From all the hours I have played I haven't beat the damn game, yet I still come back to this game again and aging, peak fiction.
Great chaotic game to play alone, but even better with friends. I'm looking forward to the sequel.
I can't just pick this game up and stop going run after run. It's got so many ways to play it's just got so much replay ability honestly one of my favorite games. The more you get the hang of each map and how to interact with everything the more rewarding it feels. (Vampires are my current favorite to play as) There as so many options I can't say enough how much fun I have even when I'm killed by random bs and have to start all over again I just keep coming back.

This is honestly one of my favorite games. There's just so much variety between characters, and each run can be changed through the loadout, traits, characters, *custom* characters, and mutations. I love it.

As someone who generally *dislikes" roguelite games I find this game to be a satisfying exception. This game is filled to the brim with content, tons of humor, and is satisfyingly frustrating. As someone who comes from the world of Stardew Valley I've come to really appreciate 1-man dev teams as they somehow seem to be able to put out better games than multi-million dollar companies. This is a genuinely fun game to hop on with along with some friends and have stupid fun. Also, the soundtrack goes hard for no reason.
Great sandbox roguelike with a sequel coming soon. It is relentlessly chaotic and has some deep emergent gameplay.

Super silly game, with so many different characters with ways to play. Super super fun.
A fun rogue-like, where you traverse a chaotic series of streets to reach the Mayor's Town via any means necessary. I really liked the variety of characters available, and how much flexibility that gave you in playstyles, whether that was fully combat-oriented, or more of a stealth build. All felt fun to play, and I am glad I picked up and completed this game!
Got it on sale for like $6. It's so worth it.
Bought this to play with gf. Both stay up till 5am to beat the game. One of the best game co op you can play with your gf.

If you like dark souls this is for you. It's just do hard and beyond frustrating to be relaxing or fun.
A pretty good freedom of choice sandbox game.
Top 3 game of all time for me, also including Hollow Knight. I don't think I've ever had this many options in a non open-world game before (I also haven't played Dwarf Fortress). Tons of characters, tons of options, multiple endings, different play styles being viable, and so much more. If you're unsure, you can get it on sale for $4, but it's worth it at full price too.
Good game. Leaves many ways to approach any one situation based on tools at your disposal, a true roguelite sandbox. Highly recommend.

you know its a good game when i just injected myself with sulphuric acid to avoid withdrawal symptoms, knocked a shop owner into a generator exploding myself in the process and started a large scale gunfight by getting a cop to shoot a mobster to escape, only to be stabbed in the back by a group of assassins
I told a joke to the fire department and got beat to death

ok so i totally did NOT expect this game to be SO FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! a roguelike hasn't enchanted me and hooked me ever since i finished the binding of isaac, but man, this game!!!! despite being a roguelike it has a great plot, fun mechanics and much much more than what you see on the surface. i know i didn't play through it that much, but i'm sure everyone will have lots of fun when buying it :)

Thank you Streets of Rogue for letting me play as a corrupt cop, a cyanide gassing scientist, a drugged up monkey, etc. One of the funniest games that I've ever played
The relatively small stages, mixed with the very chaotic gameplay, lead this to be one of the best co-op experiences on PC.
Just started playing this but its really fun and unique.
This game is so chaotic I don't have a way to explain it more than a wild D&D game where anything can happen to you. NEVER get to relaxed, that's how you die. 10/10 No notes.
I wanted to say thanks for this game. It's been amazing. I can't believe I've only played 53.8 hours. I've played a lot of offline time that might not have been recorded, as a dad with a steam deck. This game has it all. Hardcore cyberpunk action. Compelling stories. Violent action that won't traumatize a kid if they happen to look over my shoulder. I wish there was an LFG feature. Can't wait to support the dev and buy SOR 2. Probably going to gift it to my wife or a friend since its on sale.

I've played for only 5 hours but oh boy, this must be one of the very best 2D games I've ever played. I'm on a stage of my life that I rarely come to the PC to play 2D games at all, I only come for the fancy ones like Elden Ring, but this one is a bloody charm, it's really fucking clever and fun to play. First you get the grip of not dying as a soldier, but when you learn to get to the industrial zone as a doctor with its tranquilizer, beating generators with his fist, it's just very dopamine inducing. Truly amazing game!

Its a super fun game. I played it with my boyfriend almost to the end. But right before we got the mayors hat, we both screwed up and we had to start all over again. I really recommend to play coop.
this game is pure fun. you've got a whole assortment of playstyles that all have a varying level of immersion to them, even with the simplistic graphical styles.
Yeah, the generated quests do fall into like 5 or so categories, but the fun of navigating these quests with an insane amount of character differentiation is where it absolutely rules.
My personal favorite class is Zombie, seeing an experience that itches that nostalgia I have for Stubb's The Zombie.
It's a great little comfy project, and I'm excited for the sequel!
Very fun beat 'em up roguelike game. It has a lot of variety in characters you can play, items, strategies to win, and difficulties to overcome. I really enjoyed playing it on my steamdeck and thought it was a perfect game to pick up and put down while traveling.
I am one of the few people who just does not find this game to be much fun i guess. I am not sure I see the fun of this game it is very repetitive and super basic just the same objectives over and over feels like a goofy unpolished Hotline Miami.

A ton of fun - great on the Steam Deck, the only issue I noticed is that you need to use the mouse to start a game - but once in the base or ingame it plays flawlessly.
