10/10 love the realistic physics

Perfect for a vr game to learn to play table tennis!! It never gets old. The devs made an amazing job for the physics and overall the game all these years.
Used to be incredible before the switch to focus on Meta's side. As a Steam user, your money is not valued by this developer; you are a second-rate customer to them.
nice game
Great game, very realistic. One of the best example of what VR can achieve
DO NOT STREAM/LINK THIS GAME TO AN OCULUS HEADSET
As a Steam fanboy who's owned this game on Steam for many years, the difference between playing this natively on a Meta headset from the Quest store versus linking it through Steam is literally huge.
I went from constantly failing serves and struggling to beat silver AI to easily beating it without even noticing when playing through the Quest app instead.
There is a 15min demo in the quest store. Try it yourself.
The game itself is great and the main reason I bought my new VR Headset.
That's a paddlin'
Fun spins work pretty well
Bunch of good at ping pong tryhards that are better than me in Silver. I am back to Bronze 10/10 will continue playing.
As in real life
The best table tennis VR game hands down with a minor issues.
My first problem is it's priority for oculus and Meta, which is evident with things like delayed updates for the steam/PCVR edition of the game.
My other problem is one many have vocalized and it's the AI. Don't get me wrong, the AI is very impressive but the biggest issue it has that is unrealistic is making mistakes. The agent can make mistakes but it never, EVER seems to make them when your ball is not going to land on their side of the table. The agent always knows when the ping pong ball will not hit their table and decide not to attempt to hit it like some would in real life. I would tolerate this behavior with the higher difficulty levels of the AI opponent but there is something about your opponent knowing your shot will or will not land instantly the second you hit the ball with your paddle that frustrates me. I'd rather not know whether my ball would have landed or not once in a while you know?
Lastly, the price. I find the price to be...questionable. I won't say the developer hasn't put any effort into the game at all, which is of course not true considering how well this game does play and feel, but thirty dollars is fairly steep for a game only about table-tennis in VR. The game definitely aimed for quality and realism which I applaud, but when you have other games offering much more than this game has to offer at lower prices, I would not be surprised when consumers see this game and are surprised by it being $30 USD and sales rarely occurring anymore (evident on isthereanydeal.com).
Despite these being my biggest problems, it's a good game for those who love tabble-tennis (like myself) that don't already own a ping pong table, let alone have someone to play against regularly. You get what you pay for and that's a high quality VR table-tennis game that aims to bring a solid ping pong experience for those of any skill level.
By far the best competitive VR game on the market. I have been playing since 2016/17 and it has only gotten better. When the Dev recommended purchasing on the Quest store, rather than Steam, I didn't really see the point. The performance on Steam was just fine. But after my Link cable started to cut out because of my kid using my headset, I had to make the move. I had no idea just HOW MUCH better it was. It is flawless on the Quest, don't get me wrong, the Steam version is fantastic on its own, but if you want a truly flawless experience, that is the way to go. This game should be in everyones library.
