About the Game
STARDROP is a single-player first-person interactive narrative adventure game where you take on the role of a Salvage & Rescue Operative named Aryn Vance. With her partner, John Kindley, at her side, the two embark on a journey full of mystery and suspense with some laughs along the way. STARDROP tells a genuine heart-felt story about a long lost starship, its crew and one individual in particular.
STARDROP presents its narrative through traditional cut scenes and in-game cinematic story telling as you play. The main campaign is where the heart of the game's narrative lies but you will also be able to experience the universe of STARDROP through its side missions.
Exploration lies at the game's core but so does accessibility. While the game offers puzzles and asks the player to figure out what to do or where to go next, the flow of information within the game will always guide you. Objectives are always made clear and designed with logic in mind. However, those who venture off the beaten path will find that there are more than enough secrets to be discovered.
Throughout the game the player will be able to interact with various types of interfaces such as control panels, elevators and security systems as well as other various interactive objects such as computer interfaces where you can read emails, listen to audio logs and more.
Your All-Purpose-Design (APD) space suit is equipped with a set of tools that you will need in order to succeed. The suit comes with a built-in flashlight. The object scanner enables you to identify objects of interest that you can interact with and it's also capable of zero gravity mobility under certain circumstances.
The DataPad is an essential tool. It enables you to view your current objective, read audio and text logs that you've collected and it also comes with a built-in mini-map.
Our main focus will always be on the game's story but we strife to deliver breathtaking visuals where possible. Our efforts have lead us to win Best 3D Graphics in the Intel Level Up Contest of 2017. We will continue to uphold these standards if not lifting them up even higher.

TL;DR Version:
If you like atmospheric walking simulators, sci-fi mysteries, haunting music, and gorgeous space scenes, this is the game for you.
PROS
- One of the most beautiful soundtracks I've ever had the pleasure to collect.
- Female protagonist with a wonderfully-voiced actress (English version).
- Engaging plot.
- The main characters are named John & Aryn and my little Farscape-loving heart is over the moon.
CONS
- Controls can be a bit dodgy.
- More lens-flare than a 2010s JJ Abrams movie.
- Doesn't handle resolutions that aren't 16:9 properly.
- They're not John Crichton & Aeryn Sun. Curse you, IP laws!
A game so nice I played it twice! Okay, so I played it through the first time a few years ago, but I missed some of the datapads and therefore didn't get 100% on the achievements. However, I decided to leave it alone for a while and come back to it fresh again and I'm SO glad I did, because I'd forgotten how good a game it was!
And the soundtrack? OOF. As someone who collects video game soundtracks, this one has had a place of honor on my playlist for YEARS because it's seriously that incredible. Buy the game, play it, and love it, but also do yourself a favor and buy the soundtrack, too, because that will ALSO get a lot of repeat plays.
Couldn't get past the dialog. this is not how people talk. very cringe.
Quite an enjoyable game
I am in Chapter 4 now and really enjoyed the game so far! The androids can be a bit creepy though, but they are quite harmless. The "puzzles" are easy enough that you should not get stuck. Also the story is captivating.
The only thing that bugs me a bit is when you take remote control of an android and try to log out again. When you customized the keys (as I did) you have to press "Q" instead of your customized input. Would be good to patch this.
Apart from this small issue, I like this game a lot! I hope that there will be either a sequel or some kind of DLC with more missions.
Don't see any reason to go through all the chore of opening doors and tedious walking.
Story is not appealing and promising enough to make you want to keep playing.
Graphics are ugly.
Half of the screen and eye of sight is covered by a spacesuit helmet.
The game crashes every time I open it
Very boring, slow moving, and a terrible menu output when using a controller. If a controller is able to be used for a game, then make ALL aspects functioning, swapping from controller to mouse for the menu and certain other smaller things is annoying and seems like they gave up half way through coding. Very little story, unlikable characters and honestly just a waste of internal storage. Cheap Starfield knock off :(
Stardrop is a very good science fiction investigation game. You work in the salvage of abandoned spaceships. While investigating a ship, you stumble upon a forgotten conspiracy involving forbidden research and abandoned history. The graphics are very colorful for a sci fi game and the voice acting is strong. It has a good unfolding plot and was really enjoyable to play.
This game is boring as fuck. Initially needed an environment variable on your PC to apply a fix - that would instant crash the game - and even then the developer dragged out the pacing to a painful degree. No bueno
Amazing little gem!
A casual mystery lock&key game.
The story sucked me in and kept me ingagded.
Not a complicated game, but a delightful experience.
I wish it was more known.
