An interesting mix of FPS, space sim and RTS, with the latter being the biggest part. This gives the game a unique sense of scale.
A hidden gem, if you can handle an initial learning curve, which isn't really steep, but the game has some new mechanics you probably not experienced in your previous adventures.
I loved the first game growing up, the second game is amazing and i would love to see it more developed down the line
Save your time and don't waste your money on this "game".
bro i didn't realize i was playing 15 hours on it, it does need some work on the mechanics but its fun
A really fun indie rts sandbox and a perfect place to enjoy space battles from an rts,3rd person and 1st person perspective
It has potential!
That being said , even tho it says it's no longer in early access the game needs more polish and its ripe with unimplemented features.
Even so I would recommend the game !
10/10 scratches that itch.
This game keeps it simple on the RTS side and the FPS side.
RTS SIDE
-Simple building management
-Simple Troop orders
-Simple Upgrades
FPS SIDE
-Simple aiming mechanics, similar to the FPS of Nintendo 64
-Simple Activation mechanics/ Entering a vehicle and flying.
This is a great start for mixing FPS/RTS, but lacks more in the FPS side rather than the RTS side.
Side NOTE: As A Kid that grew up in the 1980s-1990s I totally wanted to do FPS in my brother's Command and Conquer game. The closest we got was C&C Renegade. But without the RTS mode. It was not exactly what I wanted to do.
This game melds the modes best.
i cant wait to see the end product of this game its very fun
based
The game can be very janky and confusing, but the combat, especially as executron, is an experience well worth the money! Put two Hard computers together and play as executron to join in the carnage. Command space fighters or mega battle cruisers or fight on foot with ground forces like infantry and massive battle mechs. There are so many moving parts to this admittedly awkward game, but when the parts move in unison, it's an experience that no other game has been able to replicate!
What is it? It's kind of an RTS/FPS hybrid... but that only scratches the surface. The CEO builds from a top-down view like a standard RTS and the executrons do the will of the CEO from first person. It works well as a single player, coop, and team-vs-team game. Build your custom empire with custom name, logo and sales product to dominate your competitors. Amass huge fleets of ships and ground forces as you bully out your competition. It's the only game I've played so far that lets me sell cybernetic space otters in bulk while simultaneously building a mega ship that doubles as a Death Star. Nuff said.
It's a bit scuffed, but the blend of FPS and RTS is really good and leads to some cool moments. It's great fun with a group of people
I've been checking this out every 6 months or so and theres actually a full game there now!! Very fun
good little game for killing for a few hours. Normal strategy game build a base, economy, and army. No campaign and gets old fast because its simple but for killing an hour or two its great.
maybe think about letting the Spy faction have a free prob as if they get destroy and you cant afford a new one the game just stops working.
same logic as you do for the science faction with tthe gateways
been with this game since its early days and i've enjoyed seeing it grow. This game feels like an early access due to it not feeling fully fleshed out, however i still recommend this game. It's one of the best rts/fps games out there and once you get the hang of the game it is really fun, especially when you get a few buddies to play as your generals.
its amazing
Everything I've ever wanted in a RTS
Great idea and pretty well executed.
awesome concept, amazing game very in depth and impressive. anyone complaining about graphics watches bubble guppies
This game is fine if you're the CEO, but playing as a soldier is fucking boring.
honestly, the games got fantastic potential but every idea is half cocked/super surface level. the FPS portion is choppy and gunplay isn't very well done and the flying mechanics are in the same boat. despite being pulled out of early access in 2024 the game still feels like its in EA, none of the mechanics have depth and the game feels more like a technical showcasing than a game thats been in development for several years. I wouldn't buy this game unless it was half priced or lower
I can strongly recommend this game. I played Executive Assault 1 and it was a real love of mine - even on my garbage laptop. Buying EA2 some many months ago I felt disappointed when I first played it but my goodness this has become something amazing. I've picked it up finally and I'm glad I did. An FPS/RTS hybrid with exceptionally designed factions.
If you like RTS, pressing buttons on panels (goddamn I love pressing buttons), shooting things and driving huge mechs, tanks and ships - don't sleep on this game.
The game is really good.. But you run out of stuff to do. after first couple hours.
This game had the potential...but it is half baked.
The definition of scope creep, so many ideas, but many of them unfinished.
Pros:
Epic battles when it all works.
Decent graphics
Good pacing.
