Престон Стерлинг - авантюрист, искатель приключений и охотник за сокровищами. Как правило, он не боится сложных задач, но его новое задание заставляет его действовать на пределе своих возможностей. Ведь речь идет о самом таинственном артефакте в английской мифологии - об Эскалибуре, мече легендарного короля Артура. Но охота за этим известнейшим сокровищем таит в себе множество опасностей, гораздо больше, чем он предполагал.

A short, entertaining point-and-click adventure (playthrough in ~90 minutes). Good graphics and story. The mini-games and puzzles are fairly standard and not particularly challenging (especially for seasoned HOG & puzzle gamers). Looking forward to more games from Animation Arts!
Not recommended because:
1. It's made for mobile phones, so the controls are terrible
2. When you fail on something and you need to repeat the action sequence, the frame rate falls dramatically (while before the repetition it was totally fine)
3. The game's "puzzles" are a combination of simple mini-games like sudoku, move the squares to fix the image, navigate the maze, slide the stones to "free" the coloured one. There was one actual inventory puzzle which was below easy to "solve".
4. It includes action sequenses (made for mobile phone controls on top of that!)
5. When there's no action sequense, there's no hero on the screen. Reminded me of those cheap hidden-objects "adventures".
6. When the hero appears (a couple of times only), the graphics are bad. The backgrounds are designed well though...
7. Way too short.
Yes, it's cheap but it's a waste of your money and your time... I thought it couldn't be that bad, but it was... It's not a point and click adventure by any means. Sorry Devs, I like your other games but please, mobile phones aren't made for serious games...
Classic and good old school adventure with some good new aspects (direct control). I like it and hope for more from Animation Arts.
Very short and oh, so silly.
The puzzles are very easy, the plot holes are enormous (let's have a sword fight with a 1500 year old iron sword that's been kept in a damp environment), and the game controls are horrendous. If they had stuck to point and click, it would have been better, but fighting and running scenes with lagging controls just doesn't work.
Save your money for something better.
This game had so much promise but in hind site, I should have passed on it. It only took an hour and a half to get through but I fell asleep in the middle of the game as it was late.
Pros: Good story - think Broken Sword
Cons: Lesser characters' dialogue is so bad it's laughable

There are too many great games out now to waste money on this. I recommend taking a pass on this one.
Excellent game! Although it really isn't a true point-and-click game (there are only a few items to click on and they're always easy to find), it puts me in the same adventurer mode that other fine adventure games do. Preston Sterling isn't the world's most difficult game, which is nice for a change, and the graphics, voices, sound effects and music are all top notch. I'm eagerly looking forward to part 2.
So this game isn't a terribly long one but the fact that it is doesn't really matter as the gameplay makes up for that. Yet, there's a few things I would've liked to see handled differently in the future episodes of this game.
Considering the fact that this game is entirely point and click with the occasional puzzle scattered around makes controlling Preston incredibly difficult. You’ve got the option to literally click the spots that Preston has to move too or you can drag your mouse around to make him move but both options are incredibly difficult as there's the risk that he'll end up getting stuck on a wall. The movement segments would be a lot more enjoyable if you'd be able to use your keyboard to be able to do that but there's no option for that resulting in getting a game over a few times as I got caught.
Another thing that's a little annoying is the load screen that pops up almost every time that you've got a change of scenery. It doesn’t take long for the scenes to change, maybe 10 seconds at the most, but it's still a little annoying when you're eager to get going with the game and finish it because you want to see how the story is going to end.
Regardless of that fact though, this game is enjoyable. If you're into King Arthur mythology, a character who could be considered an English Nathan Drake, enjoy solving puzzles and searching the surrounding area for the objects you need to progress, then this game is for you. However, having said that, having bought and played the game in a little over an hour and a half? I don't know whether it's worth the 5 euros I payed for it. Especially considering the fact the terrible controls are making me reluctant to play the game again and get a better score at the end of it. (I got a score of 375 because of the way Preston is controlled as the puzzles weren’t all that difficult if you think logically about them)
All these things combined isn't enough for me to say that I don't want to play the next episodes of the series. I'm very eager to see how the story is going to end up being resolved and learning more about Preston's life/history/character and the like.
So all in all, good game if you ignore the controls.
I liked this game.It sure was fun and not too difficult. It proves that adventure games are still alive. I am waiting for the next chapter.
didnt realise is a stupid episode game
If you're looking for a fast, apparently episodic point & click game with I think less than 15 puzzles, some odd 'endless runner' type sections where you jump over things & switch lanes, plus some a couple of 'navigate this maze' sections which are uninteresting at the best of times but this has poor controls & there is a QTE swordfight. If that presses your buttons, then this is for you.
That might seem overly critical, but this isn't bad; Preston Sterling doesn't really grab me as a charismatic adventure franchise lead, he seems to lack a charm or a wit, he's just serviceable.
The voice acting & audio was fine.
First play was 53 minutes; I got given a Gamerscore 418/500 screen at the end, I never knew how score worked in old Sierra adventure games, but if you do then I guess there is replayability there.
It's not bad, it's not hidden object, it's not hard & it's To Be Continued...
