Whenever you die it restarts, which wouldn't be a problem if it didn't plaster a big yellow headache-inducing banner for "OSVR" locked right in your face for 7 seconds. If this were the only problem I could just remember to close my eyes every time I die (ugh) but the game itself is horrible, mainly there are no explanations for a lot of the things in game. When upgrades come on the screen they are instantly collected so I don't know what they have done for me, and there is a sphere in the center that does something? Not worth even the sale price.
Do you have what it takes to pilot a drone through waves of enemies? Collect power-ups to take on increasingly difficult levels and bosses! Check out the full review here:

I just recieved my Vive but already have fun with Chamber 19. It is simple with grapics only okay but the game is fun overall. The waves can sometimes repeat but is no problem because there are always more. In all, this is a fun game and I hope others can enjoy it.
I love it! Nothing really to remark on, it's close to perfection for me.
Great music and graphics and a lot of fun to play!
Looks like I am going to be putting a lot of hours into this game , sure it needs a few fixes and I know I could write a review for a few more of my games that have a lot more hours in them, but this one is one of my Fav's.
First off the patchs and fixes they keep making and adding to the game from input from the players is great! very good work there I did have a few things to say : I wish the ships main gun blaster had trails Edit.. ment "projectiles" efecit to it (for some reason it just feels like the shots - projectiles from the main gun would not reach its targets).
Hope they do something with that, adding option colors for weapons would be neat.
But I have to say this game offers a lot and more then I had thought it would when i went to buy it.
After reading other remarks and videos about this game I could tell I was going to like it, and the fact that its not done being made yet makes this a great game!!
It simply didn't cpature what was fun about Xortex for me and now that Xortex has an infintie wave mode the asking price seems a bit steep given Xortex is far more polished and free. This does have a bunch of features Xortex doesn't but they dont do much to make it more fun IMO.
I thought this would just be a worse version of Xortex but I am really into it! If you like Xortex I would definitely recommend this one.
Chamber 19 is an excellent bullet hell vr shooter.
You fight increasingly difficult waves of enemies with a ship you hold in your hand, exactly like Xortex. The game introduces new enemies at an acceptable pace, giving you time to get better throughout a single playthrough.
There are a few different power ups, some that spawn when enemies are killed and a choice of 4 powerful upgrades after defeating a boss.
I like the second drone upgrade, allowed me to score #4 on the global leaderboards.
Missile upgrade kind of sucks, I find the missiles loop too much and your stuck unable to fire at targets right in your face. I would prefer rapid fire micro-missiles over the current giant mess that they are. It's very distracting.
The bosses are good, however I feel the first and second bosses are far more difficult then the next 2. Not sure how to beat wave 30 though, that thing scared me.
I like the new options recently added, the 180 mode is a far superior experience.
Just a note that I got major slowdown around wave 27-29 with a GTX 1080, so definitely some optimization is needed.
Overall I recommend this game to anyone who liked Xortex.
Not worth 15 EUR! Nice concept of the game, powerups, different enemies, even multiplayer! But still it is quite simple game, not much work for the developers compared to other games with similar price.
Yes, the concept and many mechanics are borrowed liberally from Xortex, but this expands on it to make it a more replayable game
Chamber 19 encourages moving around your playspace to a greater extent than does Xortex. There's a good variety of different enemy types, and the waves can get quite challenging.
Xortex seems like a tech demo/minigame, while Chamber 19 feels like fairly well-rounded casual game.
Price may be a bit steep, and the graphics aren't quite to the level of Xortex, but still worth it for the amount of fun to be had jumping in for a random game.
Highly recommended if you enjoyed Xortex or bullet-hell games in general.
bad graphics, gets boring quick
a lot like the arcade spaceship game in "THE LAB"
thats why i bought it, but it looks notably worse and is much less fun too
in the end i went back to playing the arcade spaceship game in "THE LAB" and stopped playing this...
so for me this was a waste of money
Updated graphics and multiplayer addition make this game great now! Amazing dev! Thumbs up!
This is asking way too high a price for a game that feels inferior to Xortex which is free. 3 or 4€ would be a fair price for what this game actually offers.
Just because it\'s like Xortex, that does not mean it\'s as good. Wait until either this developer (it is still in Early Access) or another comes out with something as polished as Valve\'s offering.
Woah! This is GREAT! Only made it to wave 6 at normal difficulty and I\'m sweating like a pig LOL
Good music, good graphics, nice interface and menus, awesome gameplay!
I hate bullet hell games BTW, and I thought that would be a lot like it but nope! This is GREAT!
Only thing I don\'t quite like is that stuff too often spawn in your back? Maybe tweak it a little so it does happen but not as frequently?
Oh, and more 8 bit music please :-)
The game is fun, but very unfinished. The room that is played in needs a graphical update badly. It was updated recently, but I unfortunately think it got worse. Now, a large controller and instructions for how to pause the game stay up in the room (about as large as the player) the entire time! That really needs to disappear while playing. I don't want to see a huge controller and instructions while i'm playing. If the game gets a graphical update that fixes these problems, I'll update my review. For now, I've changed my mind and I don't recommend the game in this state.
Great game. Gets very intense as it progresses. A lot more going on than the lab version. You need a bit of roomscale as you need to move around a bit. Alot of fun and a good challenge.
Pretty good little game but you will need to detangle your cord every 5 rounds which is alot.
this game makes me feel like a kid again playing with a toy jet flying around the house imagining to blow stuff up
Liked Xortex in the Lab? You'll love this.
It's still got a few rough spots due to the Early Access nature, but it's completely worth the money. A bigger room with more variety of enemies, power ups like homing rockets and a second drone already have me hooked.
About the only bad thing so far is you need a spotter to tell you to start spinning the other way since you'll get tangled up moving so much.
Excellent work and I can't wait to see what else they've got planned.
I've only played for a few minutes, because I have house duties to attend to, but man! it's very intense of how much you have to dodge and move to stay alive. It resembles the game from the lab, and lab has better graphics "just a slight better", but the wow factor is there too. I also love how it saves the waves for you. Great game to show your friends!
