Это странное «обещание» служит началом необычной связи между двумя героями.
Что же это за место? Зачем их заперли здесь? Какая судьба их ожидает?
Начинается рискованное приключение в попытке выбраться из здания, ставшего для них ловушкой...
«Ангелы смерти» — это приключение в жанре психологического хоррора, состоящее из 4 эпизодов. В игре присутствует грубая лексика.

Рэй просыпается в комнате с бетонными стенами, не помня ничего о том, что с ней произошло.
Выйдя из комнаты, она бродит по зданию и встречает вооруженного большой косой человека — Зака.
Почувствовав опасность, она отталкивает его и заскакивает в лифт...
Кое-как преодолев угрозу, Рэй и Зак выходят на этаже B3, где видят перед собой выполненное в современном стиле пространство с ослепительно белыми стенами.
— — Из громкоговорителя на потолке раздается жуткий женский хохот.
«Вы, грешные злодеи. Чтобы заслужить прощение, вы должны его выстрадать».
Пребывающая в восторженном исступлении тюремщица собирается испытать на прочность клятву Рэй и Зака с помощью богатого арсенала садистских «наказаний».
Смогут ли герои сдержать свое «обещание», оказавшись в отчаянном положении?..
Волоча за собой обездвиженного Зака, Рэйчел высаживается на этаже B2 и оказывается в огромном соборе.
Где-то рядом раздаются звуки органа, в коридорах витает странный сладковатый аромат, а на стенах проступают слова, требующие от нее «покаяния».
Но Рэй все равно отправляется в путь, уже в одиночку. Чтобы сдержать данное Заку «обещание»...
В глубине собора Рэй встречает священника.
Однако исходящий от него сладкий запах очаровывает ее...
«Это было красиво, но в то же время... безумно отвратительно».
Рэй и Зак добираются до этажа B1. Перед их глазами предстает совершенно обыкновенный дом.
Однако, войдя в гостиную, они видят, что вся комната забрызгана кровью. Внезапно Рэй теряет самообладание:
«Зак, прошу тебя, убей меня прямо сейчас! Пока ты ничего не узнал!»
На глазах у ошеломленного Зака Рэй теряет сознание, и тут раздается стук — кто-то стучит в дверь гостиной...
После этого Зак бродит по дому, напичканному коварными ловушками.
Чтобы узнать, кто же такая Рэй. Но что за истина ждет его в конце?..
Смогут ли герои сдержать свое «обещание» и выбраться живыми из этого здания?

The game is amazing! The controls are nice, I love how you get to play Ray's backstory, and the puzzles were only hard enough to be fun. Applause applause and more applause. Please get this game!!

I first watched the anime and realized they made a game about it. Its a really good game, not really scary but really fun plot overall. It ends abruptly but that's also somewhat of a good thing. Love each character and its psychological depth. I would recommend if you like this type of game play and just want to have a fun little adventure. A lot of puzzles and kinda hard not to die though.
It's a really entertaining game to me. It has a lot of cutscenes, but the story and chase sequences really make up for it. I personally enjoy it, some others might not though.

I thought the concept of this game was odd at first. A girl making an oath with a serial killer to escape, but then to kill her after they leave? I saw this game was super popular in Japan though so I was like, what the heck I want to see what this is all about then. Now, after finishing the game I can completely understand why people love this game. They somehow make this tale so touching. You find yourself rooting for these two on their journey. You're somehow very happy with the ending that you know is coming. It's such a strange tale, but they've done it so well. With some RPG maker games I've had to google some help to get past the game, but this one slid by easily. 10/10 game for me. If you're looking into this game, I say for sure give it a shot. It leaves you baffled by the end of how such a story like this could be so good at the same time.
I love this game with my entire heart and soul. A few years ago back in 2017 i had watched a gameplay of someone playing this game! but i never had a device to play it on, then a year later i watched the anime! it was much like the game!! a show that is worth watching. But now since i'm able to play it, i didn't remember much of the story since i watched the gameplay and the anime years ago. but it was so enjoyable playing through and remembering bits and pieces of the story as i progressed through the game. I, personally believe that this is the best pixel horror. the story is so good!!! and Issac is so fine. 11/10. (+1 cus Zack.)

