In these short experiences you are sat in a chair with your hands in front of you on the keyboard. The only rule is that no matter what happens you can't let go of the keyboard buttons. The game will try to scare, shock and otherwise persuade you to let go!

i played both levels not scary what so ever shit graphics uses the same idea's with bugs going in your ear twice not worth the $4.50 that i spent in fact this should be free or at least it should not describe its self as scary and shit dont buy this game its only 10 mins and its not fun to replay
Shit by todays standards, give it a miss. No interactivity and less than ten minutes long.
Don't Let Go is a simple and classic VR game. This was a decent game that was made in the earlier days of VR. There are only 2 different environments that you can play which is the Office or the Dessert. Same places, same bugs, knives, snakes and UFO's. So the replay quality is not that great but its a fun little thing to play with the first time around or for newcomers to VR and even parties.
For $3 dollars its not a bad deal.

when i first look at this game i didn't think much of it but it seem like it could be good so i gave it ago, and its actully pretty good. with only two levels their isn't much to do you yet but if more levels where to be created or a workshop set up so others could add maps this would make a fun challange game for friends.
Boring, low quality graphics and just a poor excuse of a "game" if it can be called that!
Classic!
It is actually a classic VR experience. As it all started this thing was a hype on youtube and everyone saw crying people on camera (well actually you didn't see theme because of the oculus in their faces)
But everyone was terrified of the creepy possibilities that VR can give you.
Aracnophic people be warned!
People which are scared of dinosaurs be warned! (its actually pretty cute <3)
And some other fears are included in the game.
It is a fun experience you can share with your friends but you have to wear headphones to get the best sound experience...
The sound design is great and mean by the way! Well done!
The graphics are old and you have to live with non realistic graphics, which are anyway are working pretty good, because of the keyboard idea.
A little mean is it, that you have to go through everything again if you were scared, so that some not that brave people will maybe never see the ******* ending that the developer made for you.
Fun fact if you saw the last thing they do inside the game, play it again and try to be prepared. It wont work because they were clever ;)

Me and my girlfriend love this game. There are 2 locations which are both cool!
Pros:
Interesting concept
Nice ideas, it really does scare you/make you jump!
Reasonable price
Old people and family who arent good using the computers are great with this! I think it would be good for VR
experiences where people go that can't or are unable to use the controllers. They can just sit 'n watch with this!
BEST PART!: you can use a dressing gown/bath robe rope to shock the person when the snake comes on screen. Just
slither it over their arm when the snake comes on!
Cons-
Some parts are strange and don't make much sense. In the office a dinosaur comes in whos feet clip through the floor and the dinosaur is kinda scaled wrong.
Short (2 locations)
Overall i recommend this when showing family members and at parties as it doesn't really have any replayability.
RANDOM ONE: Sit close, the 'real' arms look better and less stretched when sat closer to the in-game laptop :)

Im new to VR and thought this did a great job of showing you some experiances, until the Mrs sneaks in to watch and when the spider walks accross your hand at the same time she moves her fingers over my hand, I nearly died!!!
The main fault its its far far to short, the creator could have put so much more into it to make it a lot scarier and more fun, howvevr for the price I would still say its worth a shot.
A great game experience to have with friends/family. Don't believe the other idiots that gave this game a bad review. I would love to have a sequel !
If you have arachnophobia and want to face it, this is quite a good game. It took me several attempts just to be able to sit through. I found that the anxiety beforehand was a lot worse than the actual experience. Good for demoing to people too.
This game is great fun (Not so much for those who have a fear of Spiders, Snakes etc LOL) Definitely a game to share with the family and friends.. Half the fun is seeing other peoples reaction.
I managed to survive both levels without letting go of the Key on the Keyboard. Not really much in the way of cheap Jump-Scares either. Great concept, short, cheap and fun for everyone!

This is a joke, for 3 euros you get 2 very short and basic experiences with bad graphics. Stay away.
Don't Let Go started out as a demo when the Rift was still in the devkit phase, and it was one of my favorites. It merely asks you to keep your hands on the keyboard and not to let go, as it tries to spook you with common phobias and jump scares. Most of the people I shared it with ended up letting go sooner or later, but being a bit more desensitized myself I just enjoyed the variety of situations it threw at me. The non-moving in-game hands make for some suprisingly effective immersion since it matches what you're supposed to be doing, though the farther you are from "white male" the less the hands will match your reality.
What was in that demo is essentially the Office portion of this release, while the Desert is an all-new addition. They're each only a few minutes--I just went through both and my Steam time is only 11 minutes. But this is the kind of thing I will show to many people as one of their first uncomplicated experiences, so I do anticipate racking up more time.
For me it was an easy buy, but if you won't be showing off VR to people and unlike me don't already have appreciation for having used part of it for free years ago, $3 will probably seem too steep for how short it is.
Excellent idea but I think the implementation is lacking a little. Unless you don't have any extremely weak nerves or deep fear of at least one appearing creature this game is going to be only holding the two control keys down for ten minutes. What is as funny as it sounds.
Let's be honest... this game literally lasts 10 minutes. But it's a relatively cute 10 minutes. Whilst I didn't let go at all (though I almost did purely for having my hands on ctrl the whole time) it was kind of fun to see the creatures and the environments of this game. If they added more levels, it probably would be worth the £2. At the moment, for 10 minutes of "scares" its only worth 50p. But hey.
It's a neat experience, and cheap. Extremely short, and in need of some polish. Probably best if you want to demo the Vive to your friends. The sense of presence is excellent since it renders your body in approximately the same position as it is in real life. If you like VR for the sake of VR, it's worth picking up.
A classic original experience from the DK2 days! So nice to see it on Steam, with new content and improvements all-around. A great introduction to VR for newcomers, and good value at the price of a loaf of bread.
Some great animations and effects. I especially enjoyed the enter/exit from the laptop screen. Very nice!

Wow, got me few times. Even tho its short it's definitely worth it as kinda unique experience of it's own and even more so if you have a bunch of people to show it for in the future :)
This might be cheap but by now we've experienced far better and it's not scary or particularly interesting. Quality requirements have gone up and this is too late to meet the standard whatever the price. Sorry devs but things are moving on quickly and any old vr experience isn't enough anymore.
Good experience. About 10 mins or so with both maps. Looks good. Creepy with the Spider. Very good demo. No motion controls as you have to keep both hands on the control keys of the keyboard and not lift them off. Good for the money.
