Amazing little puzzle game. So creative and fun.

Great way to spend a lazy afternoon (or evening). Love the aesthetics of the game and the puzzles feature a good range from simple to decently complex. The theme of the game limits those puzzles to a degree, but I'm no sure they could have done much more with it being primarily a 2d "platformer-puzzler". Also the entire setup for the end puzzle was a REAL treat, and nice way for the designers to wrap up the game. If you like puzzles, it pretty safe to say you'll enjoy this game.

A little short for the price, and a bit straightforwards for most of its runtime (don't expect to find yourself stuck often), but it's still a very fun little game with some brilliant presentation and some fun surprises towards the end.

I have to be honest, I actually pirated this game at first. Then I immediately realised how amazing it is and bought it as soon as I finished it. I don't even like puzzle games, but this one is something else, and I cannot recommend it enough. Please give it a try even if you think it isn't for you, it was one of my best experiences with a game like this!

Very nice game.
I started to play with a controller but making connections between boards was a frustrating experience. I definitely recommend to play with mouse and keyboard.

On the easier side of puzzle games, it succedes in being a nice and short experience...the final puzzle is very cool. However, I would have loved to see the main mechanics explored more in depth, in my opinion there is a lot of unexplored potential

After playing the game, I realize that it COULD be worth $20 for 3-4 hours of gameplay
- purely because its so polished and unique -
but I never would've purchased this at full price myself.

If I were buying it again, I would feel at ease spending ~$10.

Absolutely stunning game with fantastically crafted puzzles and progression. The only problem is the price for the playtime; I find it hard to recommend a three hour game to others at a $20 cost. I don't remember if I got this on sale or not, but I would hope the developers cut the price now and again for others' sake.

Fun puzzle game with good art-style

It was really fun and unique to play. It wasn't too difficult if you think outside the box in this puzzle game.

Amazingly immersive puzzle game, but certain portion feels way too short compared to the rest.

Very interesting mechanics, if not overly difficult. I beat it in apparently 3.6 hours. It was quite a pleasant 3 hours. About the same amount I'd pay for the movie if I wanted popcorn and a soda too.

If you're looking for very curious and interesting puzzle logic using the puzzle board itself as a mechanic, and a myriad of ways that can be played with, you'll enjoy it. If you're looking for a long, deep game... this isn't it, and I can't see there being much replay. There's only a few "Hrrrrrmmmmm....." puzzles that really tease it out of you, and those are mostly at the end.

Background graphics /are/ stunning, but honestly, I just whizzed past them to get to the next puzzle. They're pleasant to see for the few moments I saw them go by.

I recommend it if you're looking for a 1-evening game that'll stretch you a bit with them trying something mechanically different. If it was dragged out, it'd honestly overstay its welcome. The last bit could have been played with some more, as the final series of levels was relatively quick with what they could have done with it, and the depth of mechanical play they'd done in the earlier series of levels as you learned each mechanic. All in all though, a tight, pleasant puzzle game.

The first thing that struck me was the artistic direction. We're not talking about ultra-realistic or technically impressive graphics in the traditional sense, but about a visual style that feels genuinely unique—something I personally had never seen before. The stunning harmony between the flat, two-dimensional surfaces and the rich, three-dimensional backgrounds creates a surprisingly immersive effect. These seemingly out-of-place panels blend seamlessly with their surroundings, helping shape a world that feels coherent and alive. It’s a type of visual beauty that doesn’t scream for attention, but earns it through subtlety and elegance.

Beyond the style, what truly sets The Pedestrian apart from other puzzle games is its originality. The concept of shifting, connecting, and rearranging sign panels to create logical pathways is brilliant—and introduces a completely fresh way of thinking about space and puzzle mechanics. As the game progresses, it becomes clear that it doesn’t rely on gimmicks to impress: each level is a compact mechanical challenge, waiting to be deciphered with logic and patience. And the moment of realization, when a solution finally clicks after a few failed attempts, is one of the most satisfying feelings a puzzle game can offer.

Difficulty is one of the game’s strongest suits. It’s never too easy, but it’s never unfair either. The challenge builds naturally, and the further you go, the more it demands from your observation and reasoning skills. I often found myself spending tens of minutes on a single level, yet never felt frustrated. Quite the opposite—it was that need to pause, to rethink, and to try a new approach that made overcoming each obstacle so rewarding. The fact that I never had to consult a guide or external help speaks volumes about how well-balanced and intelligently designed the game is.

