Gal-X-E aims to revive the old-school shoot em up genre, and adds modern elements to it! Fight your way through endless waves of randomly generated madness! Collect spaceships and show the enemy who's boss!

Gal-X-E offers unique and interesting gameplay. Unlike traditional modern games where players can upgrade themselves until their power level reaches "Over 9000!", Gal-X-E relies on the actual skill of the player. Even though Gal-X-E offers new spaceships to be built, they only provide minimal improvement. All classes are completely unique in the way that they play, so try to find the one that suits you the most! Players are thrown into an arena where they fight of hordes of never-ending enemies. Kill enemies and collect score multipliers to gain incredible amounts of points!

Gal-X-E presents the player with 24 different spaceships, divided into 6 unique classes as follows:
Light: High agility, as well as a rapid fire-rate with low accuracy.
Medium: Normal firing rate, higher damage, and slower speeds.
Heavy: Low fire rate, high damage, and good accuracy. It's almost a portable cannon.
Shotgun: Capable of dealing devastating damage, though you'll have to get uncomfortably close to maximize the effect.
Sniper: These bad boys are 100% accurate, and deal one shot one kill hits. You'll have no excuse for missing this time!
Chaingun: The most inaccurate, yet highest damage class! It's basically spray and pray for noobs.

Every enemy in Gal-X-E provides an unique challenge to overcome, but we won't go about spoiling your fun by telling you what to expect.

Currently only English is supported, but the interface is self explanatory so that anyone from any language can enjoy it!

The main game consists of randomly generated waves of enemies, meaning that not one play through will be the same! The longer you survive, the more intense the waves become!
The Hangar is where you can open loot boxes in the hopes of finding a brand new, shiny spaceship!
The Badges screen is where you can view your current badges and your progress on those you still need to earn. Badges are basically achievements but with CRAZY challenges!
The Stats screen allow you to be disappointed in your life when you see how much of your life you've wasted on this game.

Good shooter with good music
This simple game inspire me became a game developer.

very simple premise but very good at it. The music selection was very repetitive though
It's alright. There are better game doing very similar stuff out there, but this is still a dedently well-made game. It look clean, plays well enough, and it's cheap.
I'm giving it a weak-ish recommendation. 6/10

TLDR: Flash Game Grade. Not bad for this caliber. No Xbox360 pad support.
Music was good but did not always mesh thematically with the game. Effects for lasers were nicely done. Sprites for ships were okay. Progression is grindy, GRIND for XP AND COIN AND SLOT MACHINE. *ugh* There are no power ups or anything, just different ship types for the progression, you have to buy in game crates and get new ships as random spawns. The difficulty ramps up gradually ensuring that a large slice of people with different skills can have a chance to try the gameplay. Game difficulty overall is fairly casual especially once you have a ship that complements your playstyle. Always the same map, music had only a few tracks. About half a dozen type of ennemies, zig zag ships, missing saucers so on. After about 1 minute of gameplay it is always the same thing with gradually more foes spammed on top. No way to make the screen accept modern resolutions. This falls short of being worth keeping permanently in library, between the shallow content, grindy unlocks and technical shortcomings but it was not all that far from it.
This is a great game. Easy to learn hard to master. I guess you could call it a twin stick shmup, but it really just feels so fluid with m&k that's how you should play it.
Excellent soundtrack, speaking of which, can I have it in my library please? I suck too much to get to hear the songs!

A great Asteroid like game with many ships with different play styles to unlock. I definitely recommend,
-No options menu. Seriously?
-No way to change the resolution.
-Same songs play over and over.
-When you exit, it still seems like the game is running, so you have to close Steam, which is the first time I come across something like that.
To sum it up, the cute gameplay doesn't make up for all the features the game lacks. Not recommended.
Fun time-passing game but the getting of new ships is too slow. To gain enough experience points takes too long but overall is a fun game. Can't change resolution either

Real fun and challenging to play. My only complaint is no pause button available. Other than that. it's pretty solid.
There are many different types of evil in the world. This game is a very special kind of evil.
This game is pretty awesome in my opinion, some things could've been done better. Like screen resolution, some upgrades and stuff.
But overall this game is really enjoyable if you're bored, its challenging, short and fun to play.

A pretty basic and yet fun game to play would recommend for how cheap it is.
Although some improvements can be made like specifying what the different rarities of spaceships actually do
I have changed my mind about this being a dull game. After the last update which has greatly improve many issues one being the fact the ships manovourability seemed sluggish and slow has now improve and fixed that issue which now makes the game so so much fun which makes me happy.
And one major major issue was when i was spending in game currency on ships only to keep getting the same ships has been fixed in a way which has satisifyed me and im guessing many others having the same issue, as now if we get the same ship unlock we get a 50% cash back which to me feels better then not getting any return for actually grinding so hard just to keep getting the same ship with no positive outcome.
So all in all this is a good game which is still getting better or might not but currently i would play this game for many many more hours to come i need to complete good games like this.

Very good game for the price point. Great for relaxing (the music is quite good) or while waiting for a queue time in another game.
So this game doesn't mess around. It can get pretty frustrating at times... but all in all it is a good time killer that will keep up hooked until you finally give up......... or smash your keyboard because of stupid mistakes you make. hahaha.
Rubbish game. It's a massive grind. Keeps taking you back to the main menu each time you die. Ships are boring, bland and pretty much all the same. Music is often really out of place and just a bit weird. It reminds me of some student projects I saw at university. The developers should be ashamed of trying to bring something so mediocre to market when there are much better, similar themed alternatives (see Reassembly). Have requested a refund.
Gal-X-E is a space shooter that looks to bring back some arcade nostalgia. Does it do it well? Yeah! The game frequently reminds me of other space shooters from the 80s.
PROS:
-Controls are smooth and work well.
-Nice graphics.
-Gameplay is fun.
-Works with Windows 10 and doesn't have any kind of lag.
-Nice backgrounds.
CONS
-Akward full screen, but it still works.
-Lots of grinding when it comes down to it, but you can have fun while you grind.
-Royalty free, fidget spinner unboxing music.
FINAL SCORE
7/10 (Pick this game up if it's on sale!)
I appreciate all the trouble NodziGames went to to make a fun game like this!
