In Shoot Shoot Mega Pack you and up to three friends can duke it out head-to-head in any of four 2D shooters, each one focusing on its own core mechanic! Push each other into walls that expand with every shot in zoom, thrust and shoot together in sync, avoid a barrage of black holes in void, or carefully try to find your invisible friends before they find you in fade!
For the tinkerers out there, mix and match rules however you want in custom mode! Try 'em once or mark them as your faves and come back to them whenever you want! Finding all these options too overwhelming? Don't worry, we've got you covered! Take a load off and let the party gods choose for you in party mode or take your chances with an endless stream of randomly generated rulesets in chaos mode!

A hidden gem in my opinion great local multiplayer fun.
A fun, casual multiplayer game. Great for families or parties. Even my youngest kids enjoy playing with the rest of us. Also, the developer was super cool and responsive when we came across a late-game crash bug. This game's totally worth the price if you enjoy low-key local MP games.
Remember getting together with people in the same room instead of across a wire?
Deceptively simple with a minimalistic look that will have you excitedly yelling, sitting on the edge of your seat and laughing at each other - the lost art of socializing brought back in the form of a really great, chaotic, crazy good time of a game!
Loads of fun!
A superbly fun local multiplayer shooter!
Lots of different modes and rules to keep things fresh and exciting.
If you have friends you should be playing this with them!
I first played SSMP at PAX-East a year ago, and I loved it then. This game is the perfect combination of unpredictability, interdependence, and sudden turnaround that you want in a party game. While I never get tired of winning, it's impossible to dominate, and that's what I really want out of a game like this. It's simple, it's smart, and it's very forgiving to the non-gamer who wants to participate.
I've played this game a bunch of multiple PAXs and am super glad it's finally out. We've all had a ton of fun playing it. In a time when couch multiplayer games seem to be going by the wayside it's super nice to have a fun game that you can play with your friends that's simple and short enough that anyone can jump in whenever and override that problem where you can't figure out what to play but complex enough that it doesn't get old. I would highly recommend it. Plus, the music is really nice!
This is a super fun game that's easy to learn, feels light and whimsical on the surface, but the more you play, the more you realize that the game has serious depth and replayability. The sheer number level and game mechanic permutations is awesome and makes every round feel fresh and different. The controls are slick, excellent game feel, and the art and sound design are great too.
Round up some friends, grab some controllers, and I guarantee you're going to have some good fun.
I've played this game prior to release at a game showcase and it's the kind of game that you want to
First: have a half finished (or second) beer in your hand and then
Second: have to put that beer down because you're about to get heated and find out which of your friends you hate
We're in a age of a lot of great indie local multiplayer games and this one is a really solid successor to the Deceptively Simple And Chaotic lineage. Great for parties and making kids cry
Love it!
One of the best local multiplayer games on Steam.
Perfect for a party, small gathering or just hanging out. Whatever the setting you'll be shouting at your friends in no time. The gameplay is addicting and really easy to jump into. The art is the perfect mix of minimalism and bouncy tweens. And the music is worthy of a OST release.
It may seem like another local multiplayer shooter, but the most suprising thing about SSMP is it's shear depth. Rules and arenas can be combined in multiple different ways offering hours of unique gameplay. You can find what you like best and set up your own house rules, or simply fire through a set of procedurally generated gamemodes. Whatever way you play, you're sure to have a good time.
If you like local multiplayer, this game deserves your attention.
Full disclosure: I'm friends with the creator and I'm actually a character in this game, so I'm a bit biased.
That said, this is a good game. I don't love local co-op games as a rule, with only a few being regularly revisited, but SSMP is a lot of fun. The competition and tension runs high during gameplay but easily dissipates as you roll into the next match. It's a solid party game and worthwhile as an addition to anybody's multiplayer/party game collection. A lot of time was spent on the polish and player feedback, and it shows. Highly recommend.
Super slick animations, really wonderful music/sound design, great funny writing + tone... I like everything about this. So far only had a chance to play with 2 people, but I'm looking forward to busting it out for 4. >:)
VOID IS THE BEST MODE
This game is great fun when you have friends over for local multiplayer! Lots of different rule combinations and random maps make it a great party game. Very easy to play. Highly recommended!