Thanks to this gradual difficulty curve, The Pedestrian offers an experience that, while relatively compact, can easily stretch over five to ten hours, depending on the player's pace and problem-solving approach. And it's time well spent, as each minute carries a sense of progression and discovery.

The only small note I would add concerns the audio. I appreciated the stylistic choice to let the surrounding environment—rainfall, traffic, ambient city noise—form the background soundtrack. It adds to the immersion and fits well with the game’s minimalistic atmosphere. That said, I would have enjoyed a stronger musical presence during gameplay itself. Music appears mainly during transitions between puzzles, but is mostly absent during the core gameplay segments. While this choice has its logic, a more consistent musical accompaniment could have added emotional depth and made the experience even more complete.

In the end, The Pedestrian is not just a great puzzle game—it’s proof that innovation can still come from simple, clever ideas. It’s a beautifully designed and thoughtfully crafted experience, unlike anything I’ve played before. Intelligent, elegant, and quietly brilliant—I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fresh and rewarding challenge.

10/10 a perfect platforming puzzle game

This is purely a platforming puzzle game as in you have to figure out the right paths and correct order of actions to solve each puzzle area. The puzzles gradually become harder as you progress and new mechanics are introduced throughout the game

By the end you are using all the mechanics used throughout the game added on with an amazing twist I was not expecting that I won't spoil for you

Overall it took me about 6 hours to finish this with my daughter. I think if I was doing it alone it probably would have taken me 4 hours to complete. There are no hidden collectibles to find and most puzzles seem to have just one solution though I may have inadvertently cheesed some of the puzzles with unintended solutions

The puzzles themselves are a very innovative approach to platforming puzzles with some mechanics I've not seen before in platforming puzzle games. Some were quite easy while others were quite the brain teaser, obviously it will depend from person to person how challenging you will find this game and how good you are with out of the box thinking

What really sets this game apart from other puzzle games is that not only does it have such a great art style but the graphics are very high quality and the animation and movement is very smooth

If you prefer puzzle games with actual puzzles like The Room or Machinarium then this is not a game for you. But if you enjoy platforming puzzle games like Portal, Braid, etc then this will be right up your alley

I will say the platforming doesn't require a great deal of mechanic skills or reaction speed but fortunately for the most part the game makes it so you don't need to do stuff fast

One thing the game doesn't actually explain is that when you change the connections between the puzzle pieces if you just hold it before moving it or removing it, it will flash everything that will be reset without resetting it. As long as you hold the connection it won't reset on you so you don't need to feel pressured to move the connection quickly

Overall a very fun and enjoyable 4 to 8 hour experience depending on your speed at solving the puzzles. Very enjoyable, very unique and very creative game

One of the few unique puzzle game that I've played which are actually fun enough and need some brainstorming for solving it. Not too hard either just need to always pay attention to the interaction between every single item with the puzzle map.

Additionally, it also introduce different puzzle mechanics for every single different stages which I still find it engaging to play even at the last part (transition from 2D to actual 3D puzzle solving).

Genuinely fun and satisfying puzzle game that takes place across street signs. Every new gameplay element was an absolute joy.

At first i was really doubtful about this whole concept of the puzzle game. For 90% of the game you are playing your box standard 2D puzzle game with puzzles that sometimes require you to stop and think for few minutes to think. There is story in it, but i have not figured out whats about and might be better to not know in general. After like 2 hours of this "puzzle-platforming" puzzles i was considering quitting at 3/4 of the game but then final section completely blew me away just like Superliminal and Viewfinder did for their first levels. For final section alone i can whole heartily recommend this game i wished it was bit longer to see it how it would interact with all other mechanics, but unfortunately it ended there.
If any of devs are reading this, just pls give few more levels that are like that final section i would be happy.

A really immersive puzzle-platformer that will keep you entertained with stunning background visuals and cohesive incorporation of your surroundings and the puzzles.

The puzzles in this game aren't very difficult, none of them will have you sit there for longer than a couple of minutes to figure them out. Where this game really shines is in using the environment around you to immerse you into the world of the Pedestrian. The mechanics are novel and the platforming is smooth for the most part.

Very fun yet unfortunately short puzzle game. I hope to see some DLC added but won't hold my breath!

The concept of the puzzles in this are very creative, although they became to convoluted for me to figure out without help very quickly. The presentation is fantastic, and the new mechanics they added throughout kept it fresh.
If you like puzzle games, especially with a platformer element, this is a good option.

The Pedestrian is a puzzle platformer told through street signs and other diagrams. The majority of the gameplay has someone in the physical world rearranging the signs and redrawing connections so that the moving figure in the virtual world can find their way from place to place. The gameplay takes some nice and strange turns at the end.

