In line with other games of the same developer, Trip to Vinelands is a super fast paced game, where the objective is to survive as long as possible.
Gameplay consists of moving the character to the edge of each level, and avoiding touching the moving walls and obstacles. Score and survival is tracked by the number of levels beaten.
Surviving for long can be quite a challenge, requiring fast reflexes and memorizing how level patterns work, especially for those that want to 100% the game.
Decent minimalistic retro artwork and selection of music.
A little expensive at full price, but still a nice game to kill some time, and/or if looking for a challenging survival maze game. 7/10
The trick is that you don't immediately hold down right arrow when next level starts. You take a split second before you move.

Checkpoints please. Nothing more to expect for a bundle this dirt cheap.
I bought this with a collection, and I recommend just buying TTV3 or TTV4 instead. This game is just less interesting than the other ones in the series, so unless you intend to beat all of the vineland games then just buy 3 or 4.
Hardcore arcade playing which you need to have good attention and nerves of steel if there is no first your ass will burn with hellfire and if there is no second, you will fly to the moon on a rocket propulsion from the anus.

"Just dodge" the game
Though I do wish it got progressively harder with each level, it's still a very fun experience overall. The soundtrack as well is great, very fitting with the precise movement you're doing while being focused at the walls and obstacles that cave in
Incredibly good action arcade game, with really simple but hard to master mechanics. The music and the art style are really trashy and industrial. One of those games where you easily enter The Zone.

dont bother, even for the price of entry
Easy to learn, hard to master, A unique experience certainly worth your time and money. Just get to the edge of the screen by any means, in an ever-changing world of moving walls. Premise is simple, leave the screen while avoiding the vines, beat 100 random screens to win. Has some killer music, simple and nice art-style, and easy to understand hard to master game-play. And it has cards!
This was my last game to complete for TTV series and I finally did it. There are a LOT of tight squeezes to make little to no mistakes, so good luck to anyone attempting this

Unfortunately this is just a bad game. Generally I am a huge fan of Walter's very difficult games but genuinely this is his worst and most frustrating title has ever made. Do not recommendg playing, ever.
Nobody will read my review so I will eat 1 Tablespoon of Spicy Ketchup for every like this gets.
