This is a love theme text adventure game.The background is set in modern China after reform and opening up.
This game demonstrates the love story in High School in China.
Although time is set in modern society of China,relationship of lovers between teenagers is still restricted.
However, what they will experience is even more than they expect.
An accident changed their life and broke their faith and promises.
Should they keep their faith or choose real love? The decision depends on your ‘heart'.
In this game, you will gain an experience to high school life in China and you will know the thinking of the young teenagers.

Story of a male student and its school life who eventually falls in love.
Many decisions to take, a couple of female characters who the protagonist has to choose from, and great good and bad endings.
Story is definitely far from generic and has quite a few very interesting twists. It is well written, with lots of ups and downs, with quite a few funny moments intersped with times of great sadness.
Lovely and well drawn artwork and CGs. My only issue with it is that the background NPCs are exaggerated a little too much and sometimes out of place, for the sake of comic effects.
Great music though could use a little more variety of soundtracks.
The main issue with the novel is its rather poor English translation. It is in general understandable, so if you do not understand it I still recommend getting it, though as someone who can understand spoken Chinese, there are many moments where context is lost to some degree.
Given the low price and the long and engaging story line, I do still think is great value besides its shortcomings.
Rating: 8/10 based on the English translation alone, 9/10 ignoring it.
Very good visual novel story is well written and I hope they can add english text to their other games like this.its amazing for one persons sacrifice in the game to bring happiness to her sister and twist and turns in the game make it brilliant when he does find the true existence of life well don sp porductuons.
What Good VN Game Basuclly Its Like The MC Chara Finds Girl he likes and tries to understand there Feelings And later falls in Love. There Twists And Turns That Follow and Good and bad endings you can get Depends on what Choice you choose. In all though it was good Game And very cute and relaxing one too Worth the Buy Id say.
I wanna hate myself for playing it, getting through all these bad translations for almost 30 hours to get completely irrational bad end. What the...?! This game MC Hangyi is some sort of moron playing with other people feelings, even if we have choices they are lacking control. I thought I've seen it all, I was wrong. Some choices were even blacked out, good luck guessing why they push you into traps. I can forgive cheap drama if I know that I am in the wrong. But here I was not...
So yeah there goes my blind playthrough which I wanted to play cool getting to know every character closer. The real shame of it all is that I feel soory for the heroines of this game. Hayjin, Fengxi, Fengyi they were all serious competitors for well written and enjoyable characters. It was hard to pick one when they all brought positive feels into my heart, despite bad translation.
I am really frustrated when good games are going all the way downhill, but I can't see it any other way than a wasted theme. True Love could've been a good slice of life filled with drama, if they could keep it together. This game though is a mess hardly making sense half of the time between dialogues and scenes. Even though story has some good feels and memorable moments! I feel betrayed in the end. All that keeps me around is reaching an end, that at least one of the heroines deserves.

The story is so beautiful, so touching, made me cry lots of times... Plus a well written and unpredictable plot, kept me making theories about what could have happened. Good soundtrack also. One of my favorite VNs.
*I AM NOT DONE WITH THE GAME YET.* I actually like this game so far, i really do, it's entertaining and have *some* pretty groovy music.
Its english traslation is a bit (let's be honest) very broken, but you can still understand it. (most of the time. It's like 1/100 you won't understand) some examples quotes here
1." she wave at me with smile
2." you eat a little bit little today
3." you need to look in heart
the grammar is completely gone! dead! Thanose snapped out of existence! etc.
Like you understand, its just a bit annoying to read somtimes.
Not every Sentence is broken, there are fine and correct ones.
I bought the game on sale for 5 euros-ish and i regreat nothing so far. So yeah i recommend this game, but only on sale. Don't pay full price, it's not worth that much money
Edit :okay so i've finished the game some time ago, and to be honest... It's a pass really! unless it's on sale, you could still go for it on sale.
I regard this visual novel as a masterpiece (I voted it 10/10 in vndb), which told me a moving story about True Love and made me tear up. Luckily I entered the Fengxi Good Ending at the first time I playing, which is the ending that I want to see. The plot is really excellent and I strongly recommend you to buy and play it. I think it is the best that the visual novels that I've ever played, such as Rewrite, Gaokao Love 100 Days, Yosuga no Sora and so on.
However, the only two disadvantages is that there are some mistakes on the English translation and there are some little bug when watching the videos in the game. As for the bug, the videos are shining. This can be solve by pressing Win+D for twice, which means showing deaktop and back to the game.
But this doesn't matter (if you can understand Chinglish like me), the plot of the game is really attractive and deeply shock my heart. This is the second anime/manga/visual novel that made me tear up (the first one is CLANNAD, when Ushio died). Therefore, please try the game!
A pleasant story with alot of feels and deep emotions. Good game overall but some english parts need to be improved. 10/10

