About the Game
Fun cooperative game for 1-4 players.Each player controls a forklift truck in a warehouse.
As new goods keeps arriving, the players must work together organizing them,
so that they can make the outgoing deliveries as needed.
100 warehouse maps divided into three difficulties.
Each map have high replayability and a separate hiscore for each player count.
5 difficulty levels that controls the pace of the game, allowing you to
select something that suits you and your friends skill level and taste.
Higher difficulty increases the score for each delivery.
Your friends can join your game at any time. The game will dynamically
balance the difficulty in addition to the selected one.
How to play
Steer your truck with W, S, A, D, press Space to lift/drop and Q for horn
or with a Gamepad.
Change the controls or the reverse steering behaviour in the options.
The period bar shows the remaining time of this period.
Difficulty and player count affects the period length.
Each successfull delivery gives you score based on difficulty.
Orders indicate how many deliveries are left before the game ends.
Incoming goods arrive on conveyor belts.
If anything collides with it, a huge amount of orders will be lost.
Blue goods must be dropped in the matching delivery zone before the end of the current period.
Failure will result in a score reduction and two lost orders.
Goods with a number must be delivered during the period X periods from the current.
The number will decrease each new period.
Grey goods don't have a known delivery period, but may randomly get one each new period.
Each period, one grey goods becomes an optional bonus delivery for that period only.
It will be worth double score and may be dropped in any delivery zone.

I really enjoy this game. I've played through about half of the maps and feel like the developers nailed the basic game mechanics.
It's similar to Overcooked and other timed puzzle games like that, but without as many complex variations.
Pros:
- Graphics: Nicely done in a blocky style with pleasant colors.
- Multiplayer: Up to 4 players including local co-op now
- Levels: Tons of maps with different layouts
- Sounds: They're cute (my toddler loves honking the horns)
- Difficulty: 5 levels to adjust for different players' skill levels
- Settings: It's easy to adjust the music and SFX levels. This makes it easier to hear your friends on discord if you're playing online and allows you to add your own music if you want (see below).
- Simplicity: What you see is what you get - there are no confusing and outlandish changes on harder levels like in Overcooked (like giant pits to fall into).
Cons:
- Simplicity: What you see is what you get. Unlike Overcooked, there are no new challenges with the harder maps. If you want tons of variation, it's not there - just different warehouse layouts and difficulty levels.
- Polish: There are a few rough edges. Nothing game breaking, but I always have to force quit the game when I'm done playing as one example.
- Music: There's exactly one music track. It gets old if you play the game a lot. (I've heard some people mute the music and play music from another device to solve this.)
- Gameplay/Difficulty: I like playing with my (young) kids, but doing poorly in this game means the levels end faster. I'd rather be able to play a map for 15 minutes with my kids and get a bad score at the end but have fun than cause each level to end in a couple minutes even on the lowest difficulty level.
I haven't played the original Storage Inc, but I'd definitely recommend this one. If the trailer video looks interesting, you'll probably enjoy it.
Loved that game so much when it was released on xbox 360 indies because the gameplay was not the same!
The little difference that makes this version non enjoyable is the scoring...
In the old version it was a battle to win over the map's design, deliver all boxes with 3 errors max, and pass onto the next level, with 100 levels!
Here you finish when you lose and you have a score, bad design, it killed the fun sadly.
I had so much good time on the old version but here 60 minutes and i could'nt do more...
Awesome couch co-op game. Same style as Overcooked: Strategy/Puzzle game that pits you against the clock.
I used to play the first one on Xbox 360 and I loved it. This one is just as good as the first game but it is a bit buggy at times. Graphics are nice. Using a controller, the controls are fairly smooth but using a keyboard is much harder. Overall, I would recommend this game. I've only played single player so I cant speak for multiplayer at all.

