playable with the RIFT + TOUCH. granted you see the vive controller on your left hand but so what thats gonna get updated in a few weeks. all the buttons work, everything is repositionable (height, angle, direction of the table and the degree of tilt you want on your paddle) i highly recommend this game.i play table tennis everyday at work during lunch and i also own Eleven: table tennis and even tough i would recommend that game aswell i think Racket Fury feels more realistic. SUPPORT THE PRODUCT!!!! INCREASE THE POPULUS!!! this game is crack
To the point - if you're new to table tennis entirely, and possibly even if not, even in its current state I find this game worth the asking price and better than the other VR table tennis options, including Eleven.
Background: I'm a Rift + Touch user who has literally never played a game of table IRL, and even in a game before this week.
I found the other table tennis VR games to be mechanical, unforgiving on the AI, and just not welcoming to somebody not already pretty decent at playing.
This game, however, has more way more personality, is way more inviting, and the AI while still challenging feels simultaneously more 'human' and therefore more forgiving.
The unlockables and achievements give me clear motivation to get better and keep playing, even if I lose against amateur AI, while other games left me frustrated and uninterested.
I refund more VR games than I keep, but this game has already earned a permanent install spot on my hard drive. Great jobs, devs.
For the devs (and these are nitpicky, I admit) - maybe I'd like to see losses maybe give slightly more coins than they do now (like 2 coins, which is almost nothing) - I think that'd be slightly more forgiving to people new to the sport and help with gameplay motivation.
Secondly the in-game controllers show the Vive wands - I really hope the dev will one day consider the native Oculus SDK so in-game controllers / buttons show the Touch controllers, and Oculus Home users would get the bonus if the game automatically showing up in home vs launching in Steam VR (which at the time of writing is a recently added Oculus Home feature)
AMAZING!!!!!well done guys!!!
AMAZING graphics,place looks awesome,the robots,everything looks FANTASTIC!!!
Plus the gameplay is VERY GOOD!!!AI plays good technique and except of those crazy chop shots which r not realistic and would NEVER go on the table, the AIs play VERY GOOD and realistic shots!!!!
i would love there 2 b a recording possibility where u can save games and watch later on,with pause/stop/slow motion buttons etc
bought the game 2day and went through all championship groups pretty fast til i reached the last 1,there things became difficult even for me (i m a pro athlete and coach, playing in the 1st division in greece) the 3rd of the last group made my life difficult, took me all day 2 beat him lol
and the last 1 is really the best,a lot of fun playing against him, like REAL practice, lots of sweat lol!!!but it would b nice if there is some god mode where the AI hits every ball hard or at least every 2nd or 3rd..the last and best AI hits very good and fast but just a few times, maybe 1 in 5,then changes spin, placement, height of ball - all very very good but it would b cool if there is 1 who plays even more fast balls... in fact i was attacking MUCH more than him,and once in a while he would do his best shot - which is very good - but it would b nice if there is an AI which attacks more than me or same, both attacking almost every ball coz thats what happens in high level competition, both players attack not just 1...maybe u should check the last olympic games final or world championship final 2 know what i mean...top players play more balls very fast than not,and i think at least ur best AI should do same or even better than any human :-)
a robot ,ball machine would also b nice where u can program certain combinations...
i m telling u all this coz i m studying VR dev right now and i will do it in a few months,so u better b prepared lol
great work guys,really,VERY GOOD!!!CONGRATS!!!RESPECT!!! :-)
if u need/want any tips what u could do better, let me know....the spin could also b more, its pretty good but pro rackets have more spin...
again, well done!!!! :-) its by far the best table tennis game out there, and i tried them all,EVERY SINGLE 1 since i wanted 2 know what my competition is up2 :-) the only game coming close 2 this 1 is eleven table tennis VR,but their AI is just horrible lol
if some1 cant decide which table tennis vr game 2 buy,THIS is the 1!!if u want more than buy also table tennis elevn vr,but if its just 1,then this is the top,the BEST!!! :-)