There are a number of puzzle platformers that deal with rearranging rooms. I think, of those I have seen, this has been the best at finding an understandable metaphor/explanation and consistently sticking with it.

I beat the game without touching most of the optional puzzles, mainly because I didn't notice how to get to them. Considering how hard they seem to be, and that the main reward from them tend to be cosmetic hats, I'm glad they're not needed for a full Steam Achievements run.

an absolute must play

A relaxing puzzle game that seems basic at first, but quickly increases in difficulty by introducing new mechanics that will surely test your problem solving skills. The background and surrounding scenery at each stage is different, but smoothly flows together with the use of the camera moving from puzzle to puzzle. I got stuck at several stages, and had to stop for a moment to clear my mind, before attempting again. Not too easy, but challenging enough to make you use your brain.

I completed the story in 4 hours, so it might be a short experience, but the use of problem solving and logic in a beautiful environment is something making the game worth playing again.

What amazing game and wish the last part of the game lasted longer.

The Pedestrian is an absolutely fantastic puzzle platformer with some absolutely gorgeous background elements. All of the new mechanics introduced throughout the game are done in such a way where you learn how everything works without the game explicitly telling you, which works in this game's favor, considering there's no dialogue. Figuring it all out for yourself is insanely satisfying, especially once it all clicks
My only real complaint is how short the game is in comparison to the price. This game only took me about 3ish hours to beat fully. For the record I am good at puzzle games and only struggled a little bit, though my point stands. If you're interested in this game I would wait for it to go on sale and pick it up then

Really good little puzzle game, I like the design. The Visuals are good. I only have one complaint, I have an ultrawide monitor and I couldn't make the game fit my screen and ended up with black bars. This wasnt an issue for most of the game but the final couple of puzzles (you'll know when you get there) made me so fucking motion sick that I had to get a guide and finish the game cause there was no way I could focus lol. Other than that 7/10 good game.

Very unique puzzle game. Starts easy but gets challenging fast

It's a nice puzzle platformer, but what makes me want to play it is the environment in which it happens.

If you want to know if you should get this game, you totally should. It is a phenomenal game with an extremely unique style, fun puzzles that make you think but aren't exceedingly difficult, and a jaw dropping ending to boot! I was only truly stumped 2-3 times, and its on the shorter side of game lengths, but the quality of the game more than made up for it. I will not forget this game any time soon and will definitely recommend it to friends.

Fun little puzzle game, I got it for under €5 and feel like that was a good price for it, the art style is well done, the puzzles get challenging and they keep adding new things throughout most of the game so it keeps you on your feet on how to solve things.
I did have a minor bug where none of the achievements popped during my first session (might be because it continued from where the demo ended causing some glitch) but replaying the sections worked as intended. On that note, this game has no replay value, if you know the puzzle you will blast through it as there are no alternative solutions or paths.

For €5 and under I can only recommend this game, if it's above that I will say just wait for a sale.

If you are after a well polished. brain teaser of a platform game you come to the right place. Definitely can take some thought to get through some of the levels but its nicely balanced.

Recommended though the price point is a little high for the length of the game. I got the game on sale well worth the $8 I Spent

inexcusable to release a game in this age WITHOUT A WAY TO MUTE THE MUSIC. on the minimum volume the music is still too loud and if i mute it i cant hear anything else in the game. atrocious.

Interesting puzzle game, with unique gameplay. I thought it was just a 2D puzzle game with the theme of trying to find a way out, when I got to the middle of the game, I didn't expect that the background of the 2D game was 3D with very cool graphics, at first glance it looked realistic. And when I finished the game, it turned out that from the beginning to the end of doing the puzzle was a story, it was very unexpected. It's amazing.

Game was fun. Some of the puzzles were fun, and others were less fun (side quest part grabs can be a bit dull after the first 2 times). I was hoping for some really out of the box mechanics besides the ones in game, but the ones in the game were done very well. Music was a vibe. For the ending, I'd have to reflect more on what is happening. It felt a little out of left field to me, but I can look for other interpretations in the meantime. Overall, a fun game to get whenever it goes on sale.

Gets boring real fast. You start off easy, simple puzzles. Then it turns into 30 minute long brain sessions for one puzzle. Not for me.

Incredibly fun and unique puzzle game with a great artstyle and soundtrack. The game is made extremely well and does a good job of being challenging, but not overly difficult. It's fun to see how the different pieces interact and evolve as you learn them, and the ending is really great.

I'll definitely be following the developers' future projects.
