Game was fun. Some of the puzzles were fun, and others were less fun (side quest part grabs can be a bit dull after the first 2 times). I was hoping for some really out of the box mechanics besides the ones in game, but the ones in the game were done very well. Music was a vibe. For the ending, I'd have to reflect more on what is happening. It felt a little out of left field to me, but I can look for other interpretations in the meantime. Overall, a fun game to get whenever it goes on sale.
Gets boring real fast. You start off easy, simple puzzles. Then it turns into 30 minute long brain sessions for one puzzle. Not for me.
conceptually this game is really nice but i think the end puzzles were too hard for my pea brain :( would still recommend to anyone who really likes puzzle games!!
Incredibly fun and unique puzzle game with a great artstyle and soundtrack. The game is made extremely well and does a good job of being challenging, but not overly difficult. It's fun to see how the different pieces interact and evolve as you learn them, and the ending is really great.
I'll definitely be following the developers' future projects.
Can't take the elevators
A perfect puzzle platformer, well done!
TL;DR: Good, unique graphics with an excellent soundtrack, well polished platforming, and a lot of decent puzzles, but a sizable handful of puzzles that play a bit awkwardly along with some uncomfortable late game mouse controls.
Crystal > Gold > Silver > Bronze > No star
Graphics - Gold star
Good and delightfully unique, but *man,* I wish I could get them in higher fidelity. My GPU was sitting at a comfortable mid-60 to mid-70% for the whole game, and I wish I could bump the texture and polygon quality up on some of the more close-up objects.
Music - Crystal star
Excellently well done and fitting for the game. No complaints whatsoever.
Story - There isn't much of one from what I can tell. There are a few tidbits in the achievements that offer something to ponder, but they don't seem intended as a complete story, per se.
Gameplay - Silver star
Biggest issues are that some puzzles take a lot of unintuitive backtracking and reusing of items, and there is a huge disconnect between 2d cursor and 3d look sensitivity that makes certain sections very uncomfortable to play. (3d look is much too sensitive when 2d cursor is set normally, with no way to adjust them separately.)
A couple other odd tidbits I noticed: There were some doors between sections that just seemed... Completely inaccessible. The player can't get to them and doesn't come back to them, almost like they're meant as debug rooms, but not particularly well hidden. Then, all of the achievements act more like milestones than real achievements.
Other than that, well-polished, simple platforming, with the large majority of the puzzles being fairly well designed.
Oh, it's also a short game. Get it on sale.
In total, 9/12, or 75%.
Absolute gem of a puzzle game designed with delights through every stage of the game. Can't recommend this enough.
A short, well-thought 2.5D puzzle platform game. Some puzzles were a bit frustrating to play. Nonetheless, I'd give it a go if you guys like such puzzle games.
The game was overall quite fun. Personally though, I found the last stage (finale) really annoying and not worth the effort
The Pedestrian is a puzzle game with a nice, calming atmosphere that I certainly enjoyed. It brings interesting mechanics to the table and is not too punishing for failure, even having what was thought to be a punishment for failure turn into a game mechanic. Its very difficult to get frustrated from this game.
With all that said there is an issue and a nitpick I have over it:
-An issue I have is that the game introduces early game puzzles too much and late game puzzles too little. It makes it very easy to pass through some puzzles and difficult to enjoy the mechanics of others.
-Now a nitpick I have is there is so much environment and atmosphere but you're not given the chance to enjoy. You're only given glimpses of it as you pass by.
Really cute game with portal vibes to it. Puzzles have lots of new mechanics every level and never gets stale.
push box, reach key
long jump
infinity
good puzzles not only easy puzzles
A cute little puzzle game.
The puzzle mechanics are novel and the puzzle design is balanced
The visuals are quite charming, themed 3D backgrounds as you go through puzzle shows the devs puts a lot of emphasis on appearance, because it is the only noteworthy thing and they know it.
- It claims full controller support but connecting and moving panels is made with mouse in mind, moving with stick is sluggish.
- Moving panels is not that fun of a concept, distance increase travel time, placement is irrelevant when you can just move it because the lines stay intact, so all you get is annoyance when they overlap and need to change it around.
