best VR horror game ive played
That was fun I guess. The scare factor wears off after having been eaten a few times. It would have been cool to have some variation in the attack animations. That said, I will be dreaming of raptors brushing through high grass tonight. Nice for the price!
The game was initially in a dark environment and was a bit uncomfortable. After playing for a long time, I didn't know how to defeat the dinosaurs until I found out that I was shaking them to drive them away before the dinosaurs came over.
Although the second scene has a gun, it is also a signal gun, or it is used for illumination. And don't use it when it's not necessary.
This gameplay is very unique and very different from the others. Don't forget to wear headphones.
This is horrifyingly terrible. I got it for 59 cents so I guess it was not too bad but the flashlight/gun (I have no idea what it is) is terrible and has terrible instructions on what to do.
Best game to introduce friends and family to VR for sociopaths

A strange game about making you feel like an extra on Jurassic Park!
You have to survive the night in Raptor Valley without getting eaten by the raptors.....or the T-Rex.
The game is very dark and you only have a flash light for the first ten minutes of the game and then you get a flare gun.
Pros:
Fun
Can make you jump
Torch lighting is pretty good
Very cheap right now
Shooting Raptors with flares
Night sky looks good
Jump scares
Cons:
People sensitive to motion sickness might get a nasty suprise when you run away from the T-Rex
360 Room scale but not front facing
Creature models could be a bit better
Torch spread is a bit narrow
Yes this game has it flaws but for £2.39 it could be a hell of a lot worse.

I am recommending this game, but there's one thing that I dislike you start out for a long time with a flashlight. I was hopeing that I would be shootin raptors and other dinosaurs but for about 20 minutes,your pointing a flashlight at a playdo looking raptor.

A very simplistic jump scare game that will entertain you for 10 minutes. The entire gameplay consists of standing in one spot and shining a flashlight at any raptors before they come out of the tall grass.

I LOVED THIS GAME!! By far my favorite VR game so far! The pictures do not do the game justice, it looks 10x better in VR. dont let the bad looking textures fool you, they look terrifying once you're in the game. Amazingly simple, fun and terrifying! Good work devs!
This is a great experience, it may make you shout, it will make you flail around like you're fighting a wasp, and you will likely get tangled in your cables if you don't manage them well lol
Dark, ominous, foreboding and sometimes terrifying, am looking forward to the next episode.
$10 is a fair price for this game.
Piece of advice, keep playing, no, that's not all there is, it gets quite intense.
Can be frustrating in places.
Unfortunately I also had a frame rate stutter, about once every 5 seconds or so it would skip a few frames and judder quite violently, this created that wonderful vomit inducing feeling, couldn't find a fix online, couple of others had it and one had fixed, the other had not, I'm pretty good with fixing issues, I could not find a fix, even overclocked my card to increase fps, same result, changed Vive supersampling, no change, however, I played it through anyway, because it was good enough to push through the stutter.
Great little game none the less, not for everyone though, good for being mean to your friends too lol

Just bought this & played it for a short time. I found it to be quite a bit of fun, for just standing in one spot and spinning in circles. :p Definitely recommend this!
The environment is great at getting you into the mood of being hunted - standing in a slight depression, with tall grass all around. Beautiful night sky overhead, not that you'll have much time to look at it... and the sounds of rustling in the grass kept me spinning around. Offsetting that is the humor of the dialogue as you go along. I'm looking forward to playing more, since I only made it about 4 hours through the night.
Very good for scaring mates and yourself in the cv1. Only small thing i would like it better "kill" animations when they come at you. Strangely thought even with the current animations they give you a good scare

It's quite a bit better than I expected. I put it off because I thought it would be like 60% goofy 40% scary but decided to pull the trigger for Halloween sale. It is actually very well done and I'd say the only weird looking stuff is the raptors running at you when you lose on the first part. The raptors jumping at you looks better and is quite startling. Oh and the T-Rex's roar looked weird like he just chewed up snes yoshi and is spitting oversized pixel food particles at you lol. But yeah most of it is spot on and alternating between shooting flares and searching with the flashlight is fun. This game is quite different from Island 359 so if you like d*ck*n' with dinos give it a shot!
EDIT: Just got to the last part... it can be cheap at times with too many raptors to handle at once (3 at once with only 2 shots and long reload anim). Would recommend fixing that to not be too frustrating!
£6 to scare me shitless - what a game! This has become my number one game to scare friends when they use Vive for the first time - even scarier than the zombie shooters.
I highly recommend using surround sound headphones / speakers if you have them. I dont scare easy in games and love all types from outlast to alien issolation BUT this games has made me poop myself a few times.
Hearing the raptors around you and not knowing how safe you are is very intense and when a raptor does attack you will know what i mean about the poop :)
I'd recommend the game. It's a decent price for the experience. They did an epic job on the sound which I love and also the attention to detail the put into the foliage movement makes it a lot more intense!
The game does start out slow just as an FYI but it will pick up as you progress within the first 5 minutes or so.

Genuinely tense experience! 8/10
This game has now become a staple when I introduce friends and family to VR...
You'll be putting your spacial hearing to the test trying to work out exactly where the raptor is coming from....and as it gets later in the night you'll be spinning circles trying to work out where the buggers are coming from.
This is the first VR game to really get to me and make me feel freaked out. And my wife screamed really loud while a raptor got her, so that alone was worth the money. Great job. The feeling of being hunted is insane.
I'm not normally one for horror games, but that scene from the 2nd Jurassic Park movie was basically imprinted into my childhood so I had to give it a shot. Quite glad I did. Even though it's definitely horror, you're in full control of your destiny, and I like that.
The game starts slowly and builds up tension quite expertly. There's a bit of narrative to latch onto (always goes a long way in making me feel involved in the world). The feeling of raptors stalking you is exactly as you'd imagine. Their movements, the sound, all really well done. The models and animations are a bit janky, but serve their purpose. The game changes things up a bit as it goes along, giving you a few more things to toy with and even a whole new threat (again, the build up to the encounters are great). The final section is hectic, and you need a bit lucky to survive that part (defending yourself becomes hard and you're screwed if multiple raptors decide to close in at the same time), but overall a great VR experience.
Can't wait to see the next chapters.

I have never been so terrified by ANY video game in my life and I really really don't scare easy. Let's just say that Five Nights at Freddy's aint got nothin on this insaaaanely immersive game.
Literally had to sit down while playing at first because this dang envirnment is so instantly convincing and scary I though I would have fallen had I been standing. When the dinos come at you it's really enthrawling in a good way. Very Very spooky damn this game is so simple but it seems to have a lot of replayability just due to how scary it is looking all around you with a flashlight trying for your dear life to catch a rapter through the tall grass. I have a lot of good Vive games but this earns a spot in the top 10 now undoubtedly.
