six hours spent on troubleshooting.
not a single of those hours was actually playing.
the FFB doesn't work and uninstalling GHub kills the FFB for every other game, and didn't even work lmao
just buy LMU
Bought on sale.... still got a refund. The game comes with zero content. Literally. You're paying for a menu to buy in-game items, that are way overpriced. AND the menu sucks. Just buy Assetto Corsa Ultimate edition on sale and believe me it will be a better experience than this garbage
Check my hours played. This sim and a couple of others on Steam are great if you like old race cars on old race tracks. Open wheelers. BTCC, lots of fantastic free mods. Most are in the Steam workshop. Force feed back is great.
The game does take a while to load. Setting up an online race from home is not user friendly. Graphics a little dated.
When the menus and controller setup refuse to work forcing multiple restarts to the point where with 40 mins of playtime i was only just able to start a multiplayer practice where the automatic shifting(yes, i'm a racing game noob) doesnt work, You know there is some serious issues present. Although with Motorsport Games involved, i dont know why i expected anything of quality.
yes very fun way better than inotracing and cheaper with mods so you dont need to spend 1k on cars and tracks also ai and handaling is way better than inotracing
Arguably the best sim. The quality of the mods varies a lot, however. Try to find good mods (tracks and cars) and you'll have a great time. The good car mods have some of the best physics ever. Works nice in VR too.
I bought the game on a massive discount, thinking there's not much to lose. What a steal.! First it took a whole day to get my G923 wheel to work. Turns out, all you have to do is uninstall the 2025 Ghub and install the 2024 drivers. Go in and tweak your FFB and it works great! I even got my clutch and shifter to work. Then go back and download all the content from within the game. I have Test Drive Lemans, ACC, played AC, and this game is the best simulator imo. It is a beast! Hopefully when Test Drive Le Mans is fully fleshed out it will exceed this game. But for right now, this game exceeds all others I've played. The tire modeling omg I understand the praise. And the sheer number of cars, tracks, series you get is excellent. The graphics are a bit dated of course. But the cars feel like mechanical beasts and the AI is great. Can't wait to go online! If you are hesitating, don't! Just grab the game and get it working later. You won't regret it.
I prefer Le Mans ultimate not been blow away by this game and you have to buy a lot of dlcs
1/10
Game constantly freezes and I only got it to run for 15 minutes before it stopped working entirely. The 3 hour runtime on the game was just from black screens (couldn’t close the game), and updates that also didn’t work.
If it works better later, maybe I’ll get it again, otherwise, pass.
Finally something like real racing without the buy buy buy pay to play. And the satisfaction of deleting some games. I used to say i was new to racing games !
rFactor 2 was recommended by an Ai chat after i asked about racing from first person cockpit camera view.
This game is absolutely amazing, thanks for the experience guys. 10/10
I wish all the car/racing games content was in this game too with rFactor 2 graphics.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=os558D4sW2w
it keeps crashing and lots of different problems happen like it going when i'm not pressing the throttle and it not turning when i am and the screens keep switching positions and it turns only one screen working then it squashes everything together
even though this game is mostly a crash grab through dLC's it makes up for it through the top notch simulator and workshop and i recoumend the only car you get is the kart and the rest is from the workshop
The AI are cancerous to race against. They can hit your car and spin you out, push you off the track, slow your wheels down (open wheel), yet have 0 effect on their car. Turn 1 at Montreal I get shoved into the grass or spun out 9/10 and the AI all just speed around me and keep going without being slowed down. Reminds me of Forza, they can pit maneuver you, but you can't pit maneuver them. Other than that it seems to be a fun game physics/racing wise.
The business model of the game is super scummy however. A $40 game with a majority of the cars/tracks locked behind a paywall. The only way to actually enjoy the game is to go to the workshop and download mods that the community had to make. Seems really lazy to rely on your community to make the content while you provide an engine/base game, and charge $40 for it.
Buy LMU, RF2 has no road feel, every track is like driving on super smooth surfaces / no decent ffb from the feel of the road.
cant get FFB to work, Moza R3
The game does not include any cars or tracks to play the game.
it very good (very hard on controller)
dogshit game my autistic cat could design it better
Terrible game...oh where to begin...
Roblox has better games, let's just put it that way.
Best sim ever. Right setup simulation. Best tire model
It is a very enjoyable game that is loads of fun
it is good
Was great fun untill suddenly force feedback stopped working
I haven't been able to drive a single lap. After month's of trying, I gave up. There is n o way I've been able to get the FFB working at all. It either locks my wheel to a hard left or right. Or not a single force transmitted at all.
it is realistic and great crashing
dont waste your time on this and go get acc or iracing
I didn't pay a lot for it since it was on a discount, but you're basically buying just the engine here, and all the cars and tracks are in payable DLCs.
Needless to say, I don't like this sort of business model, so this gets a "thumbs down" from me, regardless how good of a sim it is.
I ran Microsoft Compatibility wizard in early 2025, and problems gone.
An amazing experience in VR with a FF wheel.
Very immersive and runs well.
The visuals hold up even to this day and the modding keeps it going.
A nice tech demo buried under a big pile of s**t
ACC is much better, don't play this
it very good
Game doesn't launch, why sell when functionality is not assured.
Steering control without a wheel is so retarded, and yeah the "physics" is the worst I've seen in a sim racing game
Really quality sim racing game. I was skeptical thinking it was a sim-cade type game but it is very high quality graphics, physics and loads of active online servers to join. Not to mention there is a ton of no-cost mods for it. Would recommend it to anyone wanting a high level racing sim game.
If you can get it on sale, totally recommend it. While the game is no longer supported by the dev, and there is lots of DLC, there are also lots of great mods on the community workshop, and this is one of the best sims I've played.
Completely broken. People should be refunded because of these greedy idiots.
What a piece of scheet game!!. Had it for over 3 years on my steam library, never been able to play it because it would crash before the race loaded. I installed it again today and it finally worked!!! yay: but no FFB on my g29. Tried online guides and wasted over 2h trying to fix this :poop: of a game but it was just a waste of my precious Ducking time. Devs already left this game long ago for LeHomo game. RUN AWAY FROM THIS GAME
When I bought this game a while back, I didn't know how it worked, and I asked for a refund. I decided to buy it again, and at first I hated it. After I learned how to mess with the graphics, the controls, the gameplay, and how to upload all the free cars and tracks, I REALLY started liking this game. It just sucks having to go through all of that to enjoy the game. The game is set up in a hardcore type of setting. Once I found where I can enjoy the game and be challenged, I started looking forward to playing it. I can upload my settings if anybody wants to see them.
had it a long time ago
works even better on ny new hardware
Could be made by a 10year old .... And probably IS !
its too fun

buy another sim game this was a waste of money
most content locked behind paywall, even basic circuits like Monza and Spa.
its not that good but not that bad either. i cant feel any ffb (maybe its my wheel idk) the ui is okay
game good
seems like a really good simulator but force feedback just doesn't work at all with the g29, I've tried everything I can think of with zero success.
Great fun and an excellent quality driving sim. Graphics are about as good as Assetto Corsa but the driving experience is much better.
Definitely worth buying but only when it's on sale. DLC is crazy expensive but also with so many great mods there's not that much reason to actually buy the DLC unless there's a specific car or track you want.
Based on other reviews it does seem like you need at least a mid-tier gaming PC for it to run well. It also runs really well with controller if you're willing to do a bit of tinkering.
