Two notable criteria for what makes an asset flip instead of legitimate use of stock assets are whether those assets comprise the majority of the game, and whether the "developer" properly credited the people who created most of the assets in the game. This game fails both of those tests. The "developers" here didn't credit any of the artists and real, actual game developers who created the assets here, so this is plagiarism, as well as cash grab shovelware.
In this case, the Russian "developer" dumped some lazy chicken asset onto an Unreal Engine third person shooter template with a few other "borrowed" asset store assets and rushed it onto Steam through Steam Direct. It has no value or merit as a real game, at best this might be fun to laugh at as a "joke" game because it's funny if a chicken has a gun. But asset flips are no laughing matter. They pollute the marketplace, they make it harder for genuine amateur developers to find an audience, and they give indie devs a bad name.
Taking this shovelware seriously as if it was a genuine attempt to make a game, it doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard.
The developers didn't design the game for modern gaming PCs, as such the display resolution caps out at 1080p, a very low resolution that became mainstream back in 2006 and became obsolete when 4K entered the mainstream in 2014. The game simply won't look right on modern gaming displays due to this failure on the part of the developers.
Bewilderingly, the game doesn't include proper audio controls, so you can't turn off the annoying background music, you'll need to alt+tab out and stop the music using the Windows sound mixer. This is obviously not okay and it's unclear why the developers chose not to include this basic feature.
The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers, left handed gamers or gamers using AZERTY or other international keyboard layouts.
These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game.
The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 4 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 100,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected.
So, should you buy this game? Is this one of the best of the 100,000+ games on Steam?
EggK47 has the preposterous price of around $5 USD, it's not worth it given the defects and shortcomings with the product, especially considering the sheer number of completely free, much higher quality games on Steam. For comparison, the $5 asking price for this game could get you games like "X-Com 2", "Shadow Warrior" or "Euro Truck Simulator 2". Quality, genuinely made games like those are frequently on sale cheaper than this.
Note: Because this is more of a "joke" game, intended to draw attention from controversy or in the hopes of going viral because it's "so bad it's good" (but it isn't good at all), there's nothing here to offer to serious gamers. As usual, with most awful/joke games, all the comedians come out of the woodwork. The vast majority of the reviews for this game are joke reviews, such as "this game cured my cancer, saved my marriage, changed my life" etc. Because most of the reviews are as insincere as the game itself is, and if you removed the fake/joke reviews the game would have a markedly different review score, the positive review score for this game should be disregarded.
It's bare (chicken) bones and (bird) poop on top of them. It's so buggy that I can barely even call it playable. Yet... I somehow found it fun. If it feels weird to read those words in the context of this game, don't worry, I feel even weirder typing them right now. But it's nothing but truth.
This is barely functional, barely playable, barely a game. It's one of those games that makes you question how little QC steam does. The answer is zero. Maybe less than that.

It has chickens. It has eggs. All it would require to get a passing review from me is something resembling a competently designed game. Unfortunately, this isn't quite there.
[1] Hitboxes and boundaries are broken. It's possible to leave the map, enemies can shoot through walls, and it's common to get stuck on objects.
[2] Animations and sound effects are very poor. Definite overuse of the explosions.
[3] No control rebinds or other important settings and the defaults aren't great.
[4] Collecting eggs isn't enough to hold anyone's interest and the maps aren't well-designed for that task.
It feels like someone took a zombie game and swapped in some farmer and chicken assets.
the game is buggy and the amount of times u get stuck in places the farmer can shoot thru walls and the game is incredibly difficult. with no difficulty change option u are stuck on hard mode there is no save game button or continue game option so if you accidentally press esk you have to start all over again you can not see how many eggs you need to collect so ones you have got them all you sit there and think if you have got all of them yet and to risk it all to go for the door to see but once u are done thinking u have allready gotten shot from the outher side of the map thru 10 diffrent houses and once u finely get to level 2 the zombies can 1 shot you and randemly telleport infront of you so you cant run leading you to die. there is much more to talk about how bad this game is but i cant be botherd to waist any more time on this game waist of £0.75
ive had this for a while and cant refund this. its good i guess, from the minute or so of gameplay and not just letting the game run

An absolutely amazing experience back to front. This masterpiece perfectly demonstrates the unique balance of game play and story. For half my time I was left on the edge of tears gripping the arms of my chair at the shear Beauty the game had. The graphics perfectly complimented the story telling. And the movement mechanics would leave other games in the dust. 100000/10 will never play another game again.
This game is a pretty cool and simple one. You get a tutorial at the beginning which is very cool. It's a fast paced action game. I'd like the game to be longer, because you can complete it in half an hour. the game has a few bugs, like you can't reach some eggs, or enemies can shoot you through walls or roofs. Overally this is a pretty cool and funny game, but too short. Considering the cheap price, I would totally recommend it.
shooting is pointless, the gun never even killed farmers outside tutorial, extremely loud, 0 setting control for anything
its the only game that you can be a chicken shooting at farmers while collecting egss 10/10
I love chickens. it gives me motion sickness though so if you're prone to it beware, otherwise fun
Worth the money weird game. would compare it to a shorter version of goat simulator.

My motivation
On this faithful day, I so happened to find the one game that would motivate me. Everyday is just another long walk into the empty abyss only to find the one thing to drag my feet out of my ever growing grave that I make, only to find this holy blessing, Eggk47. This game has turned my life around, I am not longer on the run from the cops, it has revived my crops from the harsh winter and it has brought god himsel
You play as a chicken with a gun and you shoot farmers. If you hold any sort of high expectations for an idea like that, I must ask what is wrong with you.
A few things require some getting used to like not standing too close to farmers when they ragdoll because you can take damage from it, or getting the hang of flying around. You have to look up to gain height so the best method is to go as high as you can, look around real quick, and then launch yourself in that direction.
It made me laugh, curse, and take a break and in the end isn't that what games are all about?
For the price, I would actually enjoy this game if there was an options menu anywhere. The tutorial words are so bright that I can't read them and no full screen mode.
Will nominate this game for GOTY. This game is fulfilling and felt so right. I always admire the chickens on counter strike maps, but with EggK47, I can be the chicken that I admired before.
Collect 50 golden eggs and proceed, maps too small to fit this amount of eggs in becomes "walk over each part of the map",
Enemies continually instant respawn, so makes killing anything not worthwhile.
No rebind controls as (I could see) so invert only on keyboard and non-invert only on gamepad (seems a lot weird),
Animations; no death animations (screenshot showing blood splatter is misleading)
When you look up and down the whole chicken just moves.
AI kept getting stuck and shooting me through walls and floors,
Humour you would expect? None of it, your ammo is eggs and you are finding golden eggs that is the length of thought apparently needed to be funny.
Game is an unfinished, pushed together mess with such little thought, please do not let the game description and photos fool you.