What do I think about Angels of Death?
I first got to know about this game when a friend of mine played it on the Switch. We watched the anime together aswell (10/10 for me, I can only recommend watching it) and I also bought the manga, which was another reason to get into playing that game.
It follows the storyline really well and it's pretty exciting, but for someone that wanted to start playing something again while having troubles with comitting to a game, even though it doesn't take that long, I had quite the trouble with getting chased. I didn't get the controls right at first, because it was one of the first games I played on the Laptop and lost patience with myself pretty quickly. To note: I lost the patience with myself, not with the game! ^^"
I think it is enjoyable and if you want to dig deeper into the lore of Angels of Death or you are just a fan of it, then I can really recommend it. And I think I will try it again when i got more comfortable with the controls and get myself to commit to playing the game.
Some things about the ingame thingys:
- Nice storyline
- Ambience is neat
- This game knows how to trigger fears of getting chased
- It is a nice game with some neat lore
- Its a 2D Game with a pixelated look
All in all I can really recommend that game if you like the anime or manga of Angels of Death and want to get even more into the rabbithole.

I saw this game reviewed by one blogger quite a while ago. I really liked the gameplay, but I never got around to buying this game. A few years later I decided to buy it and I didn't regret it!
The game is interesting for its simple plot and mechanics. It was interesting to watch the story unfold and guess what would happen next. I'm glad that the game was translated into my language too, because I don't know English very well :)
The game is purely for one time, but it will brighten up your boring evening!

I have only played for 5 hours and 20 minutes yet i cant get enough of it! I first watched the 16 episode anime and started collecting the manga (I've got 6 volumes). I was scrolling through youtube until i found a video of a person playing this game! I never knew it was a game and immediately checked it out. i bought it straight away and started playing! Its literally just like the anime and manga but a bit more added and removed from it but that still doesn't make it any worse as it is fun and entertaining to play. The puzzles and and chases are amazing (even if i died like 6 times) it is still so fun! i recommend playing this, its funny and I've learnt more about the story and characters. Zack swears a lot more in this game but he is hilarious! :D
Want something to traumatize you? buy this game its worth it
if you're a fan of the 2D story-based pixel RPG with hints of depression™ genre then i would definitely recommend picking up this one as well.
Though, from my experience, while the first and second episode was nice and easy to digest, things in episode 3 was a lot more complicated to understand; the characters's thought process and the whys and hows. but i'll just chalk it up to my brain still being a wee bit inexperienced with literature. episode 4 does take some of episode 3's complicated-ness but it's definitely a lot more digestable and is most definitely the most thrilling one. That being said all of the Antagonists are very well-written with their own charming personalities. Same with goes with the protagonists of course
the pixel art and drawings, when compared to most other rpghorror titles, are definitely a bit on the weaker side, although that is obviously a subjective opinion. It does give the game it's own charm and uniqueness in a way, though. Now that i think about it it's probably because this game never got "remastered" like Ib and mad father so the graphics are naturally a bit outdated.

slight nitpick but they couldn't have picked a more ear-grating item pick-up sound for this game...
i know i sounded a bit negative there but i'm mentioning them because at the end of the day, you don't buy games like these for their "sick graphics" and "clever puzzles" now do ya? they're usually just bonus positives. the most important aspect of the game is the story and narrative.
And i can definitely say for sure that overall, it's great, well-written, one-of-a-kind story about an already dead inside suicidal girl's relationship with a kinda-not-really silly serial killer (his not silly) on a journey of trust, purity and acceptance. Even if the title and premise may sound a tad bit edgy, do give it a spin for yourself.
it falls just a teensy bit compared to games like Ib and Mad father, but it's still good.it's on par with Hello Charlotte

I played this when I was younger so I was glad to have bought it again. Very ambiguous ending (which I like, but I don't speak for everyone else.) and was really fun to play all over again.

I watched this anime many years ago, but now I suddenly remember this game. When playing, I recall scenes from anime and have a magical feeling of retrieving memories.

I never expected to be so moved by this game. I read the manga a few years ago and loved it, but I think playing the game itself is better.T he story was interesting and even hauntingly beautiful. The music and the art were well done, to the point that I was drawn in and captivated even more to the story than when I first read the manga. The puzzles were also fun to figure out and still challenging despite having read the story prior.
Overall, Angels of Death is a great experience and I'm glad I got to play through it myself.
Also, It taught me that if you cant solve something- just smash it to pieces. :)
It's interesting to look at media like this now. I really liked the narrative and characters. The laugh sound effect they use constantly hurts my ears and pisses me off though and it doesn't suit the character.

剧情：莫名其妙，而且啰嗦得要死。作者过多关注抒写其低幼的中二臆想，导致故事和人物形象毫无逻辑性可言。
A very enjoyable jRPG. I'm happy it's divided into chapters instead of just one long thing, more games should do that I think.
I like how the ending is open to interpretation, (which the anime doesn't seem to have?). Art work and gameplay was enjoyable (I'm glad there was multiple saves).
Simple good, good characters.
