I did not like this game. As a platform game, its gameplay and controls are just plain bad and the graphics are whatever.
This is a puzzle platformer where you don’t get to control the main character. Instead, you play as a wisp that the main character follows around. This makes the timing harder, but that’s the main conceit of the game.
It is short, you can complete it in under 2 hours, but that also means it doesn’t overstay its welcome. It’s challenging in parts, but it never really got frustrating.
Add in a cool aesthetic and it is worth picking up.
I reserve writing reviews to when something is mind blowingly good or bad. There's a glitch that makes your character jump up the entire screen and fall to her death immediately. There's the music that is so repetitive that it will drive you insane. and there's the fact that they tried to do something unique with the controls but it just turned it so god awful. certainly do not waste your money or time on this title and go play inside, limbo, or even the very indie, very short "seen".
Although it's a short game that you could play in one sitting, it's full of puzzles and eerie game play. The way you control the character takes a little bit to get used to but once you get a handle on that, the game is pretty smooth sailing. The puzzles aren't too difficult to figure out but sometimes actually being able to execute the moves to solve them are a little tricky. Overall, the story was quite unsettling and the game play was enjoyable!
This game gets a 5.5/10 from me, so just barely positive, more like a "Muh" then a real recommendation. I almost quit playing after the first couple of levels, but fortunately the level design continues to pick right until the end. The last few levels and especially finale is the best part of the game.

- Clunky controls, the idea is nice but execution could be improved upon.
- The game is too short. Not only are you finished before you know it, you literally speed through the levels and cant even properly admire the artwork.
[*]There are not that many logic puzzles, it is basically activating switches for the most part.
I would definitively wait for a sale before picking it up.
Just finished the game in one sitting, took me just over 2 hours.
The art is great, and it's got a wonderfully creepy vibe to it. Much like the game Limbo, everything is out to get you, so making your way through the levels require some trial and error as you figure out how to overcome the obstacles.
On the bad side, I feel that there's a lack of story, and the controls feel quite "floaty" (I played with a controller and adjusted the sensitivity throughout the game, but even at its best, it was lacking).
It's a little longer than it needs to be, but the levels manage to at least throw in a few new things every now and then to keep it fresh. Also, the little shoutouts to Super Mario and Neverending Story are appreciated.
I'd recommend playing this if you have a few hours to spare, but if I had to give it a score, it wouldn't be more than 7/10.
Was a great game at first. However, the cursor no longer appears in game. I tried reintalling the game but the bug is still there. I only got to play an hour so the price I payed was not worth it.
While the idea is interesting and different, I cannot recommend this game. The mechanic that the AI has to "figure" out what the player is trying can do can be _extremely_ frustrating at times. Think of Tricco from The Last Guardian if you've played that. The story is kind of not there and seems kind of random just for the sake of having puzzles. Which I guess could be the point given I think she's supposed to be dreaming... But the game keeps it open to some awkward interpretation that you have no real basis to interpret anything on.
One thing I can say for sure: The music was pretty good in the game and the nods to other games and movies from my childhood was pretty rad :)

Beautiful artwork, the character of Selma is aordable and the control system is a good attempt at a different way to control a character, however in some puzzles this does prove to be a little clunky. Nevertheless an entertaining faily short little platform puzzler.
A fun little puzzle game to pass the time. Pretty short, but entertaining nonetheless.
The last level is the best part, btw.
Summer Update: Liked that one level more when you were able to control Selma directly. Anyway, didn't see that ending coming. Last level is still the best part.
NOTE: If you are using a Nvidia card (720m here), on Linux (Fedora 26 / openSUSE Tumbleweed here), the game will only show a black screen at launch. To fix this, go to your library, right click the game -> properties -> set lauch options -> write "-force-opengl" (without the "). That should fix it
Enjoyed the game and the atmosphere. Quite short, but that's fine for a casual game like this one, given the price. Kept me going for a few evenings.
Controls are too finicky in several areas where you're trying for 20 mins to beat a small section of a level. I gave up trying. Yes its supposed to be hard but I progressed about 80% of the way through the game and just decided the continued frustration was not worth my time anymore.
This game tries to take you on a horror filled ride through the mind of a little girl but it seems to have missed the mark. There is barely a story here with little to no emotional attachment to Selma. The controls feel sluggish and not at all what one expects when controlling a wisp. Selma also seems slow to respond in relation to the wisp. You will die many times, which is, I think, what they intended? A mouse seems to work better than a controller. There is potential here and with some work this could be a fun little game rather than a frustrating disappointment.
This game would have been great if you weren't always on a timer. That kinda ruined it for me. The greatest strength is the artwork which looks amazing but I barely got to look at it since I was always in a rush to leave the area as soon as possible before time was up. The only other complaint would be the puzzles were a bit bland (nothing new, typical puzzler obstacles).
This was a very enjoyable way to spend a couple of hours. Great atmosphere, and some of the puzzle solutions made me grin with pleasure. Very nice, reccommended.
Now the prospect of "nightmare mode" beckons - the chance to speedrun the game without dying more than 3 times? That'll keep me busy for a while.
This is a wonderful game, it reminds me a little of limbo but not so much I would compare it. the graphics are adorably spooky and the game itself runs fantistically. the puzzles are tricky but not impossible. all in all a fun way to spend an evening
It was my first puzzle game and I'm not dissapointed. There was many deaths but most of them was quite funny. The music and graphics creates great atmosphere.The puzzles are not too dificult and the end was quite surprising. Unfortunately, the game it's too short, so I'm looking forward to more ;)
Interesting direction in terms of game controls. Pretty graphics and non-invasive music make up a nice atmosphere. Puzzles are intuitive and sometimes moderately challenging. Would love to see an extended version!
What is the biggest selling point for this game?
As some may question the aesthetics, as its a matter of taste you can't deny the weight of the atmosphere brought to you by the great music and sounds.
As this kind of gameplay is not my personal top, I was brought by the music in the trailer, and was not disappointed. The overall game mechanics connected with the wisp are refreshing and fun to use.
If you are looking for casual gameplay but with great atmosphere of creepyness this is your game.
This game is timed. You don't have a chance to think and explore properly as you are on a timer. The fact that you can save oftenly doesn't take away the timed game play. A huge disappointment. I wish Steam lets you know that you're buying timed, quick response games. I wish I had my money back for this game.