While there doesnt seem to be a reason to move boxes about with your forklift, it certainly can be intertaining trying to scramble around, bouncing off walls, posts, and other cargo boxes just to get from A to B. Tackle this tiny timed warehouse as quick as you can! Though, it very much feels like you are moving things around just because, rather than for an actual goal. I would like to see this expand, have different modes, team vs team, race to meet a quota, make you feel like you are accomplishing something, otherwise, bounce away! or just drive into things, whichever suits your fancy!
HOW TO PLAY CO OP AND GET CONTROLLERS WORKING!
Connect your controllers, go into Local Play and player 2 needs to press Start. This is not very well explained.
I had issues connecting my 2x PS4 controllers. I got it working by using DS4Windows (google it) and importantly going into settings and ticking 'Hide DS4 Controllers'. I then went into the game and did the above (local play, press start) and it worked!
After finally getting to play I am glad I did not give up. This is really, really fun and me and my fiancee are hooked.
Well worth the money, just persevere if you are wanting to play co-op.
I played the original version on Xbox and this version is not as good.
First there is no native support for my controller which is a basic Logitech Dual Action. Thankfully to Steam you can now use any controller quite easily.
The forklift seems to "stick" or get stuck on walls and crates. They look like wobbling when this happen.
It's not game breaking but when you reach higher levels and need to be efficient, it gets frustrating.
Only one or two music tracks that repeat endlessly.
The graphics are not as good as the Xbox version (voxel for this one).
When I close the game, every time I need to kill the program as it doesn't close properly.
The game is still a lot of fun but a few updates would make it great again.
Definitely a better game with friends.
This is a follow up to a game I really like, previously only available in XBLA - so it's nice to get a PC port for it. Because of its XBOX history, the local co-op needs XBox controllers to work. You can use non-xbox controllers with the help of a utility called x360ce and that works fine with a bit of fiddling. Press the START button on secondary controllers to introduce that player to the game, once it has begun.
Game Crashes when just playing the game for less than a minute, untill i found a comment in the discussions about turning the sound off in the game, then it works, completed a level just fine.
Unable to connect more than one player both controllers are connected.
whichever controller is connected first takes player one.
They need to fix this i brought the game to play with my friends not alone
Very nice little game. It's a great mix between speed and planning tu succed. It's good to play solo, great as internet coop and even better as 4 player local coop in the same physical room :)
this game is a lot worse than the last
the boxes are laggy af, the last game had really smooth physics
the score system makes no sense
i lose if i break a crate and it never tells me that anywhere
pls just re-release the last game on steam and give it to me for free and i will be hapii : ))))))))))))))))))))))))))
Just as addictive as the first game, yet a step back in pretty much every other way. Controls feel much more clunky than the first game with collisions and just moving around in general feeling off. Graphics are much uglier with a weird minecraft esque art style. Menu's are hard to navigate. Etc.
Here comes an honest review from someone who really digs this series.
This game is a step down from its predecessor in nearly every single way.
The bad:
Stacking boxes is much harder than it was in the original, thanks to the voxels, which make certain box ordering combinations from the first game impossible to pull off in this new one. Forklifts feel quite a bit different from the first game. They seem to get stuck on things more often, and seem to struggle picking up boxes at certain angles that were possible (and encouraged) in the first game. I haven't dug too far into the maps, but i'm fairly certain that a lot of these are just copies from the first game. The lack of new content in that department is quite dissappointing. Menus are not controller friendly at all (I have a wired xbox 360 controller for those interested). You cannot choose any on-screen options with the controller and must instead use a mouse. You can 'pause' the game with a controller, but that's as far as you can interact with the menu system if you're using a controller.
Speaking of the menu system, Storage Inc. 2 has one of the worst ones I have ever used. Menus are annoying (why can i choose a map from a button on the main game screen and not by pressing 'esc' at any given point?) or straight up confusing (1] getting into the 'choose a map' screen reveals a bunch of maps that you can choose from and add strange icons to with mouse clicks? 2] when I 'finish a map' i don't feel like I actually did. The only time the game lets you think that you beat a level is when your deliveries have been done flawlessly and you have been greeted by a string of text that says 'perfect' at the top of a menu that pops up. If you don't have a flawless game (not missing one delivery, adding every + box that pops up, never letting a delivered box blow up thanks to a new one being delivered behind it) the game presents you with a 'try again' screen for committing just one infraction. This is weirdly discouraging).
