Fun short puzzle game, was nostalgic for me, as I played the web version when I was younger.
this is such a simple game but its just executed really damn well. makes me feel like a monkey the way the shapes and colours on my screen enthrall me. also the chiptune soundtrack is lovely
very nostalgic, would recommend this if you played the original on kongregate like I did.
Fun little puzzle game, however, it needs more levels, and more difficult levels. Enjoyable for what it is.
short fun puzzle game about lining up perspectives on things
comfy music too
I played a free version of this some time ago and went looking for it a few years later. I still come back every once in a while to do the randomly generated puzzles and listen to the music. The puzzles are unique enough that you can forget the solution after a little while and still have a decent challenge picking the game back up a few months later.
I may not have many hours on the Steam version writing this, but I've played both the web version as well as the mobile version before it was taken down many, many hours during my teenage years. The general vibe of simian.interface is incredibly charming and surreal. The limited lore also lets your imagination run trying to put together what the experiment is really about. The soundtrack is the biggest part of this game for me, however. The gameplay can get repetitive for most quite easily and early on, but I experience a lot of joy and happiness just by playing infinite loop and listening to the music. Note! has some really good tracks, you should definitely google them and give em a listen. Overall, a albeit small but wonderful game that will sit in your Steam library quite comfortably.
Fun little abstract-thinking puzzle game with pretty colours and awesome music. Used to be a free flash game; the updated Steam release doesn't really have any new features. Just an Endless mode and an options menu.
For just $2, it's hard to go wrong. That said, it only took me 20 minutes to get all the achievements. (though I did already know the game. One hour or so is probably a more reasonable estimate for most first-timers.) It's definitely a small game that will likely leave you wanting more, but what's here is good.
I think it's worth the time and money.
Weird... In a good way. Puzzles and music were enjoyable. Overall too simple. Worth the price though.
I played the flash version of this game a long time ago and really enjoyed this one. It extends the flash version with more content, so you really should check it out. The graphics and the music are what make this game so special.
Satisfying, intuitive abstract spatial awareness puzzle. Music is good. The noises when you win pleases my primate brain. Endless mode is fun to zone out to.
Good but very short puzzle game. Simple concept, trippy visuals, good music. Easy to complete, but it honestly wouldn't have been more fun if it was harder. There is an endless mode if you're looking for more, but it didn't appeal to me much. Good pickup for cheap if you can appreciate a short and sweet game. I can see myself replaying it some time in the future.
Runs flawlessly on Linux through Steamplay.
It's a glitchno pastiche of monkeyshines and truly bananas puzzles. For $2 you could spend you hour a lot worse.
simian.interface++ is a series of interesting puzzles, although nearly all of them require little logic-brain-power and are more driven by trial and error. The game has heart, I'll give it that. This is also a nice little title to get 100% of the achievements, and meanwhile you won't feel disgusted at yourself for paying for achievements because you mildly enjoyed a quirky indie game.
Essentially, all the puzzles are solved by manipulating the mouse to align objects. The puzzles are short. Unfortunately the best puzzles really only show up in the final optional secret level. That should have been the tutorial level for a more beefy puzzle game.
Pros:
+Cheap, and has that indie heart
+Puzzles are interesting, but require little-to-no thought
+Music is fun
+Nice title to get 100% of achievements
+Infinite mode is a nice addition, but still, the flaw is actually with the puzzles and not so much the overall length
Cons:
-Too short and puzzles are too easy
Not a bad title at all, but left me wanting more 'puzzle'.
This game is perfect, just what I wanted.
Something I can show ANYBODY and have a good time (Or rage) laughing and watching their faces, even my mom. Infinite Loop is great! I'm not even sure how that could be programmed.
Perfect time waster for such a low price!
I played it on kongregate, so when I saw that it came out with extra stuff on Steam, I was excited. But it's the same thing with an endless mode and a timed mode tacked on. Should have realized as much since it's only $2. I'd rather leave this review without a thumb up or down, but since I have no choice, I will say this. The main game is fun. There are patterns that got a chuckle out of me and those cat messages were both endearing and just slightly omnious at the same time. But the "cat vest" puzzles that are so cute and charming in the primary game are perplexing and annoying in endless mode.
Very calming. Satisfying in a way I can't really describe. Glad I got it for the infinite mode and to support the devs.
I'm not sure why but this game is strangely pleasant.
Cheap, relaxing, and really really nice replay value.
Simian.interface++ is a great game. It kinda messes with your mind while trying to desenvolve your tridimensional perception. Easy, but fun nonetheless.
Awesome game to laugh for watching your nephew striving to pass simple puzzles. ^^
If you are into Casual and Infinite Loop modes, That's a great game indeed. :)
A really nice little puzzle game, I smiled all the way through. There was a lot of bewilderment at first but I found that the puzzles suddenly became understandable about half a second before I solved them. Each solved puzzle gives the mental satisfaction of a tricky motor skill achievement.
If I could change anything about it, I would mute some of the colours. it's a brightly coloured game in places, but I am playing before bedtime so I'm just geared to want something a ltttle less loud visually at this moment.
Cute jokes and a clever game. I have only played the linear mode and still have the infinite loop to try. It performed well above my expectations for such a small price and deserves a play.
This game experience experiment is well worth your time and money. I wrote a review that you can read if you want, but here's the skinny:

Overall: Get the game. It's well worth the change.
