Wolfpack - это реалистичный кооперативный морской симулятор, в котором экипажу из игроков предстоит занять боевые посты на детально воссозданной немецкой субмарине времён Второй мировой войны. Управляя одной или сразу несколькими подлодками типа VII, игроки вступят в борьбу с транспортными конвоями, идущими под защитой эсминцев, корветов и сторожевых кораблей. Состав и маршрут конвоев генерируются случайным образом, и задача команды – перехватить их, атаковать и уйти незамеченными.Каждый человек имеет свою роль на подводной лодке, и успех задания зависит в первую очередь от налаженного сотрудничества. В отличие от других симуляторов, Wolfpack делает большой акцент на работе с системами подлодки и непосредственном взаимодействии с вентилями, рычагами и судовыми инструментами.
Каждой лодкой могут управлять до пяти человек: капитан, рулевой, вахтенный офицер, радист и навигатор.
В ведении радиста находятся гидрофон, радиопередатчик и радиопеленгатор, а также шифровальная машина "Энигма". Рулевой устанавливает направление и скорость хода и рассчитывает данные для торпедной атаки. Вахтенный офицер управляет погружением при помощи рулей глубины и балластных цистерн, ведёт наблюдение с мостика и при необходимости занимает палубное или зенитное орудия. Навигатор определяет положение лодки и прокладывает наилучший курс для перехвата вражеского конвоя. Капитан же командует всем экипажем.
Всё оборудование и инструменты скрупулёзно воссозданы по аутентичным фотографиям и описаниям, и близки к своему реальному функционалу настолько, насколько это возможно без ущерба для игрового процесса. В игре полноценно смоделированы счётно-решающий механизм, ручная навигация и справочник-определитель кораблей.

its a hard but fun sim , me and my friends have had a blast on this
no pause feature, means unless you complete each mission in a single throw its all wasted gameplay. apart from that the little playtime i did have was exactly what i was looking for in terms of a submarine simulator.
And the idea of five players per vessel, and a max of five vessels in the game at the same time means this really is a competitor for submarine fans.
sadly without the ability to pause the singleplayer action (which is actually just playing alone in a multiplayer server) this game is not for those like myself that need this function.
this is what the recommendation is purely based upon and what a shame.
hopefully it gets developer attention, and i would repurchase instantly.

This is a unique simulator in that you can play with other players as fellow crew members.
Really fun and highly detailed, If your looking for a realistic sub operation experience this is it. Only wish there were more people that played you'll be lucky to find public server with the 40 players a day this game gets.
literally THE submarine game of all time
Awesome simulator but, really!, we need time compression. At least time compression for single player and multiplayer when all players are in same submarine.
Wolfpack is a quite ambitious mini project of a small team dedicated to a hardcore submarine simulation. Due to the team size, the progress is unfortunately not too fast, however the playstyle is quite immersive and challenging. Definitely one-of-a-kind to explore in coop-mode with a few friends!

Y esto mejorará con las actualizaciones previstas para el simulador que lo harán excepcional. Una compra obligada a los aficionados a los subsims y a todos los amantes de los juegos de guerra.
Not many multiplayer lobbies sadly, but get your friends to play it with you and it is awesome. Hope for more updates eventually.
Game looks good and has some cool features but at the end of the day it lacks substance and ends up getting stale pretty fast. I understand its a Early access but like every "early access" game is stays that way for years with limited updates.
managed to sink one boat after 10 hours and got blown up by the British

Game too expensive for what it is.
Better buy game "Uboat" if you want to play submarines. Dev of wolfpack is super slow, very unreliable and can't communicate.
I had good fun with it but for this price ($35) i wouldn't buy it. It's value is, after 5 years in EA about $15 to $20 - and you need two friends with the game too.

Absolutely love this! However would request the developers to add lightly animated npcs (sleeping in the bunks, cooking, sitting in bunk, tinkering machines etc.). It'll enhance the immersion and atmosphere. A boat with only 4/5 crews seems outlandish!

A deep dive into the mechanics of a German U-Boat. If you are willing to study the functions of a submarine and capable of working in a team for at least a 3-4hrs per Feindfahrt, then you are in for a joyride.

Do you like U-boats? Do you like simulations? Then this is the sim for you! It's got something for everyone that enjoys this type of sim. Wanna be the captain and set firing solutions? Wanna be the diving officer operating the dive planes and the ballast tanks? Wanna be the chief engineer running the diesels and electric motors, or machinist assisting in these things? Sonarman listening for contacts? IT'S ALL HERE!!!

great game, u can play single player by yourself or with AI crew or multi player with up to a 4 sub wolfpack with 7 player on each sub.. NOW THATS FUN
This game is absolutely not ready to play yet. Has lots of potential, but I'd be surprised to see this game actually live up to it in the next 5 years. The way these developers have been working on this game is slower than my dell computer in 2006.
Love this game super realistic, greatest thing is having a full crew of other players working together
Wolfpack feels like dating someone who has a really annoying kid. You really want it to work out and you honestly think they're smart, but they're also incredibly annoying and frustrating to work with. I kept trying and trying to find the sweet spot to make this work, but it just made me want to smash my head in.
Coming into the game brand new, it's entirely reading a manual and feels much like starting a board game night and no one knew the rules. Just wait till you bust out the calculator as part of the setup. Nothing is more of a buzzkill than mentioning "calculus" at a house party.
That said, if you know how to calculate the 1/16th's hectometre distancing to the targets, then maybe you'd love this! Just make sure you can find others to join you because the available lobbies were no more than 2 anytime I looked.
Where I want the game to feel like a machine and coordinate with your team to delegate orders, feel well organised, and accomplish your missions, it's actually more like waiting for that one person struggling over your groups math homework before you can collectively turn it into teacher.
Spent 1 hour with my buddy trying to hit a boat only to miss 6 shots and get sunk by a escort.
Note: its not like UBOAT play the tutorial.
