best strategy game even now, with useful features that would blow the mind of devs that make strategy games nowdays

Very fun game

I played this game a ton as a child. As an adult, its still fun. Certainly a good purchase if you find it on sale or really love the C&C series. (Personally its my favorite in the series)

ive put on so many hours on this game as its the best of this series. didnt care much for 4. but this game is fun to play over and over.

With control feeling clumsy, graphics dated and all, this game still offers a hell lot of fun.

Skirmish does not work. AI does nothing. Even hard AI ends up doing nothing but building refineries.

Is kanes wrath. Is good wrath.

Still get the Direct3D error crash in 2025. Very annoying

RTS in pure form. Like the "risk" style mode of Global Conquest, thats a nice touch.

Great story focused on Kane and the Brotherhood of Nod, and great gameplay. Good game overall

I’m happy to admit this is easily my favourite Command & Conquer game by a country mile, and honestly one of my all-time favourite RTS games.

It’s super fast-paced at times, which I actually love since I usually play as Nod anyway. The game looked amazing for its time, the factions are all really cool, and I’m a big fan of the darker (yet still kinda campy) tone.

I've played a lot more than three hours over the years! A classic.

As good as I remembered. One of the biggest gems of the CnC series.

You might have to mess with the graphics settings and resolution manually to get it to run at the best quality for your setup, the auto-detect didn't work for me.

kane's story explored in detail, great addition is global domination mode that plays like grand strategy and rts combo. peak c&c.

This sequel to 2007’s “C&C3: Tiberium Wars” was surprisingly enjoyable for me. While I remain unconvinced by the general art direction and design choices of these two entries in the series, the missions in this “expansion” feel more polished—almost reminiscent of the old Westwood days when expansions were smaller in scale but missions received more care. The storytelling, by focusing solely on Kane and the Nod perspective, delivers a tighter narrative that avoids feeling scattered. The main drawback is its brevity, unless you’re particularly drawn to the turn-based ‘Global Conquest’ mode. Most importantly, “Kane’s Wrath” stars Natasha Henstridge... wait, I mean—doesn’t suffer from the campaign-breaking changes that plague the base game in its current form. It’s also worth noting that this is a standalone game that doesn’t require “Tiberium Wars” to play, nor does it demand knowledge of the base game’s storyline. While most players likely won’t skip “Tiberium Wars,” this expansion simply does many things better than its predecessor, ultimately tipping the scales toward a positive recommendation for me.

Before I say anything, this review is for both KW and TW. After buying the CC remastered collection, I decided to play both CC3 TW and CC3 KW because I never finished them. I must say, CC3 is now my favorite CC game, second being Generals ZH (I haven't tried anything before Generals yet). Both the TW and KW campaigns were good but after diving through the lore, I hate how they killed Anton Slavik off screen, felt like a massive waste of a decent character in the series but it is what it is.

TW has two pretty lengthy campaigns for GDI and Nod with a mini campaign for the Scrin once you complete the other two. I do recommend downloading the CnC Original Mod if you're trying the campaign for the first time because a certain patch updated the AI for skirmish mode but it makes the AI very hard to fight on certain campaign missions especially Sarajevo for the GDI campaign even on easy difficulty.

KW only has a Nod campaign that focuses on Nod before, during, and after the events of TW. It also expands every faction with new tech, units and new sub factions for GDI, Nod, and the Scrin. Subfactions for GDI are the Steel Talons, which is an experimental division that utilizes walker vehicles from Tiberium Sun, and ZOCOM which focuses heavily on using and implementing sonic technology. Nod's subfactions include the Black Hand, Kane's most loyal group who focuses on utilizing flame technology, and the Marked of Kane which implements cyborgs and some other experimental tech. Scrin's subfactions are Reaper-19, which focuses on using tiberium based weaponry, and Traveler-59 which focuses on mind control technology.

KW also includes the Global Conquest mode which is a bit different from RA3U's Commander Challenge and GZH's Generals challenge as you create bases, strike forces across the globe. The goal is to either destroy all enemy bases or complete your faction's alternative victory conditions. Personally, my biggest problem with it is that Nod can hide it's bases including the ones equipped with the Temple of Kane so they can strike your bases with nuclear missiles and you won't know where they are. Also Nod has a lot of forces that can be stealthed across the map so the AI will always attack you from nowhere. Don't get me wrong, GC is fun but sometimes the mechanics with GC can be absolutely irritating especially if both AI's decide to use their superweapons against one single base of yours, wiping it off the map instantly with nothing you can do.

Overall both TW and KW were a very good experience leaving a desire for more to come but EA ****** everything over with this franchise with 4 and it's mobile games so odds are we will never get a true CnC game again but while it's ******** with what EA did to this great franchise, we should be happy that we still got great CnC games before they culled the series.

great game idk what happened with the more recent c&c but kanes wrath 8/10 could have water maps/navy but what ever still a great game need more factions thats what made age of empire 2 still such great games!

So finally, after years of thinking about it, I played it :)
I knew this game is good, I heard that many times in the last decade, but somehow always postponed it for later ;p
And, surprising absolutely no-one, it is a great game indeed :D

Absolute peak of the classic C&C franchise. Squad-based units, captivating technology, dynamic aesthetic, it all comes together here. Even years later, the game looks and feels like it could have come out in the modern era.

greatest game of all time still a solid community and thats after 20 years that tells you everything you need to know. I grew up with this game despite only now being 18 all my family have played it so its just right :)

For me, and many other people, the campaign just runs too fast, but Skirmish mode allows you to change the game speed. Even playing only skirmish this game is worth playing.