- Plain platforming is wasted potential, there is no cost to dying, why not throw in more movement challenges? It felt like being able to move is primary for avoiding softlocking.
- Just add a reset button like literally every puzzle game ????
- The puzzles reach its limits very quickly, late game is boring,
- Soundtracks don't loop?
Plain, tedious, uninspired.
Before I buy, I thought like "How hard can it be?" but I must give credit some levels are really hard to solve but it's so fun to play. I wished for longer experience at the end.
Unique Narrative & Unique Style
Close to once in a lifetime experince of puzzle game
Good game
the best game i've tried this year
The game was okay until the end section where it all fell apart.
I dont understand how people that finished this game recomend the game to anyone.
The game is charming and can get quite difficult at points when you simply don't understand how to solve a puzzle. I'm enjoying it so far, have played for about 1.8 hours. Puzzles get new elements and will keep you hooked if you like to use your brain.
Delightful
Is good.
Cleared. and FFFFFFFFFFantastic!: simple 2D movement, high quality motion graphics, smooth transitions from scene to scene. Easy to hop-in-and-out for just a few minutes. Really impressed especially at the latter stages, fascinating one!
Clever puzzle game, great atmoshpere
Impressive
Pretty short game but man is it a good time.
Very fun, wish it was longer (not that it was short, I just want to keep playing)
An amazing puzzle game!!! Finishing the game felt like finishing a good book and wanting more. Highly highly recommended. Everything can be solved and the way the puzzles make you think outside the box(sign) was alot of fun.
made with love.
Was a really fun game. A bit hard some times but I liked that, I feel it was a good level of difficulty. Really fun, thank you for making this game <3
It is hard but If you have the sill It can be a fun game
This is the 2D equivalent of bending space itself to your will.
if you like portal you should definitely give this game a try.
Unique game mechanics, great visuals, challenging puzzles!
We are all pedestrians at some point in our lives...
Super cool game concept, vibe, and puzzles, all with lots of polish. The puzzle difficulty is chill for quite a while, with more focus on novelty, but then ramps up nicely. The finale features especially cool developments on the mechanics!
Lovely and unique puzzle game
with a great aesthetic as well as surprisingly relaxing music
the later sections in the rain are such an amazing vibe
~
Lovely game, finds ways to challenge you every level
A great medium-difficulty puzzle platformer with a very well-executed aesthetic. No deep lore or story, just a good few hours of consistently increasing challenges set in a lovely, relaxing cityscape.
This unique take on a puzzle platformer is an absolute delight to play. I enjoyed every puzzle. It gets frustrating at times, but is never impossible feeling. I had to stop and come back a few times. I'll definitely come back to play again. Highly recommend :)
很有意思的解谜游戏,关卡设计得很巧妙,2/3D融合的演出效果也很有趣。最后一关晕3D患者的灾难,一些对应的标志物没有设计得太好导致要来回跑,玩得我literally差点吐了。
What a neat little game. Isn't it lovely?
Chill little puzzle game
art direction: Excellent
Puzzles: Good, if a bit difficult
A beautiful game that runs well on my older graphics card. The puzzles can be head-scratchers without being impenetrable, with cool twists being introduced right up until the end.
Fun little game with some challenging puzzles. Didn't take very long, but worth grabbing.
I finished this game in one sitting. It was good - a very unique style. I liked the music, the concept, the visuals, and the puzzles. As I was working through the levels, I wasn't really sure if there was a plot, but from the ending there is clearly something I missed and wanted to know more about... The ending was a bit unexpected, but interesting. I wish there was more of the rooftop gameplay, as it would of expanded the game into something more. The puzzles weren't too difficult. The background visuals were very beautiful, especially when you're on the rooftop towards the end. It's a good game.
If you like short puzzle games, then I recommend this game.
An absolutely fantastic puzzle game with unique mechanics and a surprisingly good soundtrack. Puzzles build on each other very well and the atmosphere is unique.
The ending is a little bizarre and disjointed from the rest of the game, but that's very easy to overlook, enjoying the wonderful puzzle mechanics for their own sake.
Took me over two years to finally finish this game.
I'm glad I did.
Amazing.