Cons:
Coop is unbearable. The restrictions helping someone are too much to I may as well play as another empire instead.
UI, not really there. There is no easy way to track yourships, or an overlay that tells you where all your resources are being spent. You maxed out your ship cap? Show me an overlay with how many ships of each type.
The game truly feels like it is early access of an early access. Modern graphics but 1990s gameplay/overlays.
Played it more than 2 hours so I cant return it, I tried liking it but...not worth the money yet.
Yet. If it can be fleshed out and it needs MUCH work it would be an epic coop multiplayer for many to join. But right now...do not get it.
yummy
Great game to play with friends, had fun. 8/10.
I played most of the tutorials but when I actually got into a game with my friends I had no idea what I was supposed to do as an Executron. Maybe include a short tutorial for that as well? There was some z fighting on some of the models but I'm unsure if that was due to my graphics settings.
I am now going to be playing singleplayer to see how well that plays, thanks for the fun game devs!
Just didn't find it fun really. The economy system seems oddly unbalanced, and while you can encounter enemies fairly easily, they're almost always 3 stages ahead of you in terms of military power and economical power, I.e., you're just a scrub whether you're a CEO or a Bot. Granted, I play for 30 mins, then delete the game for a couple months only to hope when I come back things feel smoother (they don't).
Needless to say, I'm not the best reviewer here, but I felt largely bored and outclassed at every turn.
Hard to master but when you understand the basics this game becomes one of the best RTS/FPS games out there.
Only thing i want is more content but with the actual content you have so many hours of gameplay
Its so damn good, and gone so soon before its time.
Fun game especially with friends, very underrated IMO
as long as your not a mongoloid you can learn how to play the game and it is very fun
Gameplay mechanics are way better than most of the AAA competitors. This game actually lets you do things you want to do rather than race to the baddest ass units and launch a frontal assault. Deep tactics and interesting af!
My PC just has a bluescreen when i try to launch a map.
This might be the best game I have ever played. If your'e and RTS fan and you have some FPS blood in you, this game has combined the two; I never thought it would be done at such a graphic and detailed way this game has done it. I have to play this more but this might challenge my favorite game of all time. 100/10 recommend.
Fun game to play with the bros. One commander, a few fighters and quite a blast
Very good, excited for the new update. Nothing better than escaping like an evil villain to an outpost or ally HQ while being bombarded from the sky.
the new american dream but i can sell new mexico as a product
I really want to like this game but the UI is clunky and unintuitive. Half the time spent playing is trying to make sense of this bizarre menu system
Fun but bug filled.
Half the buttons don't work until you close and re enter a game most of the time.
As a player of Executive Assault 2, I’ve enjoyed its unique mix of RTS and FPS gameplay set in deep space. Building and customizing my base, commanding fleets, and engaging in fast-paced combat are thrilling. The ability to seamlessly switch between commanding from the top-down view and jumping into the cockpit for direct control of units adds depth to the gameplay. Despite the steep learning curve and lack of tutorials, mastering the game feels rewarding. Multiplayer is a blast, especially with friends, as you collaborate on strategies and dominate together. Overall, it's a solid choice for fans of space-themed strategy games who enjoy a bit of everything.
an excellent RTS/FPS hybrid that needs polishing and balancing but you will have fun here, whatever it'll be watching big battles taking place on ground or in space or flying around in a fighter craft or a corvette taking part in the battle or leading the battle as a CEO (RTS)
This game is one of those gems that has gone mostly unnoticed.
Looking forward to the big update that is coming!
(Please keep in mind it's only one guy working on this game and whats been made thus far is great!)
I quite enjoy this game. It's not perfectly polished, but it's very fun and unique.

Great game with friends
I've never owned this game...
Can someone just buy it to tell me if its worth it?
The Graphics are that of a PS2 era game. The UI is not manageable, but not great. The base building is very restrictive with the power supply and only being able to have one power plant. The FPS is designed for pretty much Multiplayer only and you have no AI to back you up solo against multiple opponents on single player. If you die you get sent back all the way to the starting spawn and have to travel all the way back to where you previously died. Definitely needs a lot of polish and more single player FPS quality of life improvements.
very good
fought my friends to a stalemate, so we decided to all land on one asteroid and duel it out, executive to executive.
One of them crashed their ship on the way there, and the other accidentally summoned what few troops he had left and they riddled me with plasma.
No notes, perfect game.
