Im simple man, i buy it because i like catgirl... And the story is good

By definition this isn't a game. It's more like an animated comic strip. I feel that this product being listed under games is misleading and should be sold as a simple animated manga. Also the rating is unfair. Nothing about anything I've seen would be considered 'Hentai'. While some of the conversation does discuss having sex the manga shows nothing inappropriate and aside from a few incestual comments from one or two characters the conversations are obscure enough to not be out of place. I don't think this is an animated manga appropriate for children, but I don't think it's engaging enough for adults. In all fairness I regret purchasing this.

I have been traumatised. I genuinely can't bring myself to relive any of that. It was just so... Horrifying. The first 4 chapters were nice but from the end of 5 onwards, I just wanted to bleach my eyeballs. This is borderline, I don't even want to say it, so I won't.

There comes a time in every man's life when he needs to look in the mirror and ask himself how exactly he got to that place.
You have to truly reflect on the decisions you have made along the path that led you to the place of your final reckoning.

It's still not clear, even to me, why I bought this game.
There's nothing wrong with it, with those nudity scenes it's perfectly stellar. But when you look at it as a choice, you realize how damaged I and the rest of humanity are.

What prompted me to buy a game like this? What part of my soul felt so empty that I thought a virtual girl could fill it?
When I look into the infinite depths of my own loneliness, I see a pool of reflection. My face is not there, there is no face. There are only tears in that puddle, tears of shame, loss and confusion.

If it were up to me again, I know I would buy it in a heartbeat, I know I would load it up and skip the countless window prompts so I could get a single bite of the pornographic images that are available online.
However, despite the abundance of naked virtual women waiting in the digital sphere, I chose to purchase this game and dedicate hours of my life to it. That time will never return to me, it is lost just like my soul and like time I fear never to find it again.

There is something broken inside me, something that desires sensations beyond my reach, something that moans every night knowing that there is no real princess, it is simply an illusion.
In my quest to find meaning in this long life, I searched for the colorful lights and sounds of a world that only exists in a pop-up window on my computer.

I'm not sure what the moral of this review is, I'm not sure of my place within the universe, all I know is that no amount of virtual girls can cure the big rot that has plagued me

Love this game and the ability to play the full version is amazing, thank you all so much, nekopara is my all time favorite collection, just wish you could make choices but regardless it is perfect.

I DIDN'T KNOW THIS WAS A HENTAI! But that didn't matter as the full game is apparently locked behind DLC. (According to the negative reviews.) It had like maybe 2 kind of nudity scenes, but nothing was showing. Bless my eyes!

I didn't know anything about Nekopara when putting it into my wishlist. I saw the cute character designs and that it was a visual novel. Was blind to the tags. My husband bought me all the Nekoparas on a huge sale. Wish I played and discovered how I felt sooner so my husband could have gotten his money back. I'm sorry, Kenu!

Now I know this game is not targeted towards me with it being a hentai. I'm not going to review the game for it's NSFW.

The Problems:
1. The story is very bland and dialogue wasn't that interesting.
2. Listed as a visual novel, but has no dialogue options.
3. The catgirls literally act like cats in a human body. Could be a hentai thing, but I don't feel the need to f**k my cat.
4. Voice acting was cringe when they tried to act like cats.
5. The lore of the catgirls being pets, but can also be lovers is disgusting. Basically you are owning someone and for pleasure while they also happen to be your pet (bonus point: they can't get pregnant either to add to the fantasy).
6. It seems like they were trying to go for an innocence approach for Chocola and Vanilla (the main catgirls), but they come off as acting like 8 year olds. I believe they are still underage even in cat years.
7. The MC viewing Chocola and Vanilla as daughters and helped raised them, but still has sex with them. Even thinking that after sex too! Pedo behavior.
8. When Chocola goes into heat, Vanilla pressures the MC to have sex with her. Even saying that catgirls can get ill if not satisfied during this time.
9. Little sister lusts hard after the MC. And letting the MC get frisky with her pets.
10. Why is having sex with your pet a normal and okay thing in this world?

Good things about this product:
1. Character designs are great. Especially the contrasting colors for Chocola and Vanilla for being twins.
2. Voicing acting was good when they were not speaking like cringey cats.
3. Backgrounds are very polished and nice to look at.
4. Dialogue is very easy to read. (But still uninteresting.)
5. The art is gorgeous and probably the best selling point.

My god this game is SO SLOW WHAT THE HELL MAN I JUST WANNA SEX THE CATS not READ CRAPPY DIALOGUE FOR 6 HOURS, YES 6 GODDAMN HOURS to get a SUB-PAR sex scene. Total trash, would rather blow my brains out than play this again.

I bought this game thinking it was going to be really good because of the reviews. What I didn't know is that this is actually not a game. You'll just have to click and click to follow the story and that's it, nothing else to do. I respect others opinions about how great this game is, but this just isn't for everyone.

Where to start, without the dlc, it is wholesome, funny and emotional at the same time from start to end, with dlc things go wild but vanilla flavour mix to it. Man what a feast to my eyes seeing vol 1.

-the split into multiple volume means entering your settings every volume and CGs are split between different games as well as paying for each volume including the three different paywalls to the H scenes
-each volume is short enough to be read in one sitting
-cant romance the sister

There's really not much to say about this. It was a good time reading it but there were no decisions basically making the save menu useless. This makes it feel like a shit manga with voice acting and awkward character animations. This game is pure moe trash which i love but if i'm paying for moe trash i want more out of it like in other visual novels with branching story lines or like in the neptunia series where you get a full game and moe trash. If i wanted to read and look at cute anime girls i would read manga (for free).

Worst of all there is no romancing the little sister and no little sister H scene. This is the offence that caused me to write this review.
