Game so I good I bought it after trying it pirated.
Panzer Warfare is yet another of literally hundreds of lazy amateur 2D retro top-down shooter/brawlers infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all video games everywhere. This particular entry in the obsolete genre is from asset flippers who set out to abuse Steam Early Access (proof below).
It's a very lazy job, minimal art for the tanks (which surprises me because these guys have no qualms about using other people's game assets and claiming them as their own). Clunky gameplay but you can at least botmatch, not that there's any reason to. PvP is obviously dead.
Kobra Studio have a known history of trying to scam people into paying them money for someone else's work. One example of Kobra Studio doing this is Second Warfare, which is really the "Post-Apo Pack" asset, written by the actual developers, Manufactura K4.
The game was abandoned roughly 2 years after launch and hasn't been updated in 6 years. It blew past the developers commitment to complete the game without any notification or admission of failure from the developer. The game will never be completed.
Taking this shovelware seriously as if it was a genuine attempt to make a game, it doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard.
While there are options to change the resolution for the game, all this does is scale up the simplistic 2D art assets used to make the game, which makes little or no difference to the graphics quality. Without any other substantial graphics tweaks, it's not possible for gamers to improve the lacklustre 2D visuals.
The game features extremely lazy, minimalist "art", of the type you normally expect to see in low effort Flash/browser games and mobile apps. Considering this is being evaluated as a PC game, having the graphics phoned in like this isn't going to result in a high quality, visually impressive game that PC gamers are used to seeing.
This looks and feels like a mobile app, but I wasn't able to find it on the app stores. Maybe it was removed, maybe it was rejected by Apple and Google (they do have more rigorous quality standards than Valve does for Steam, after all).
Regardless, for all intents and purposes Panzer Warfare might as well be a mobile app, it has the same limitations and dumbed down qualities. It's impossible to recommend such a game to PC gamers. We don't spend all this money building gaming rigs so we can pretend they're iPhones and play games that might as well be mobile apps.
These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game.
You don't have to take my word about how bad the game is, we can measure the interest in a game by how much people bothered to play it. Panzer Warfare has achievements, and they show us a very clear picture that the game absolutely failed to capture any interest from gamers. The most commonly and easily attained achievement is for launching the game, trivial to achieve, but less than 7 percent of players bothered to get that far before uninstalling the game. That's a tiny, tiny proportion of gamers who even bothered with this. Ouch.
Reviewing SteamDB to check how popular this game was with players reveals a surprise... there's a very healthy spike in player counts for the game. But this only happened once, and isn't consistent with the achievement stats, that show less than 7 percent of players bothered playing the game for any reasonable amount of time. How is it possible for this game to have so many concurrent players who didn't bother engaging with this game? Trading cards. People will use card idling software to collect the cards and sell them, but this won't trigger any achievements in-game.
That tells us people only really bought this game for trading cards, and that's a damning indictment of the woeful quality. A closer look at the numbers shows the game just has a couple of players every week running up the game and idling it for cards, then deleting it. We must ask how it benefits gamers for there to be so many games like this, with no merit as a serious game, that only generate sales from people idling and selling the trading cards.
Unethically, the developer sold keys to this abandoned Early Access game into cheap, nasty game bundles, where they knew it would be advertised and sold as a complete PC game. This seems to have been done in an attempt to mislead gamers into buying a knowingly faulty, defective and incomplete product. When a developer does this for a game they have zero practical intention of completing, this is essentially a scam, an intention to get paid for a broken/unfinished product. Often this is done as an exit strategy, as the developer takes the money and runs. No refunds have been given, the developer kept all the money they took from gamers.
Another unethical act of this developer, knowing full well that this game is abandoned and they will never complete it, they are deliberately trying to scam gamers into buying it by offering it on discount from time to time. It's impossible to "accidentally" discount a game. The developer looked at their abandoned game, and instead of doing the right thing and removing it from Steam, they instead doubled-down and tried to scam even more people into paying for it. Greedy, and completely unethical. Doing the wrong thing, on purpose, for money. This is not okay.
Furthering the unethical nature of this developer, while they are selling this incomplete game under Valve's failed Early Access program, they're abusing that program, and not working on this game full time, as they have other projects in the works. That means there's ZERO confidence anyone who buys this in Early Access will receive a complete game, and it's possible that they're being scammed.
Panzer Warfare is relatively cheap at $2 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, and the questionable ethical nature of the developer and/or their associates (as outlined above), this is impossible to recommend. Because this is the kind of game you can just play for free on mobile phones, it's impossible to recommend anyone should pay money for the same experience on Steam. This is also competing with over 9,000 free games available on Steam, many of them far better than this paid product.

3 years on alpha stage (early stage) for a poorly built game. 0/10 will play again. Avoid any game from this studio please.

Only downside is that it wouldn't load my data in MS Excel format, which is not convenient for me as I needed to process them

Im not saying that I was born to play this game, but I knew that I was destined to play it from birth. Only a select few have the mental, emotional, and physical capability to play this game, no, this experience. While it may be dark and gritty, and at time you may feel like just giving up and quitting this game forever, you should. Only true men, born from protein and fire will be able to look at this game for more than one millisecond. Are you up to the challenge? Well sit back down your not ready. Your a$$ is a wad of cookie dough right now. But with enough practice and determination, you'll be able to play this game. With a body carved out of wood, you'll watch as your hands use muscle memory to go through hordes of other panzers. You'll watch in terror as you show no mercy to your friends, all in the name of panzer warfare.

Great game. Lasting fun. Needs more players! it is cheep and worth the money. One of the best games I have ever played I like the mechaics and how the game works. The one issue is that there is not a big player base. so get the game and make the playerbase bigger!

Finished the game and all achievements in 30 minutes, a good way to get achievements and wasting a single hour, still it brings nostalgia when I play browser and pixel games (battle city).
Forgive me about this review for not reviewing it really well but it was so fast and little to do, the price was also cheap that the trading card and achievements enticed me.

These guys just pump out games that will never be done, and reuse the same descriptions and Early Access answers for each game. It's not even worth investing in.
