I am 32 years old.
My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old.
When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing.
Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side.
With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of you. In fact, I may have played this game for only a day or two. That being said, after doing so, I had a new joy and hope for life. I managed to leave behind the pain and suffering that had been thrust upon me. I could experience the joy and happiness of other people. I relaxed for 5 ♥♥♥♥ minutes listening to this music, long enough to realize that I would be okay.
After realizing this, I turned off the game and went back to work. My hand hurt a lot, but I was motivated. I stopped feeling so sorry for myself and became the father I needed to be at that moment, not the weak boy I was behaving like.
Today, I am close friends with the mother of my children. We don't fight, argue, or say hurtful things to each other. We are parents and friends.
Now I have 3 children. My third child is, wait, ALSO 4 YEARS OLD. The woman I am with was going through a very similar situation at the time of my separation, and we just unexpectedly stumbled into each other's lives. We have been dating for a year and are very happy together.
Moral of the story: you never know what life has in store for you, and if I had given up when all odds were against me, I wouldn't be where I am today. This silly little game helped me realize that.
Thank you.

I could say it's a great game but I just don't get the hype for these types of platform games. And if people really wanna feel nostalgie about video games there are better alternatives than this one so I would highly object that idea.
Adventures Of Fluzz is yet another construction kit template copy+paste from serial shovelware pushers, Volens Nolens Games/Enoops. These guys do nothing but copy premade game templates and game tutorials, fill out a few things/stamp out basic levels using the construction kit templates, slap on an asset flipped set of sprites/assets, and dump them on Steam and into cheap nasty shovelware game bundles as cash grabs. Trying to get paid for someone else's game templates, assets... at best, this is shovelware, at worst, it's a scam/cash grab.
TopArcadeApps/Volens Nolens Games/Enoops have shown a repeat pattern of unethically dumping other people's work onto Steam as a cheap, nasty cash grab, through this account or through closely linked/alt accounts. Here's some examples so you can see for yourself:
- "Little Adventure" = AB1 - Fantasy Platformer bundle developed by Yoyogames (as Enoops)
- "Little Adventure 2" = AB1 - Fantasy Platformer bundle developed by Yoyogames (as Enoops)
- "Deadly Threat" = POLYGON Dungeons - Low Poly 3D Art by Synty developed by Synty Studios (as Enoops)
- "Mighty Vikings" = Polygon Vikings Pack developed by Synty Games (as Enoops)
[*] "Book of Shadows" = Polygon Western - Low Poly 3D Art Pack developed by Synty Studios (as Enoops)
Taking this shovelware seriously as if it was a genuine attempt to make a game, it's just a badly made 2D retro pixel platformer with a rabbit theme, bad graphics and some seriously floaty, janky controls.
It doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard.
A choice was made to use obsolete, decades old retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result.
There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display. There's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision.
The game only displays in 4:3 pillarboxed aspect ratio. It's possible they developed this using an old CRT they found in a dumpster, or this game has been specifically designed for people gaming on PC's from 1995... either way, this isn't really acceptable in the modern era of PC gaming.
The controls and game handling are notably very floaty and imprecise. It's janky and unsatisfying to play... and any experienced gamer will tell you, the handling, responsiveness and general gameplay feel of the control scheme must be well polished for this kind of game to succeed. Unfortunately, this is something the developer seems to have phoned in, with little to no apparent gameplay testing or polish done.
The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers, or gamers using AZERTY or other international keyboard layouts.
These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game.
The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 50,000 games for gamers to choose from (over 9,000 completely free titles), the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected.
Reviewing SteamDB to check how popular this game was with players reveals a surprise... there's a very healthy spike in player counts for the game. But this only appears around the same time that trading cards were applied to the game... so this is just card idlers getting their cards and moving on. A closer look at the numbers shows the game just has a couple of players every week running up the game and idling it for cards, then deleting it. We must ask how it benefits gamers for there to be so many games like this, with no merit as a serious game, that only generate sales from people idling and selling the trading cards.
Adventures Of Fluzz has the insane price of around $5 USD, it's not worth it given the defects and shortcomings with the product, especially considering the unethical nature of the developer. Remember that if you buy a game from an unethical developer, you're putting your money at risk.
I felt my IQ going down after completing the first level.
This is an exceptionally well done game. The attention to detail is outstanding.
It basically follows the 16-bit (SNES, Genesis, Amiga, etc) style of platformer except here everything is in HD. The levels are colorful, well drawn and most important there is a good amount of interaction.
The gameplay is very good! It's the kind of game that encourages exploration with the idea that if you die no big deal you've learned something so try again armed with the knowledge you just gained. That is old school. And here it is very well done.
The pace of the game is a bit on the slow side for my personal taste but certainly not so much as to ruin the game. The only part that I think absolutely should be faster is when you die. I don't want to wait for my bunny angel to rise up to heaven. Perhaps there is a way to skip that sequence but I have not found it yet. When I die I want to be able to immediately get right back to the start of the level and start playing again.
Besides that this game is excellent! Oh another thing I want to mention is the music & sounds. Both are superb. The music puts me in a sort of fun lazy mood. The sounds are very effective at complementing the on-screen interaction. Overall the entire game is very well done and it is easy to see the developer spent a lot of care and time creating this game.
Highly recommended if you enjoy platform games.
I downloaded Adventures of Fluzz as an experiment. I wanted to play a game that had absolutely no review on it, and do my part for the Steam community by writing a comprehensive review that will help inform others before purchasing.
My expiereince of Adventures of Fluzz:
In the world of FLuzz, not everything makes sense. YOu're not told all the controls (or even given the option to look them up) but that does add to the sense of adventure somewhat. It's also not quite clear why you are a luminous pink rabbit, running round collecting apples and oranges, rather than carrots....either way, I salute you for trying to break the stereotype of Rabbits always wanting carrots. You will also come up against dogs shotting tomatos, spynx's shooting lasers out of their eyes and mosquitos trying to defecate on your rabbit head. (also hedgehogs in the desert, but please let me if this is actually common IRL)
Despite the somewhat strange concept of this game, it is quite and entertaining distraction and it borrows alot from classics such as Mario and Sonic.
It's not quite as polished as it could be (i had difficulty returning to menu etc when dying) but it was a relatively fun 45 minutes for the price of a large Mc Donalds. And who can say that's not good value.
I also got to number 39 on the worldwide leaderboards! With some more practice and real commitment, you might even be able to beat Frodo, who is currently holding the number one spot.
Overall, I would recommend this game for a fun light hearted 40 minutes - 1 hour, but would recommend that the dev lowers the price to entice more players.
