It's an okay game, but it was a bit short for the price and it doesn't seem to have a bonus chapter. A lot of people are cross about the choices and the achievements. Personally, I'm not too bothered about the achievements, and while the choices aren't all they're cracked up to be, they're not a negative either.
Not the best of Artifex Mundi but not the worst either.
Interesting that your choices can impact the ending, haven't seen that before in a hidden object game. Bit short, but you can always play at a later stage with different choices
This is a solid game with some really nice music, gorgeous scenery, and it serves a subtle enough continuation of the first game that you don't necessarily need to remember exactly what happened in that game if you're like me and played it three years ago. It tells a story of grief and love and what people do to try to deal with those feelings, and, frankly, it's rather sad in a good way. None of the hidden object puzzles have mistakes and they're even somewhat challenging at times, and most of the minigames are straightforward and contribute to the story. Nicely done.
Played it a second time with different choices, and I'm kinda underwhelmed. First playthrough as being a good person was best. The achievement for doing it also didn't take, so I'm guessing you need to do it all in once sitting, which I don't feel like playing a third-fourth time to get.
Shorter than the first one, but a bit higher quality animation and sound tracks. Good sequel.
