Comentario Analítico: "IN-VERT: Definitive Edition"
IN-VERT es un plataformero minimalista de desplazamiento lateral destacable por la simpleza de sus poquísimas mecánicas y por cuán desafiante llega a ser, entrando en ese sector de juegos independientes propensos a elevar tu ritmo cardíaco.
La mayoría de escenarios están bien planteados, pero luego hay otros tantos en los que nos vemos forzados a reiniciar, ya sea porque una caja quedó mal posicionada (y matarnos no la regresa a su posición inicial) o porque un check-point nos dejó en una posición poco favorable. Su mayor punto en contra son los jefes. Son muy sencillos en la teoría y completamente injustos en la práctica.
Es cómodo de jugar, inmediato y los controles responden correctamente. También viene acompañado de la edición clásica, pero a esa no la jugué así que me ahorro comentarios.
¿En conclusión? Tiene mucho estilo, es una pena que sea tan desconocido.
Hit exactly the half-way point of the game, and I don't really feel like finishing it. Based on what my patience was enough for... here's my notes:
-It sure is challenging, though fair(ish).
-Level-design: a mixed bag.
-Boss-design: bad.
-Controls: not very good.
-Graphics: functional, and not much more.
-Music: decent and minimalistic with a bit of thump, but DO NOT BOOT THE GAME FIRST THE FIRST TIME WITH YOUR HEADPHONES ON!!!
-SFX: I think there may have been some... not quite sure due to the hopefully temporary tinnitus.
Invert? More like exvert my fist into the screen.
I got this game via a coupon a while back, and for the price I payed it ain't that bad.
The concept is good, the music is pretty solid, and the amount of mechanics is just right.
My only gripe with this game is that a few of the later stages have questionable level design, but that's pretty much it.
Overall, a pretty decent game.
The game is very fun!!! The switching mechanics are satisfying and new ideas are introduced in a way I understand. The difficulty level is always rising but never so bad I get frustrated.
I just wish i could remap the keybinds. Playing on a QWERTZ keyboard, the X to switch and Z to jump is giving me cramps.