This game really sucks, just like a piece of s.h.i.t, So save your money and don't buy it.
True Love ~Confide to the Maple~ fits the definition of bittersweet perfectly. Be prepared for an emotional rollercoaster and multiple unexpected plot twists. It has an original story, unique characters, incredible artwork, high quality voice acting, and a great soundtrack. This is the most engaging visual novel that I have experienced and is highly recommended to anyone interested in the genre.
I took me around 25 hours to reach the first ending, and about an additional 10 hours to get the other 4. There is a lot of content easily making the regular price a great value.
My current rating is 9/10 due to the poor translation quality. It is completely understandable, but there are a lot of spelling mistakes, names being switched, and some options are still in Chinese. It does take away from the experience at times, but everything else is so great that it is acceptable in my opinion. There is supposedly an update coming that will fix this, and I will update this review accordingly.
The only thing that can improve is the english subs... i mean, you spelled true love wrongly in the first 10 seconds of the prologue :( hope it can improve... overall a decent game
I'll say this upfront: the English translation is horrendous. Spelling and grammatical errors aside, there are a lot of awkwardly worded phrases (i.e. "You cheated me!" should mean "You tricked me!"), incorrect gender pronoun uses, inconsistent phrasing (Haiyin's catch phrase is translated differently almost every time she says it), and mix ups between Hengyi/Fengyi/Fengxi's names. You will likely need to read sentences multiple times to infer the intended meaning. The overall quality is reminiscent of using a text hooker and dictionary software to auto translate your visual novel.
Now, if you can get overlook the flawed translation, the result is a wild roller coaster of emotions and plot twists and turns that will keep you hooked. You will constantly question the motives of everyone and everything that is happening around you, and just when you think you had things figured out, the game pulls a fast one on you and stabs you cruelly in the heart while opening another can of worms.
The visuals are beautiful and humorous where appropriate, and though a lot of the sound effects are unfitting or weirdly used, the music captures the mood well, and the voice actors do a fantastic job at conveying emotion, alleviating the awkwardness of the translation.
This visual novel is long...VERY long. Honestly, the developer could have shortened a few scenes and cut out some fluff. However, it is very thorough in making sure there are no plot holes or unanswered questions (assuming you see all the good endings), leaving a good feeling in your heart.
True Love ～Confide to the Maple～ has a compelling story and the art looks pretty good. Voice acting was ok but has worst sound effects from all the VNs that I've read/played. It features a few good soundtracks that were used seldomly in the game.
The only thing that would convince people not to recommend is the quality of English translation. I can't read Chinese so I'll put reading the other 4 endings on hold until they update the translation. This has the worst translation from all the VNs that I've read. It is flooded with grammatical errors and typographical errors, worst is that they even jumbled it with the character's names that has little difference with spelling i.e. Hengyi, Fengyi, Fengxi. There were a lot of times I had to figure things out myself using the context because of their translation mistakes. I won't delve deeper with the translations because even with though there are sentences that don't have errors most of these lines just don't flow naturally.
The plot twists kept me at odds with choosing between the two heroines which helped me put up with bad translation for over 20 hours just to finish one route (no more options were presented when I finally made up my mind); content/length wise it is worth the price. I really thought I'd have a bad end for my first playthrough, that said I didn't really know how my in-game choices affected the game's outcome.
I'm recommending this game if you can read Chinese and just hold off until they update the translation if you want to read it with english subtitles. I'm not recommending against this game because I still hope the studio gets enough budget to release a decent english translation.

Get a different game if you're looking for a visual novel game because this is the worst translation I've ever seen.

这个游戏深深地打动了我，当我在7月，也就是这款游戏还没有在steam发售的时候，我在当地漫展上见到了游戏的负责人，小仆。他告诉我这款游戏以后要登陆steam平台，可能是因为想要喜+1s的原因，我购买了这款游戏。不得不说，主题曲响起的时候，我感到这款游戏给我一种不舒服的体验，但是我仍然玩了下去。因为我当时想看看国产galgame的制作水平。于是我在某天凌晨落下了眼泪，小仆你过来我保证不打死你，你还我枫怡！曾经sptime官方微博说过死女主骗眼泪是三流手法，然而他们就这么用了。游戏的前期挖坑和渲染，和秘密被解开的时候我真是感动的一塌糊涂。对于结局的看法我感觉没什么奇怪的，听涛GE EXCITED（划掉）。至于选择，我是海音党。我希望的是那种虚无飘渺的感觉。至于sptime，我只想说，小仆你不在dlc里还我枫怡，我就......congsider it by your imagine
the story is very saddening to read.even i chinese it feels like clannad 2.0 and i though chinese have no skills in making VN maybe i was wrong. i am only 7 hours into reading this VN and it already give me a strong feeling. this VN is long so will take some time to read. even though it is set in china and the artstyle is really like the one show in trailer.but too bad it is in chinese only. the story is well made and you will need a box of tissue or 2 to wipe off your tears. Besides clannad and tomoyo after, or planetarian from KEY, this is a must have VN if you know how to read chinese. and anyway nice ingame soundtrack though. i do hope the dev can translate to english ver so a wider audience can really enjoy the game.

Just want to point out that this indie group(?) is famous in China for making the murder mystery "The Revenge of Snow"（雪之本境）series,It's almost funny that despite they made a love story this time ,many of us still keep having a feeling like"This guy is going to be murdered ,that person looks like the murderer"while reading through the story
Please be noted that this game does NOT have an English version for now(I heard it's going to be released at the end of this year, around Christmas maybe?),be awared of it if you want to buy this
