Обрабатывайте, выравнивайте ландшафт, чтобы построить жилые дома, пастбища, сады, фермы, мельницы и многие другие здания. Занимайтесь собирательством и охотой в лесах, выращивайте культуры и разводите домашних животных для пропитания. При наступлении холодов обзаведитесь достаточным количеством дров и угля, а так же теплой одеждой, чтобы согреть ваших жителей, и помните: недостаток витаминов и однообразный рацион могут привести к болезням ваших жителей и даже к вымиранию всей деревни!
Вы можете обозревать свою деревню с высоты птичьего полета, либо можете управлять отдельным жителем с видом из глаз для ускорения работы, или же просто для исследования местности.
Ниже перечислены лишь некоторые из многих игровых особенностей:
- Продуманная система фермерства. Различные культуры и фруктовые деревья потребуют разное количество влажности, времени и усилий ваших жителей, прежде чем дадут богатый урожай. А домашних животных на пастбищах и в курятниках необходимо защищать от диких животных с помощью охотников.
- Переключайтесь между обзором с высоты птичьего полета и видом из глаз. Вы можете играть с видом с высоты птичьего полета, продумывая стратегию, развития и отдавая приказы, либо управлять отдельным жителем с видом из глаз, выполняя простые задачи.
- Терраформинг и дороги. Выравнивайте ландшафт, чтобы получить возможность строительства больших зданий. Стройте дороги для увеличения скорости передвижения ваших жителей, что приведет к улучшению экономики поселения.
- Болезни, рацион и витамины. Болезни быстрее распространяются в холодную погоду, особенно если ваши жители не имеют теплой одежды, либо их рацион питания скуден и наблюдается недостаток витаминов. Старайтесь запасать все виды пищи (мясо, рыба, хлеб, овощи и фрукты), чтобы сохранить здоровье жителей.
- Постоянно изменяющаяся экосистема. Частые походы жителей через лес будут отпугивать диких животных, в результате чего животные уйдут вглубь леса, осложняя охоту. Продолжительное и активное фермерство, вырубание лесов приведет к опустошению земель, что так же лишит вас многих видов ресурсов: мяса, шкур, грибов, ягод и медицинских растений.
- Изменение погоды в реальном времени, смена сезонов. Времена года влияют на ваших жителей: жаркое лето высушивает поля, заставляя фермеров часто увлажнять почву, а дождливые дни вынуждают их рыхлить землю и копать траншеи, чтобы осушить земли. Так же вам понадобятся дрова и теплая одежда, чтобы согреть жителей зимой.
- Настроение и увеличение численности населения. Старайтесь сделать ваших жителей счастливыми, и их семьи будут быстро расти. А жизнь в переполненных хостелах, в постоянном холоде и голоде, в условиях повышенной смертности очень быстро лишат их боевого духа, что приведет к падению их производительности.
- Бедствия. Молнии могут бить в дома, заставляя их загораться. Торнадо оставляют за собой след из разрушений. Налетчики разорят ваше поселение. Будьте готовы к тому, чтобы встретиться с этим и выстоять!
- Модостроительство. Наша игра спроектирована так, что легко может быть изменена с помощью модов. Моддеры имеют доступ ко многим игровым системам, среди которых ИИ, анимации, игровые задачи, менеджмент ресурсов, навигация, звуки и другие. Большинство из этих систем могут быть практически полностью изменены с помощью игровых скриптов, написанных на LUA.

fun to play was difficult to learn at first
This game is a city builder. It's very relaxing especially because of the music. The fact that you can pause the game but still see things in an emergency is really nice. And the fact that you can speed everything up to 10x is also really nice. Just remember that at higher speeds, people work faster, but they also get sick and die faster. There are a few mods that are really helpful to fix some small annoying things but otherwise. The game is really fun.
This game has an insufferable amount of micro.

I don't think anyone should buy this game.
A city builder based on an isolated community of only a few on a remote island. Has a well defined and interacting balance between housing population and food as you dance around the problems of manpower, tools, clothing and other rudimentary requirements for avoiding the reaper (plagues, fire, raids, rabies, famine, exposure etc).
This is the most enjoyable game I've ever played.
I feel like my taste in games is often different from what's evaluated on Steam, but this time around, I'm loving it.
While playing, I enjoyed being able to switch to first-person view and hunt or do other things. It was also great growing the village and experiencing new things.
Unfortunately, the game often freezes during gameplay, so I have to save periodically.
I've been playing without mods, but recently, I've added some new features, and it's improved the game significantly.
If a few more aspects of the game were improved, it could've been even better.

게임을 하는 동안, 1인칭 시점으로 전환해서 사냥이나 다른 일을 할 수 있는 것이 매우 좋았어요. 마을을 키우는 재미도 있어서 좋았습니다.
아쉬운 점은 게임을 하다가 멈춤 현상이 종종 일어납니다. 그래서 주기적으로 저장을 해야 해요.
모드 없이 게임을 하다가, 최근에는 이것저것 첨가해서 게임을 하니 더 새롭고 좋네요.
게임의 몇몇 점들이 조금 더 개선이 되었더라면 정말 좋은 게임이 되었을 것 같아요.
I really love this game! It was difficult when I first started, but after learning the mechanics, it became a lot easier. Thanks to the modding community, I was able to add things to my game that make it more difficult and add complexity. This game was designed to be easily modded, so I feel like it's really easy to adapt it to my play style.
Also, I love the music. Almost 300 hours in and I still love the original tracks : )
It's crashing so frequently. I don't think this game is supported anymore.
I bought this cause I played banished like 10 years ago and it was fun (although had similar issues, not just as big).
Can't recommend it at it's current state.
TLDR: Chunky/laggy graphics, poor AI leading to sudden unexpected almost total village loss repeatedly even with the severe micromanaging required, bug/error messages causing game progress loss/cannot save game.
This game had such great potential, with the achievements for such high village numbers etc.
Unfortunately, very chunky/laggy to play even from the start (comp specs well exceeds the recommended requirements), even when all settings turned as low as possible, the longer your play session the worse the lag gets. When eventually it does play, then you encounter error messages that stop you from being able to save (forums seem to say this is a known issue, only way to fix this is to loose your progress and reload the game). If you try to review your save games or load games, these will often have the wrong date/time/information until you re-launch the game.
Sadly, most of the time you are battling villagers being incapable of doing the tasks set (eg. builders will not build anything in 20 years when they have ample resources nearby) or controlling a character to do hunting because you will achieve more in 5 mins than 30 hunters in game-y areas can. Farming villagers need to be told when to harvest each crop (individually) because if left unattended, they will leave it way to late and you will get very little harvest (if any). Once you have micromanaged that into some sort of usable, you will then need to contend with having half ( or more) of your village population dying of hypothermia or starvation all within a min, even though there are large stockpiles of the required resources in the marketplaces servicing their housing areas.
I thought this game would be like Banished but with added fun/difficulty, sadly it lacks a lot of the quality of life aspects to make this play successfully.