The good:
The voxels look pretty nice, especially when you deliver a package and it explodes into little bits. Multiplayer is as fun as ever, and I love how anyone can play this at any skill level. The game's action is just as hectic as ever, and it is still very satisfying to create an ordered warehouse and pull off shipments quickly. I like the added + box to keep things extra tense and interesting while you sort boxes.
The verdict:
This is a step back for the series in many ways, but it's still one of the best games in the genre. For 10.99$(CAD) this isn't worth it, especially when the 360 version of the first game retails for 2.99$(CAD) and is better in every way that counts. If the price were less, or if the game were at least as good as its predecessor i'd recommend it, but until either one of these things happen I cannot recommend it.
Highly recommend this game if you have 2-3 friends to play with, and be sure to play it on master for maximum challenge.
If you have ever enjoyed the challenge of efficiently packing a moving truck to fit as many boxes as nature would allow, this could be the game for you.
It has some bugs, but ultimately it is a fun game to play with a buddy. I wish there was some different play modes like "endless" mode, sometimes the levels end really quickly while you were in the middle of catching up with the timer! There are A TON of levels to play, and every level presents new challenges.
This game could really use some local co-op.
I bought this game and was totally disappointed that there is no local coop.
I played Storage Inc 1 on Xbox with friends on my tv and wanted to do the same with this one on the steam link.
The whole point of this game for me is to play it on the couch with controllers and some friends.
I returned the game. If there is local coop for up to 4 players in the future I will give it another try.
Update:
The game now has local coop. But you can't navigate through the menu with the controller, therefore it is not really playable on SteamLink. The game lags on my computer, the fork lift doesn't drive smooth, a big disadvantage if it gets hectic. If you wanna get to the next Map you can't just press "next map", you need to navigate to Maps and there select the next one.
If you have the chance to get Storage Inc 1 (for example on xbox360) get that one instead, it is much better and the second one is disappointing if you played the first one.
This game is the bomb. Great multiplayer fun and great music, but you've really got to coordinate and strategize if you want to beat the harder levels. It gets intense fast.
If you've played the first Storage Inc on Xbox, this plays basically the same with different graphics, and the conveyor belt system is a nice improvement over the Xbox version.
A few things that could hopefully be tweaked or added in a future patch:
* Better and/or more clear win/lose screens (even something simple like "You Win" or "You Lose" would be better than "Game Over"). This doesn't really affect gameplay at all, but would be nice.
* Some form of couch coop; I could easily see this being played with multiple people on a TV via Steam Link with multiple controllers or something. It's a super fun party game (well, Storage Inc 1 was) so local multiplayer would be a welcome addition.
There's really nothing negative to say about this game, just a few areas that could be improved and tweaked... Worked out of the box with an Xbox One controller.
Awesome game overall. I would highly recommend it! You can easily lose a few hours playing this game and not even realize it, that's how good it is. I'm not even joking.

I did spend a lot of time on Storage Inc 1, trying to complete all maps without failure together with my friends. It was just too damn fun!
I get pretty much the same experience in Storage Inc 2. This game is intense and action packed. It is very fun yet extremely challenging (at least master diffculty is)! This game will bring you laughter, tears of joy, immense stress levels and keyboard/controller breaking frustration. Best of all is that you can experience all of this together with your friends. It is great!

Local-coop has been implemented and map completion is now more satisfactory! Well done Stolskott! I still have one issue with the game (which isn't game-breaking, but a mere annoyance at times), namely:
[*]Online multiplayer is a little bit laggy. It is definitely playable, but considering that you need to be both quick and precise, lag spikes may cause you to fail.
Despite a little lag when playing online, this is overall a great coop game. I highly recommend it! Well done Stolpskott Studios!
