Помогите нашему отважному рыцарю выполнить приготовленные для него задания и вернуть ко двору непослушного работничка.Восстанавливайте мосты, стройте дома и другие полезные здания и прогоняйте с территории непрошенных гостей. Следите за количеством необходимых ресурсов и старайтесь вовремя завершить уровень, чтобы получить достойные награды. Чтобы справляться с работой быстро и качественно, нанимайте дополнительных рабочих. Только не забывайте их вовремя кормить.

New Yankee in King Arthur's Court 2 is a mobile app-like time management clicker. There's no gameplay, just clicking. The game is made to look like you're making interesting decisions, but really, you could write a script to randomly click the screen and given enough time, it would beat the game. Each stage has you clicking on various things to collect items/currencies which are then consumed by building stuff/removing obstacles, which unlocks more things to click on.
The game attempts to rip off Mark Twain's classic novel about a man out of his time, at least in title, but the game theme itself has nothing to do with Mark Twain's work, so that's another bust. This is just mobile app tier garbage.
From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard.
The game features simple, cartoony 2D graphics, of the type you normally expect to see in low effort mobile apps. 3D graphics programming does require a degree of skill and competence and unfortunately not all developers have the budget or talent to deliver this, despite 3D graphics cards hitting the mainstream in the 1990's. Considering this is being evaluated as a PC game, having the graphics phoned in like this isn't going to result in a high quality, visually impressive game that PC gamers are used to seeing.
The game only displays in 4:3 pillarboxed aspect ratio. It's possible they developed this using an old CRT they found in a dumpster, or this game has been specifically designed for people gaming on PC's from 1995... either way, this isn't really acceptable in the modern era of PC gaming.
The controls can't be customised because the game has such a dumbed down, simplified interface that it's just iPhone screen tapping stuff. The fact that the interface is this dumbed down might be seen as a problem in itself, however... this is a fairly shallow experience if you're the kind of gamer that likes to play games with deep, rich control schemes and interaction. You'll get none of that here.
This looks and feels like a mobile app, but it doesn't seem to have made it to the app stores. It's unclear why this was put on Steam instead of the app stores it seems to have been designed for. Maybe it was removed, maybe it was rejected by Apple and Google (they do have more rigorous quality standards than Valve does for Steam, after all).
Regardless, for all intents and purposes "New Yankee in King Arthur's Court 2" might as well be a mobile app, it has the same limitations and dumbed down qualities. It's impossible to recommend such a game to PC gamers. We don't spend all this money building gaming rigs so we can pretend they're iPhones and play games that might as well be mobile apps.
These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game.
The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 5 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 50,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected.
New Yankee in King Arthur's Court 2 has the farcical price of around $4 USD, it's not worth it given the defects and shortcomings with the product, especially considering the unethical nature of the developer. Remember that if you buy a game from an unethical developer, you're putting your money at risk.
You will probably enjoy this if you like this genre.

New Yankee 2 is a bit closer to a trial and error game than a traditional time manager, but that can be fun if you enjoy puzzle-like levels. It does its job well; it just doesn’t do anything else beyond that.
Long version:
One of the most defining elements of the first New Yankee game was its pace. Since we had many workers to gather food, wood, gold, and mana, there was not a moment of downtime on any level. This sequel tries to follow a similar vein but still attempts to tone down the speed somewhat.
The worker count is up to nine now, but we can only receive resources from production buildings when we assign a worker to them. Also, the levels are closer to little puzzles, where we must follow an intended order and timing to stand a chance beating the countdown clock.
As a result, we get a time manager that is both fast yet still methodical. Trial and error is a large part of playing New Yankee 2… although some may say that it is a too large part of the game. Those, however, who enjoy puzzle-ish time managers, will love this one.
As usual in this genre, there is barely any story; it is mostly pre-level banter among the many characters. Although I have to admit, seeing the big, burly protagonist cover in her from his wife has a few funny moments.
Its a small but very charming recource management game.
The two protagonists, a witch and a knight have funny conversations that always give you a small hint at the start of each level.They also help you to defend goblins and sucubus.
You are the one controlling the minions: mine, chop wood, collect water etc.. Each action costs time and sometimes other recources.
Its key to have good time and over all management skills. Some levels require extra tasks or bonus missions, but because you are only clicking to where everyone should go to, its not that much action or interaction involved.
Overall very cute and charming but rather slowish and a game to relax to.
New Yankee in King Arthur's Court 2 is a very simplistic time management game. It's pretty much the same as the previous New Yankee in King Arthur's Court, except it has frame rate issues. The speed boost animation is horrible, like a stuttering blurr. Very stupid design decision, it distracts from other tasks and is hard on the eyes. It's not fun! Don't buy!
Framerate issues in a game that looks like this are unacceptable.
The game play is fine for this sort of game.
The art is comical.
The Framerate is the deal breaker.
