I am 32 years old.
My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old.
When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing.
Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side.
With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of you. In fact, I may have played this game for only a day or two. That being said, after doing so, I had a new joy and hope for life. I managed to leave behind the pain and suffering that had been thrust upon me. I could experience the joy and happiness of other people. I relaxed for 5 ♥♥♥♥ minutes listening to this music, long enough to realize that I would be okay.
After realizing this, I turned off the game and went back to work. My hand hurt a lot, but I was motivated. I stopped feeling so sorry for myself and became the father I needed to be at that moment, not the weak boy I was behaving like.
Today, I am close friends with the mother of my children. We don't fight, argue, or say hurtful things to each other. We are parents and friends.
Now I have 3 children. My third child is, wait, ALSO 4 YEARS OLD. The woman I am with was going through a very similar situation at the time of my separation, and we just unexpectedly stumbled into each other's lives. We have been dating for a year and are very happy together.
Moral of the story: you never know what life has in store for you, and if I had given up when all odds were against me, I wouldn't be where I am today. This silly little game helped me realize that.
Thank you.
some spooky moments i get 6.9 hours at all

Very nice horror game. Good for you devs!
Nice indie game
I found this game very enjoyable, but I had to put up with a few very annoying bugs/ aspects of the game. If 5/10 is average I would give this a strong 6.8/10
+Atmosphere
+Scares
+Pacing
+graphics
+Value
+puzzles
-Very annoying screen effect when attacked
- Very strange lighting effects//bug( Look at the moon for a second and then everything else becomes dark )
-Enemy bugs, clipping bugs, item bugs, bugs bugs.
-Sometimes its unclear where to go and what to do.
The monsters and ghosts are really well made. You will come across some cool locations such as forests, lakes, train stations, cemetaries and mazes. If you like horror games youll enjoy this no doubt.
Ok. This game is... I guess confusing is the best way to describe it. It's not inherently difficult, but there's just no rhyme or reason to it that I can find. (Granted, I've only finished the first two chapters... Of a currently unknown total to me).
Gameplay
Gameplay consists of running around with a torch that needs slapping every 20-30 seconds. You run around and eventually find a note that tells you to go somewhere, so you go there and pick something up, run around trying to work out where you use it. Then the cycle repeats. You'll find places you want to use thing long before you find what you need to use. That's pretty much all I've picked up so far in regards to gameplay.
Controls
Move with WASD, toggle torch with Q, slap torch (because that makes batteries last forever) with R. There's a map on the first chapter but it doesn't tell you where you are, so it's mostly guess work. All fairly by the book. Shift is run. Remember that, it's the key you'll be holding on to for dear life because of...
Enemies
In Chapter 1, the story has only just started so you get the easy to avoid enemies such as:
- Mosquitos(?) That can kill you ridiculously quickly and blend into the rest of the floating debris so you don't know you're in the middle of them until it's too late. To avoid: Stick to the path.
[*] The assistant, or what was, your assistant. He's faster than you, can run farther than you and when he hits you, the screen flies into such jaunty angles, it's difficult to see where you're actually going. Seriously, you'll die. A lot because you need to run to exact places for him to despawn and it's all just guesswork.
Chapter Two introduces two more enemies (though you only see one once during a scene). The other is a floating man...thing that you have to run away from for two minutes before being allowed to continue. It's annoying since, as well as the features of The Assistant, he can teleport right in front of you without warning.
Story
So... You're a corrupt politician who's on the run for something (it might have been explained, but I've forgotten if it was). Anyway, you’re in the woods and everything goes South, fast. Then you find out some woman died
Audio
Something not inherently bad about the story, unless you can’t read, is that it’s all in Spanish. There’s no audible language feature. So you have to manually read everything. Figured it was worth noting since the Spanish – English translation could use some work. It’s not unreadable but it’s not good by general standards.
The Enemies seem to have a single SFX, so the repeated chases by The Assistant carry a monotonous “generic groaning noise” making the experience even more dull.
Overview
I think I got this game as part of a bundle, when I checked the receipt, I think it ended up costing me about £1. I’ve, so far, put 6hours into it... which is really the first chapter twice (because I had no idea where I was going and gave up eventually first time) and Chapter 2 (replaying most of it because the Checkpoints are few and far between. Mix that with The Assistant and you get the idea).
Either way, if I had the opportunity to, I’d refund it. It’s listed as £7 and I’d have been kicking myself if I paid that much for it. I don’t think I’ve enjoyed playing it as I’ve persevered.
